Green Market is a wonderful destination for all your wellness needs. With friendly and attentive employees, it’s a place where you can feel valued and supported on your health journey. I wholeheartedly recommend this store to all my family and friends.

Google
Plentiful health foods and supplements store. Friendly staff. Just FYI they no longer have prepared foods or a buffet.

Google
Best natural food store in Grayson County!! Very nice staff too. Prices are good too.

Google
Great store for healthy living But prices are at a premium! Wish they made prices more affordable. Makes you just Amazon while you’re in the store. People

Staff is just always "in a mood" I try to be very nice to all staff in every store, & this store is great about the cold shoulder! Maybe 2 staff members there are nice when you come in & or as questions! Product choices are great though!

Google
Coming from Dallas I was dubious about this store, but boy was that a wrong assumption! They carry a larger variety of foods from the list I’m allowed to eat on the Autoimmune Protocol than any other organic, whole food store in Dallas! You can buy your favorite products in bulk and save money, too. They gave lots of Cassava products and a great selection of flour. I buy my organic produce elsewhere, but prepackaged food is a win, win here! Mostly kind and helpful staff with a few rare exceptions. It’s a smidge pricey, but that is just the norm for chemical free, organic, food for people with specific food restrictions.

Always come here for my specialty flour! Also a lot of spices and ingredients you won't find anywhere else in this area.

Pasture Ellison asked me...one more time give this a try. I said okay....stopped, paid....ate...listened, this place was Awesome, more than that I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks Charlie, ps: thanks for the A-Max Coozie-new Zealand chicken fingers and grape look as good as the Marsala

Yelp
I visited the store 11/123/2024 at 5:44 pm. I just wanted to complement the young lady bagging the purchase. A very kind greeting and beautiful smile radiant with a true good spirit. I am bless by her manners and smile and asking to take my cart back to its space. As I was leaving her smile and warm greeting put joy in my heart for a true human being going out of her way to make a person feel welcomed to come again. Thank you and God's light shine upon you and within is obvious in your manners.

Yelp
I'm in between because although the store is pretty good, two workers are not the best in customer service. One of the ladies is named patsy she is a racist and have never encountered such rudeness from someone until her. If my memory isn't wrong she used to be a teacher and was gone the next year due to racism accusations as well. My aunt has gone and she is always difficult with her and almost mimicking her and making fun of. She is not the first one she has done that too. She has other friends that have gone through the same with her. Racism in todays society should not be tolerated in any way. Many of us have spoke up about the situation and have not seen any change. The other lady always sits on register 3 with long brown hair mostly always down. There have been many occasions I have checked out with her and she always has an attitude. She hardly ever says anything to us and always has a rude tone when she speaks to us. There was a time I looked back when leaving and it seemed like she was talking about us as we were leaving and laughing. Overall the store is a good place to shop for organic and cleaner items but it messes the setting up when workers like those make us feel down.

Yelp
Good for dried goods, snacks, and homeopathic medicine. Very limited on fresh produce and meat. There are always mark downs for expired or close to expired items. Also, items are on the expensive side. If I'm in the area and have time to stop for a few items, I might. But nothing worth going out of your way for. I wish they would bring back the little cafe. I would stop at this place more if I could buy a fresh sandwich or meal, etc. We really need a good "organic" grocery store in the area. I really hope they put some TLC into this place.

Yelp
Green Market is great for Health foods but they no longer serve fresh prepared foods and drinks... Bummer

Candy M.

Yelp
I formerly enjoyed shopping here. Maybe the staff was having an off day but they were all standing at one cash register chatting so I walked to the other open one. This worker whom I won't describe, only said one thing to me which was my TOTAL. Never smiled. Nothing. Seemed disgruntled she had to stand up. In the past (it's been a while), I've had staff approach to assist me with supplement selections etc and offer a much friendlier checkout experience. If you're going to spend that EXTRA cost shopping there, a more welcoming experience should be expected. I probably won't be back.

Yelp
new to the area, so glad i found this place. prices are higher compared to sprouts or Whole Foods. but it's close to the house for convenience when a need arises. employees are nice!

