Green Mango Restaurant

One of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we've ever had. The only delicious food was the grapes in cheese starter. The other food was very flavorless and really not good. The pumpkin soup was completely unsalted, I had to add so much salt for it to taste like anything. The drinks were even worse. We had a Mojito, passionfruit drink and a banana shake. The mojito and passionfruit drink had absolutely no sugar, we had to ask for extra sugar twice for it to be drinkable, and even then it wasn't good (they even gave us some sugar juice instead of normal sugar). The banana shake was so foamy that I wouldn't consider it a drink, it felt more like brushing my teeth lol. However at least the service seemed concerned about our bad experience and asked us for feedback at the end after we told the waiters we weren't satisfied. After we voiced our concerns we got a 10% discount, which is a nice gesture, but it's still very expensive for such bad quality. Definitely won't go there again.

We did a cooking class here with Que, who has been a chef in the restaurant for two years but new to the cooking class. She was great, with clear instructional tips on how to cut and dice, roll spring rolls correctly, make the stock for pho etc. This was a real cooking class rather than something tagged onto the end of a boat ride or market tour. The food we made was absolutely delicious and totally achievable at home. I’ve tried unsuccessfully to roll spring rolls many times, but Que showed us the easy way, much appreciated! :-) I’d happily recommend this class for its back to basic approach, it felt like a well prepared lesson.

Me and my group of friends had an wonderful time here! The food was great and the restaurant is truly beautiful. During dinner we were well taken care by the lovely Sue :) A great and unmissable experience for everyone who visits Hoi an.

The food atmosphere and service were amazing. Working down from the north of Vietnam to the south this has been our favourite meal so far. Thao, our server, was kind and efficient and she made the evening feel fantastic

Easily one of my favourites in Hoi An, and I have been to the top others. Delightful mix of English-speaking waiters and local waiters, and one of the loveliest owners in town. Cold beer, great food, happy hour and Amazing service. Can't ask for a better combo!

We had a cooking course here with Jam the chef. We got to choose our own menu beforehand as a group. We had aprons and hats and it was very well run and set up really well. They offered us drinks during the cooking course. There was plenty for us to do and it lasted two hours which is about right. Everything we made tasted sooo good and the ingredients were super fresh and really good quality. The only part I would not recommend is going to the market as this was a little bit of a sales ploy. However I cannot fault the food or the staff and Jam was particularly funny and kind. The rest of our group also enjoyed food at the restaurant and a very good service.

The food was delicious 😋!! We had the fish, Seabass and Tuna and they were fantastic. Awesome service an atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

Some of the best food we've had in Asia and maybe the best pork I've ever had? Lovely friendly service too and comfy chairs. Amazing, local food. Felt really high end for really reasonable prices (150 and for the my quang and 160 for cao lau) wine is 145 but 2 for 1 at happy hour and good house wine. Tiger comes in pints draught, 120 but also in happy hour.
