Green Turtle Club Resort & Marina

We didn’t stay in the resort since we had our boat at the marina. The resort, Dollar Bar and restaurant were all fantastic. The dock master totally took care of us coming in and leaving. Reservations were easy to make by calling their main line. The restaurant had the best food in the Bahamas! The people were all very friendly & helpful. Restrooms and other facilities were very clean as well. This is a great spot/location as well. Close to beaches and golf cart rentals so you can get downtown in a flash. Highly recommend Green Turtle Club for a fun vacation destination.

The island is still recovering from Dorian, but some attention to details could help. Stayed in king suite which was tired. Bathroom door was dirty & one of the deck chairs was broken. Worst was bar/restaurant experience. Went to get dinner on Saturday night & were told we needed a reservation. Explained no one told us but we were guests. Hostess told us to wait outside & she’d see if they could accommodate us. Went to the bar & ordered 2 wines. Sign on bar clearly posted my Pinot Grigio as $10 & my husband’s Cab as $16. We were handed a bill for $40. When I questioned the bill I was told that was for tax & automatic tip. Asked for itemized bill which listed both wines as $16, then calculated 10% tax & 15% tip on incorrect amount. Bartender said nothing he could do. ||We did get dinner, which was great. But overall service & amenities need some attention.

We had the perfect room with a view of the marina and most of our meals there at the restaurant. Everything was great!||Rent a golf cart and see the whole island. We were the only 2 on all the beaches we found. ||We had lots of fun and look forward to returning!

Love the location!! Our villa was right on the water with a beautiful view! It was also very spacious for our group of six people. Only cons were the customer service folks were a little unfriendly and it would have been nice to have a little more explanation about the island at check-in as we are first-timers. Also, the rooms are pretty dated and could use a refresh. The cleaning ladies were so nice though and did a great job!! The restaurant served great food, just be prepared to wait awhile for it. Overall, we had a great experience at the club and we absolutely love Green Turtle Cay!

Did not stay at Green Turtle Resort. Only went there for fuel and food. Resturant was good. Typical Bahamas prices. Drinks were good and strong. Expect to spend $40 per person if you have a meal and drinks.

Ate dinner here, and despite reservations, it took forever. Moreover, they tried to overcharge us on wine, inflating our bottle prices by 3x. The shrimp in my fettuccini were small salad shrimp that still had the tails on. How am I supposed to remove the tails?! Get my fingers in my dish?!

We had a group with us, stopped by boat for lunch. We sat for 1.5 hours and never got our food. We had a waitress stop by once after we ordered our food, and that's it. This was the second bad experience. We will not be coming back again.

Service was pleasant and attentive each time we dined in the restaurant. We attended a portion of the Devour event, which was unique with a great group of folks. We are interested in getting married here. The service had a personal touch, which stood out over other area offerings. Each meal in the restaurant was flavorful and met our expectations.
