Green Papaya Beach Resort

Loved it here, staff are friendly and helpful,beautifully kept pool and grounds, top notch breakfast choices served to the room. You are right on the beach with multiple cafes and massage on the doorstep. Sadly the resorts restaurant was under renovation when we stayed but food still available to the room and plenty of other options up the beach. Hope to return and see the restaurant completed as it is a great spot. Rooms are rustic Thai style so don’t expect 5 star luxury but clean,comfy with everything you need. Minibar and laundry is reasonably priced,all in all we were very happy during our five nights here 😊

Lovely resort in a quiet area of the island. Lots of little beach restaurants to go to close by. This resort is still building its restaurant, which I’m sure will be nice too. Great pool and beach access. The rooms are big and well stocked. The daily service could use some work as our cottage was often missed with water refills and extra toilet paper. Also they stop all service at 4pm. Other than that it was great!

This place is really great. It is located on the south end of Salad beach. The pool is 1,8 meters deep, well kept and right next to the beach. When we visited they were renovating the restaurant so there were no buffet breakfast however the a'la carte options were truly good.||The overall location is in the middle of the jungle and it felt awesome and I would recommend everyone to visit this place.

We have had a fantastic stay at Green Papaya. The staff are standout, so friendly and they do an amazing job at maintaining the property and cleaning the rooms. We had an accident on the moped and the staff were really helpful with giving us products to clean the wounds. I read an earlier review saying the rooms are tired but at least for the room we stayed in, we didn’t see that at all. The room was so comfortable and very nicely decorated. The grounds were very well manicured including the pool which I saw them cleaning daily. The location is also great with multiple restaurants along the beach for dinner as well as having the hotel restaurant for breakfast and lunch (which closes at 4pm). I would highly recommend this hotel, cannot go wrong!

A very nice hotel located by the beach. The staff were super nice and the rooms and areas were kept very clean. Nice pool area. Breakfast is deliveref to enjoy outside the house as the restaurant is currently being rebuilt.

We loved our stay here, staff were very attentive. You have the choice of daily housekeeping where they clean your room and provide fresh towels which feels nice. Lovely pool over looking the ocean. I’m very happy we stayed at Green Papaya Beach Resort.

This was our second visit to this hotel, the first time 9 years ago and now again in July 2024. The first time we were two families with children, this time we were just two adults. Now we lived on the first floor of the boathouse (bst). The room was large and clean. The bed good and the breakfast good. We like the beach very much. The place can definitely be recommended. It is well maintained although it is starting to look a bit worn.

A stunning hotel on the quiet Salad beach with bungalows set in a lush garden. There are lots of loungers for relaxing on, some around the pool, others overlooking the beach. There are lots of restaurants to choose from on the beach front and the best thing is that you can snorkel off the beach itself! There is a lovely reef that can be walked out to at low tide with lots of fish and coral. Highly recommend a few days here :-).
