Green Mango Restaurant

I love Green Mango Restaurant! I had some amazing food, and drinks (in particular the Ca Phe Sua Da, Green Mango Daiquiri and Staten Island Ice Tea). The staff are really friendly and highly knowledgeable about the restaurant. I also did a cooking class at the restaurant. My teacher was Pinky and she was fantastic. She really set a great atmosphere for the class with fun and informative moments. I chose menu option 1 and would have to say that it was some of the best food I’ve cooked (with the guidance of Pinky) and eaten. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hoi An. It is centrally located in the Old Town so easy to get to from any point of the town.

Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious from the Staten Island Iced Tea cocktail, which was a fun and tasty twist on the classic, to our main dish of Cao Lau, flavorful and so satisfying. Then finished it off with the passion fruit creme brulee, such a stand up out, perfectly tangy and creamy dessert. The staff were excellent. They were warm, attentive and welcoming. The space was cozy and comfortable. I can't recommend this place enough.

Did the cooking class. Our instructor Jam was amazing. Clear English and easy to talk with and understand. Highly recommend. Was only 2 of us and was way too much food for us to eat. So recommend friends join for a meal and taste your cooking so nothing goes to waste. This was our menu… Menu for cooking class( 33$/pax). 1. Banana flower salad 2. Duck spring roll 3. Chicken soup( pho ga) 4. Fish in banana leaf bbq. 5. Mango sticky rice. Was nice to mix it up. Have had a lot of pork on this trip.

At the cooking class I had such a great experience with 'Jam' as our head chef! She took us to market and then we cooked wonderful meals. So many great tips!! She explained everything beautifully. I had so much fun - highly recommended! Can't wait to try the recipes at home!!🇦🇺

The Green Mango in Hoi An is easily identified by the lovely blue lanterns outside. While waiting for my friends getting tailored dresses, suits, shirts (2 for myself) I wandered across the road to this wonderful Pub & Restaurant. This is the first pub in Vietnam where I got a big proper pint of Tiger beer and a shot of Jameson if you like an accompanying tipple!! I met Adam from Donegal in Ireland who was so friendly and informative about Hoi An. This made my visit so special and lovely to experience a beautiful pub and restaurant with an extensive menu.

Excellent food situated in an old merchant house in the old town. Very reasonably priced. I had the Beef Rangan which was excellent if a little spicy for my taste. Fried and the buffalo steak which he loved. Service could have been a little better as staff seemed a little to interested in their phones, so a small improvement recommended. Highly recommended 👌

Great cocktails at happy hour. Good restaurant if you are craving just plain western style veggies. Really yum pumpkin soup also.

The food was extremely delicious. We tried gnocchi and malaysian style beef curry with rice. The taste and the staff service is great.
