Great vacation with kids aged 4 and 5. They put effort into games and fun activities for the kids at no extra cost. The ownership and team put effort into quick resolution of any issues. The west end of the island is less touristy and has more focus on the family feel in comparison to Charlottetown which feels like it has a big city mentality. Perfect spot to visit as you are centrally located to many beaches (the good local ones! Just ask which one to visit at the local coffee shop in Richmond)

As the season comes to a close, I would like to thank Green Park for another lovely stay. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the location beautiful. The environmentally protected beach is fun to walk and see what shells are left behind by the tide. The sunsets are exquisite. We have recommended the park to family and friends who have also enjoyed their stay here. We've enjoyed the park for years and look forward to next year.

We had a wonderful experience at KW Green Park Camp. The entire park is very clean, lots of places and equipment for kids to play and wonderful views of the water. All personnel were helpful and friendly as it seemed for entire PEI. We were given great advice were to explore on the island. We were staying in a trailer we brought that wasn’t very well equipped . They loaned us a water hose and an electrical converter for our shore power. They also stopped by to male sure we had everything hooked up OK. We were only there for 3 nights but are already trying to figure out when we can visit again.

Welcome to mosquito hell. Nothing can save you. Be prepared for 50+ bites per night. If you do stay, go out and enjoy the beautiful island until bedtime. Go right in your tent. I'm not joking. Trout River is heavily fished, and not swimmable in the summer heat. I cut my foot in the water because of sharp shells (maybe)? We ended up booking a hotel for our last night. The free firewood is a trick. It's sitting outside, and even after 4 days of summer heat, it's still wet. It's cheap though.

Beware the ever present mosquitoes. They mow a small section every day so the mosquitoes are always stirred up. They say they spray and it's good but we were trapped in the screen tent we brought. Walking the dog, even while wearing bug spray leads to 20 - 30 bites before the little fella can make a "Mountain Dew". They offer no consolation nor respite and.. 7day cancelation policy is in Full Effect!! Please, PEI is beautiful, the people are great but not here.. Keep driving!! We're out half of our vacay budget and can't stay. One of us is allergic.

July 28/2024 Becareful if you are staying more than one night at this mosquitoe infested campground. We arrived on a Sunday the male owner very kind man brought us to our site, explaining about how they spray for mosquitoes every two weeks. I mentioned to him that we have a screen tent attached to our camper he said then it shouldn't be a problem. So we pd for two nights. First night we tried to go to the beach but unless one is drenched in bug spray good luck with that. We ended the walk really fast and back to the screen tent, the next day early around 10 the ride on lawn mower guy comes out and starts mowing the short grass right beside our spot. Not even noticing that we are sitting in the tent he drives over the firepit that was about 10 ft away and ashes go everywhere and he continues like nothing even happend. We left for the rest of the day. When we got back to the site we thought lets stay here for the remainder of the week and things should improve. So we pd for 5more nights. The next morning which was Tuesday we decided against it. Due to the mosquitoes were so bad couldn't even sit in our screen tent for very long. Back inside the camper. We had so many bites on us. Oh and the lawn mower guy was back at it again. He would mow short pieces of the property enough maybe to stir up the mosquitoes... So I call the office and explain that I just can't handle the mosquitoes anymore the other owner female I presume husband and wife, well she says we have a 7day cancellation policy and will have to think about it. WHATTTTTT!!!! So i said to her well you do what you think is right and we will be leaving. I even suggested being refunded just half. So as of right now a week later no refund for the time not spent in there campground. So even though she claimed a 7day cancellation policy I thought perhaps she would of refunded at least half of the cost but nope. But I can understand why your campground is not full, rundown cabins are empty, we were the only camper on the first night and two on the second night. Couple tenters. So we feel she stole from us... But my bad on rushing through the online rules and regulations that she wanted me to sign before I had actually read them. So I hope you enjoy our$ 289.80 and not having us there. I do not ever recommend this place, not only for the mosquitoes but for stealing from us and the non kind service we got from the wife/owner. We had the privilege of telling our story to quite a few people and as well to the owners of the beautiful campground that we ended up staying at. The owner made sure that we were treated very well. We visited July '24. Just 2 of us, RVing & didn't require any amenities. We enjoyed our stay but found the sites very narrow and water pressure was low having 4-5 spigots sharing 1 pipe. The #5 site was on such a slant that the sewer hookup, at best, was the same height as our black tank so there was no downhill flow and therefore very slow draining. The map given was not the best but mostly I suggest the owners put the full title & address on that map as a quick reference incase emergency responders need to be called.

Stayed for 1 night in a cabin. Location is nice and the cabin was comfortable .Although ,it was hard to enjoy the outdoors because of the crazy amount of mosquitos ( even though they say they spray). They have free wifi .