Yelp
Debated between 3 and 4 Stars Positives: Great location. Very organized Super clean store! Menu items listed al sound on point and tasty. Prices not TOO bad on the menu side of things. Met with a greeting, which is super nice. Parking lot is huge! Negatives. Y'all! Those prices are a bit Ree-Dik ! I'll come back to that. Somethings have a great selection, some, not so much. Maybe because there isn't really any competition in this arena, then maybe that's why the prices are so much higher. I checked out the top 5 things I would get in Plano (I will not share what they are for unbiased purposes) One had a poor selection so I would have to buy it for $12. I would normally pay 4.79 for Another item: $33 here. I get the same brand $13-15 Another was more comparable: here 7.99 there 4.99 Another item 6.99 a pound. There 4.99 a pound. One not here, I asked. They said they are out. 4 things here 48 bucks in the average. My other place 23 bucks average. I'll drive farther when I do my running around. Oh yeah. Forgot pics, but still very nice place. Work on those prices!

Yelp
We love this place and you can sign up for discounts on supplements so the store offers great incentives and great customer service as well as wonderful advice. Come here and you won't be let downtown

Yelp
Love this store, so glad to have it in Sherman! I can get organic coffee beans without having to drive to Central Market, and they have this awesome coconut milk whip cream that I've never found anywhere else. Like the smoothie & sandwich bar/buffet area, great option for a quick meal.

Yelp
Love the selection and super helpful staff here , I buy my RO water here to avoid drinking City water . Hope the Buffett opens back up soon it's so good and a great lunch go to

Yelp
Awesome place to get amazing natural foods and more! This store makes being vegan an absolute delight. The workers have always been kind and the food has always been delicious. This place is a great find! I keep raving about it to others.

Yelp
Wanted to grab a quick lunch on our way up to Tulsa and this was a great find. Reminded us of a more affordable and smaller Whole Foods. There is a counter service menu of sandwiches and soups, along with a hot item bar and salad bar. Our hot item bar choices were $8.99/pound, so lunch was about $20 for the two of us. Mr. G. And I both got vegetarian fajitas with flour tortillas and received beans. I also grabbed a bit of the tropical cobbler which was tasty. Thanks for having some great warm vegetable based options.

Yelp
I love the Green market! I shop here quite often the only thing that I would change is I wish they had a specific section for keto. Usually I do a lot of running around the store trying to find all the items and I'm looking for but other than that the prices are very reasonable and the staff is super helpful!

Yelp
I have been very pleased visiting this store every time that I have. The employees have always been really eager to help and in a good mood when I have went. Love that they have so many sections for such a smaller store! I was in narnia when I first came here and noticed the amount of vegan friendly products that they have!! Could've done cartwheels!! Wish that they'd carry a few more brands that I'd have to drive closer to Dallas to purchase and wish they'd have a few more vegan food options from the deli area but I understand why they don't! Cant wait to try the salad bar sometime! Anyways, will definitely get my business often. Thanks!

Yelp
Seemed like a large selection of organic products- I would call it high priced but it's hey.. its organic. Lol. We got smoothies in the back which seemed perfectly blended somehow. Def a store I would like to pop into every now and again

Yelp
Yes this place is expensive! You can buy a lot of the same organic Amy's Dinners across the street at Kroger, but they make up for it. Shop at this store for the local foods: meat, produce, honey, ect. When you're here, you must try the sandwich shop. I always get the swiss avocado. They don't have very many veggie options, but the vegan mayo on my sandwich makes up for it! The only thing I don't like is how small the store is. A lot (and I'm sorry if I offend anyone) of the customers don't move. For example (true story), I'm walking past the frozen foods section, trying to turn the corner. A lady is coming in the opposite direction. We are about to turn sideways so we can both pass one another. Suddenly a shrill voice calls out, "Mary is that you?" Woman then stops her shopping cart directly in front of me, turning it sideways, blocking my way around the corner. Woman and her friend start gossiping. They see that I am standing there, and they will not move even a little bit to let me pass. Now, the reason why I am typing this is because this has happened before. Quite a few of their customers are RUDE. I've never had a complaint with the management. I don't know where all of these aggressive customers come from. This is Sherman, not Frisco or Dallas. Besides the rude customers, and extremely narrow aisles, I do love to shop here. I signed up for their email ads, so I'll always know what's on sale.

