Green Papaya Beach Resort

This place was a very lowkey beach town location. Family friendly and great for romantic stays and adventures. The staff was extremely tentative and kind. The main front lady helped my family and I on numerous occasions. She even phoned our next place to stay in Chiang Mai to help confirm our booking. Their entire facility to eco-friendly. With fresh water in glass bottles handed out everyday. Had a very big room with a big bathroom. Very comfortable bed, and the showers got hot! So amazing would stay here again! There were some great restaurants in walking distance right on the beach. They also offered morning yoga and taxis into town for the Sunday night market. Every day you would select your next breakfast option for the following morning. They had some pretty great options. Their french toast was my personal favorite! Definitely stay here!

We were lucky enough to book the front room closest to the beach, and with the curtains pulled, it was a fantastic view. the room was large, very, very clean, and a lovely soft bed, which we really appreciated as most beds in thailand are very hard. large bathroom with plenty of storage, an outdoor shower, and a large bath. the room also had a couch, but most of the day was spent on the large deck of a few feet away lounging around the pool. they supplied you with plenty of free water every day. The pool was a great temperature and very clean, large and with a great view of the beach. the young couple running the place were very lovely, helpful and friendly. breakfast was a smorgesboard served in their beachside restaurant, which was only used for breakfast. their fruit juice was delicious and plenty foof to choose from. you could buy beer and drinks from reception out of the cold fridge, which was handy every afternoon to sit and have cold beers on the deck before strolling down the beach for dinner. the resort is placed at one end of the beach, the nice end, sheltered, quiet, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. we would recommend and definitely stay again. thank you

This was our second visit to this hotel, the first time 9 years ago and now again in July 2024. The first time we were two families with children, this time we were just two adults. Now we lived on the first floor of the boathouse (bst). The room was large and clean. The bed good and the breakfast good. We like the beach very much. The place can definitely be recommended. It is well maintained although it is starting to look a bit worn.

The place is really outdated and the rooms are not maintained, a strong smell of mold. Unclean toilets. In addition, during a yoga class, a gold chain was stolen from me that I put in my hand and the receptionist refused to open cameras for me. I'm sorry I came to this place. Apart from the beach nothing is worth the money

A stunning hotel on the quiet Salad beach with bungalows set in a lush garden. There are lots of loungers for relaxing on, some around the pool, others overlooking the beach. There are lots of restaurants to choose from on the beach front and the best thing is that you can snorkel off the beach itself! There is a lovely reef that can be walked out to at low tide with lots of fish and coral. Highly recommend a few days here :-).

This hotel should have more than just 3 stars. Lovely room with a bathtub, comfortable bed, stunning pool area and direct access to the beach. The staff was super friendly and let us use snorkeling gear, beach towels and the pool even after check-out. The location is quite remote but they will help you find a taxi/ride if needed. We loved it!

Nice location, the rooms a bit a worn out. The included breakfast is very basic. No restaurant at the hotel. The reception closes at 18:30
