Amazing stay where we always feel so welcome. Everything is spot on at the Green Lodge from our arrival to the point where we had to say goodbye (we really didn’t want to).|Jean Luc and Isa run a very tight ship.|Everybody was so kind and helpful.|The room was very cosy, nothing was missing.|We had 3 amazing dinners. They also know how to cook.||A corner of paradise we can only highly recommend.

This is a lovely peaceful spot. Small lodge with the owners on site. Isabelle and Jean Luc were so kind and helpful. Lovely pool and view of the Pacific from each room. Very generous continental breakfast. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

With private pass to the beach, a quiet space and friendly staff. It is ideal for looking for charm and intimacy in Moorea.||The access surprises from the beginning, as well as the spaces, but enormously compensates for the tranquility, friendliness and professionalism.||High quality breakfast and intimate space to be comfortable on an island like Moorea, where hotels and tourist resorts merge. Calm and intimacy are appreciated, totally recommended that you do not want a tourist atmosphere and values personal treatment

This is a pleasant, nicely decorated and attractive small lodge.|However, it is very much a small family run place, in which the hosts are not particularly hospitable or helpful. And their response to other reviews here is indicative.|As a prime example, they decided not to do any other food, other than the basic breakfast included, on Christmas Day, without warning me. If someone is going to open for guests, they should either provide the meals required or warn people in advance, as I could have brought something to eat from Papeete, rather than having nothing to eat on Christmas Day. They did not help me to find anything else, and all the local places that I could walk to (as I was not able to drive) were closed.|I would not stay here if you are not going to hire your own vehicle, or if you are going to be alone.|The special dinner on Christmas Eve was nicely organised, with a glass of champagne, but the volume was excessive. Other dinners were very nice.|You are not able to control the temperature of the air conditioning. Ok, it will only be on when you put your card (attached to the keys) in the system, but as we all sleep at different temperatures, sometimes for medical reasons, it would be best to be able to control the temperature.|It is not on the nicest of beaches, with limited sand, much broken coral and pebbles, but it does have a good view of Tahiti island. There are much nicer beaches on Moorea island.|The lagoon tour organised with Tikki Tours was excellent, but the island tour with Franky Franck was less so.|Make your choice for staying on Moorea based on the various different reviews of this place.

The accommodation itself was very nice. The bed was comfy, the aircon was great, and the shower overlooking the sea was very nice. The breakfast was very tasty and the lady's who prepared the food and served us were very friendly and looked after us well. The only negative for us was that we could hear other morning alarms which meant that we woke up a bit earlier than we would have liked, otherwise, we would stay here again!

This is a beautiful, tranquil, relaxing place. The bungalows are lovely with really cool showers built out of rock. The pool is great and central. The beach out front is rocky but if you walk to the left there are sandy places to enter the water and swim and its deserted! This place is close to Temae beach which is also gorgeous! The owners live on site and are very kind and helpful. They will make dinner if you sign up in the morning and will help you book tours. This location is behind the airport and golf course so having your own car or scooter is ideal although we didn't have either and were fine. They can rent you a car or bike right from the lodging. There are dogs on the property but they are well behaved and the owners make sure they are. There is a place next door that has a restaurant or the golf course has a restaurant too. Lots of places in Tahiti will pick you up if you want to eat at their restaurant so there are lots of food options. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet garden setting right on the beach with bungalows.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay here in late June, and wished we could have stayed longer. It was a fantastic introduction to French Polynesia. The owners are very friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with. The location is slightly off the beaten track, but is worth it, right on the beach and a little quieter. There are half a dozen or so bungalows, we were delighted with our garden view bungalow and loved the look of the stone shower (just would have like a bit more water pressure). The bungalow was clean, nicely decorated and had a large comfortable bed. We really enjoyed the breakfast of fresh fruit, bread, croissants, and jams was provided on the deck overlooking the pool. Unfortunately we didn't have the chance to try other meals here. I certainly recommend this accommodation to anyone considering staying here.

So after reading some of the reviews on here I had to laugh, the only aloof ones here are the German Shepherds. As much as I have tried to make friends they just ignore me.||We had the warmest of welcomes from Anne who continued to be nothing but charming and helpful throughout our stay.||Our bungalow was absolutely charming and we could hear the waves breaking on the beach from there. It is true that if the sun doesn't shine your shower is cold but in such beautiful surroundings I love the green ethos of the lodge. There is a hot shower you can use if this is the case. My only disappointment with this was there is no lock on the door and there is gaps in the bamboo walls but then I'm a prudish Brit and not a free spirited bohemian women. ||The food is absolutely divine. Breakfast is the freshest fruits and breads and croissants. The jams and juices are produced locally which we loved. Dinner is limited but they are only catering for a few so you would expect it to be.||The beach is not for sunbathing and the sea here is wild as nature intended but we still managed to snorkel. The fish we saw were amazing.||Isobel has been very accommodating and friendly and although we have not seen her husband much when we did he was always friendly.||The Green Lodge is remote and it is expensive but everywhere here is expensive. The lodge has cars and bikes that you can hire so you are not stranded. ||We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay her and would recommend it to anyone who can appreciate the smaller places to stay with a personal touch rather than an impersonal corporate monster.||A truly magical stay.
