Green Mango Restaurant

We did a cooking class here with Que, who has been a chef in the restaurant for two years but new to the cooking class. She was great, with clear instructional tips on how to cut and dice, roll spring rolls correctly, make the stock for pho etc. This was a real cooking class rather than something tagged onto the end of a boat ride or market tour. The food we made was absolutely delicious and totally achievable at home. I’ve tried unsuccessfully to roll spring rolls many times, but Que showed us the easy way, much appreciated! :-) I’d happily recommend this class for its back to basic approach, it felt like a well prepared lesson.

We had a cooking course here with Jam the chef. We got to choose our own menu beforehand as a group. We had aprons and hats and it was very well run and set up really well. They offered us drinks during the cooking course. There was plenty for us to do and it lasted two hours which is about right. Everything we made tasted sooo good and the ingredients were super fresh and really good quality. The only part I would not recommend is going to the market as this was a little bit of a sales ploy. However I cannot fault the food or the staff and Jam was particularly funny and kind. The rest of our group also enjoyed food at the restaurant and a very good service.

I had 2 meals here, lunch and dinner, and the very hospitable and kind Thao was my waiter for both. Green Mango is really a treat. The food is excellent. The location is perfect, and it feels so exciting to be sitting on the balcony or at the front with the big windows.

Did the cooking class with 3 other mates and we had a wow of a time. Very interactive and chef was easy to deal with. Lots of laughs and then the surprise when we got to eat our creations. They were lovely! Thanks Chef!

We had a lovely meal at the Green Mango tonight. Reasonably priced with a wide variety of Vietnamese and Western cuisine. We sat upstairs and looked down at the street below. We were served by Dun who was very attentive. Highly recommend!

Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious from the Staten Island Iced Tea cocktail, which was a fun and tasty twist on the classic, to our main dish of Cao Lau, flavorful and so satisfying. Then finished it off with the passion fruit creme brulee, such a stand up out, perfectly tangy and creamy dessert. The staff were excellent. They were warm, attentive and welcoming. The space was cozy and comfortable. I can't recommend this place enough.

Very nice restaurant. We tried local food and it was very tasty. Our server Sue was amazing, very helpful with the menu. Highly recommend 👌🏼

This restaurant has great food options. Wonderful taste. Amazing decorations both foods and the ancient house. It is a must try when being in Hoi An.
