Green Papaya Beach Resort

Nice room but a bit worn out. Shower is outside and drain water is spilling on the garden floor. Pool is great. Beach is great, sand, no rocks, swimmable all the way to the terrace. Drinks served there. Location is great. Food in the bar is a bit expensive. Good coffee (as opposed to the neighbours with Nescafé powder coffee, called espresso). Room is made daily but has some surprises: no coffee, laptop on charger was disconnected and moved and put in the suitcase, waste paper bin gone. Car parking works fine, steep slope not really a problem. Great airco, but switched off when leaving (not a problem). Great veranda and deck at the front. Altogether very doable. We may return.

We had a truly PERFECT vacation at Green Papaya!!!🙌🏼❤️ The staff feels like family- warm, caring, and genuinely touched our hearts. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, the beach and the pool are absolute paradise, and the restaurant is delicious and high quality. This place is simply perfect. Huge thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable stay.

Amazing Stay at Green Papaya Resort! We absolutely loved everything about this place. The location is perfect – a quiet and stunning bay just a short drive from the island’s center. The rooms are beautifully designed, the staff are super friendly and professional, and the whole atmosphere makes you feel instantly relaxed. We enjoyed the morning yoga, the delicious breakfast, and the great pool area – everything was just spot on. If you’re looking for peace and tranquility without being too far from the action, this resort is the perfect choice!

Cute little resort located at salad beach ⛱️ room is amazing and breakfast is amazing 😍 the staffs are very friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend if you need peaceful and quiet environment. The only con that I would say is you need to have a bike in order to commute to places like 7-11 and restaurants but overall I really love this place. Will definitely go back !!!

The best value for money & most authentic hotel in koh Pangan. The stuff were absolutely amazing, and was always happy and make sure that everything is ok. The rooms - really cool and comfortable. Unfortunately from time to time there is a smell of sewerage, but its pass. The hotel are located on a lovely beach, and you have a Perfect spot to see the view. We will come back

The place is just wow! The people are very friendly. The bed is the most comfortable in the world. The shower is under the open sky, and you can see the stars. It’s right by the beach (which is very beautiful, though not the best one to swim in compared to other beaches in Koh Phangan). There’s a massage spot on the beach, and the beach itself is very quiet. It’s not in the most central location, so you’ll need a taxi, motorbike, or car. The room is well-equipped, with air conditioning, a comfortable bed, and the outdoor shower as a bonus. There’s also a big, clean, and beautiful pool right by the beach. In short – highly recommended!

The hotel is in next to a beautiful beach and the garden, pool and beach are amazing. Sunset is right in front of the beach. The issue is with the rooms. It's old, bathroom and shower with weak water flow and you feel like the whole infrastructure is outdated. The stuff is very nice and welcoming but they can't really solve your problems when it comes to infrastructure.

This has been my favourite place to stay in Thailand so far! Beautiful garden, thoughtful service, very peaceful surroundings, restaurant right on the beach, free snorkel and paddle board hire, delicious breakfast. Special thanks to Nani :)