Yelp
Ok, I get it now! Sure, the grocery store is expensive as all get out, but damn, the cafe is delicious. Everytime I end up there I get an avocado swiss sandwich (go veggie!) and a chai iced tea. Always wonderful, though they should have a vegan cheese option.. my vegan buddy was left wondering why everything had veganaise but no delicious vegan cheese. I also wish they had more vegetarian sandwiches, though I appreciate that there is always a veggie soup.

Yelp
Need a natural tooth paste, vitamin, natural meal and drink then stop in and enjoy. Reminds me of Grains, Beans & Things in Little Rock. Pray this doesn't get bought out.

Yelp
I just ate lunch in the Cafe & it was so delish.. I now have 2 come back & try ALL the natural/organic sandwiches! The Chai Smoothie is fab! I should hv ordered the large!
google avatar

Heather L.

Yelp
The cafe is great! Everything I've tried so far has been delish, esp the Swiss avacado grilled sandwich. They have THE best tomato basil soup! I plan my shopping so I can eat here each week.

Yelp
I love the people, the prepared food, the groceries, all exceptional. They are small town and have the struggles any small town grocery would have like keeping super fresh produce. But given how far they are from the city, I am impressed with what they do and I shop there at least weekly. If we support them with our business they will just get better. We're lucky to have them in this part of the world.

Yelp
Green market has an excellent selection of organic foods & items that are difficult to find in Durant or Sherman. The prices are reasonable for the products they are providing, and quality & freshness are both wonderful. Customer service is always friendly, & the staff are very knowledgable and helpful. The one thing that keeps me from giving this store a five is the small size of the fresh produce section.
google avatar

Kristen K.

Yelp
The cafe is excellent- it's delicious and I always leave feeling full and refreshed- they always use the freshest ingredients! Recommendation: Sun Tuna Salad sandwich, toasted. Delicious.
google avatar

Noelle M.

Yelp
I love this store! Great produce, staff is awesome, smoothies are amazing, and they carry most of my favorite organic brands and snacks and such. . Only 4 stars because some of their products are overpriced.. the cereal my daughter eats is $5/box here, while it's $3/box at target. But I do suppose to pay for the better service.

Yelp
I'm very happy to report that the customer service at Green Market has pretty much done a 180 from where they were 2-3 wks ago when I left my 1st review. And it shows that they are smart for watching for online reviews, taking them seriously and immediately addressing big issues - or at least that's what they did in this case. I've shopped there 4 times since I left the review and noticed a difference in the front lane employees' behavior right away. They've been much more attentive, friendly and talkative with me at the check out lanes. When I was there yesterday, one employee even asked me if I needed help finding anything when I was over by the freezer section. Overall, they seem more focused on taking care of customers' needs and happy to be of assistance, which is what I expect from a business that wants to keep my business. I thank the Green Market managers and employees for making this change - now that I've switched my diet to almost all organic & non-GMO foods, this makes me feel a lot better about giving the majority of my grocery shopping dollars to them. Keep up the good work! P.S. I don't often give 5-star ratings. In this case, though there are other changes I'd like to see (such as a wider selection of products), I think they are doing as well as they can considering the area and population they are serving. Hopefully as Texoma grows and their business grows, their product selection will grow along with it. =)

Yelp
Wise guy eh? Want to eat something good and good for ya eh? Well here's the deal, see. Your going to each lunch at this cafe, see. Gonna get whatever you want, see. And BAM! Just like that your stored fat will be sleeping with the fishes, taking the long nap, burning up like the Nevada sun. But, this comes at a price, see. Be prepared to spend around 17 smackaroos on a two person meal (including a sandwich and two teas). Cheaper than Firehouse. Better for ya. So what are ya waiting for?

Anonymous C.

Yelp
Their smoothies are made to order, and made with real fruit, which can be hard to find. It's a great pick me up on extra busy/tiring mornings. They sell Old Rasputin Imperial Stout. The hot bar can get pricey, but they almost always have something I love on the menu that keeps me going back. They try new things on different days of the week, which keeps it interesting, and hey, it's a health food store... The price helps with portion control!
google avatar

Ulrika N.

Yelp
Visited Green Market the other day kinda hoping that it was Sherman's version of Sprouts (I luuuuuv Sprouts). It's not. They do have a big selection of organic food and products however and although their fresh produce section was very small, I thought it was a neat store. Their prices are higher than the other chain stores close by but then again it is a specialty store with - as far as I know - no competition in the nearest area. :-)
google avatar

Donna W.

Yelp
Prices a bit high but the quality is definitely there. Will continue to shop there for some of my organics.

Yelp
So nice to have an independent whole food and nutrition focused store-in Sherman! From nutritious beverages from many good manufacturers to super foods, they most likely have it. What I really enjoy the most there is their cafes soup. All of them are fresh, tasty, & filled with veggies. They also offer many selections that are nice vegan and vegetarian selections. We enjoy supporting locally owned businesses and many of the folks there are nice and helpful. Their prices seem to be in keeping with other options. We are very glad to have them as a local source for delicious lunch and kale.

Delana K.

Yelp
This store is a great little gem! We stopped in to grab some staples and had lunch. Every single person we encountered was extremely nice and helpful. Great selection of organic. The local kombucha is a must try!

Shelley B.

Yelp
Not willing to help customers. They will push you into buying supplements and then upon returning it, un-opened, they refuse. And the male clerk continues to try to flirt with you, even though you are wearing a wedding ring! And you keep walking away.

Linda C.

Yelp
I live in the Midwest but visit the area often and was so happy to have found a store very similar to what I'm used to up here. I've been a vegan for 35 years and would much prefer to patronize local business that care about the environment and cater to others who do as opposed to chains like Whole Foods. No thank you. Green Market is fantastic - the selection, prices and quality of food. I really hope they stick around for a long, long, long time!

Yelp
I love the fresh sandwiches. The bread is delicious. Great flavored tea as well. Good place to go for a quick lunch.

Yelp
I adore Green Market because of the convenience and great selection. I don't even want to think about how much money I have spent there over the years. However, with the exception of ONE lady, no one has ever made me feel like a valued customer. I wish I knew her name. She appears to be in her 40s or 50s and has lovely short, red hair, and is always cheerful. Everyone else acts bored, disgruntled, resentful of work, and just so over it all. The cashiers are so rude that I dread checking out. I have run into who I believe is the owner or manager several times and she has never once welcomed me to the store or thanked me for my business. Don't even dare try to get a smoothie or a sandwich made at the café. Oh my, if looks could kill, that shaggy young man would have killed me many times over. It's the same guy every time. Needless to say, no matter how badly I want a smoothie when I am there, I refrain from doing so because I don't want to interact with him. What is the problem here? Are the employees being abused? Do you pay only minimum wage? Do you force them to eat plain kale for lunch? This is a very expensive store and if you want to keep my business, you guys need to perk up. I'm looking at you, shaggy.

James C.

Yelp
They are opening a HUGE store in front facing Texoma Parkway. I cant wait. Sherman doesnt have anything like this. KROGER IS TERRIBLE HERE IN TEXAS. Albertsons is EXPENSIVE on produce so I wont mind spending a little more at a locally owned operation.

L R.

Yelp
It is sad when a good customer cannot "exchange" an item. I didn't want to return it, but I wanted to exchange it. The employee said it is the "owner's policy." Indeed, another employee who knows I am a customer who never buys less than a $100 of groceries at each visit was listening to the entire conversation. Unfortunately,I now do not feel the need to shop at the local Green Market when I can hop down the road to Whole Foods! There should always be room for "exceptions to some rules" at a small business. Isn't common sense common? Isn't customer service what normally differentiates high margin businesses like Green Market from its less expensive organic grocers like Kroger, Albertsons, and Wal-mart? Worse than the policy, was the manner In which this "in your face employee" told me I could not make the exchange and continued loudly with his tirade. I am sorry he misses the big picture....but maybe he is an employee who needs anger management, new management, or a lesson in customer service.
