Green Valley Vista

Wonderful place to stay for a visit around the Munnar area. The views from our balcony were spectacular and we loved watching the birds from the balcony. The room was very clean, spacious and good hot water. Manoj was very welcoming and helped us organise a trek through the hotel with no pressure. Also very helpful advice about onward journey. Breakfast was very filling with something different offered daily. The hotel and restaurant staff were very accommodating. There is ongoing work to use the terrace as for yoga classes and at present Manoj provides mats for yoga- this was lovely at sunrise. He also taught us how to play Carrom which was great to play with other guests. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Manoj and your lovely team.

Great place to stay! I recommend it cause I would definetel come back if I have the opportunity to come bavk to Munnar. It's clean and confortable. Room with good space, king bed. I liked the view to the mountaims and nature, beautiful sunrises here, fro my balcony and from the terrace. I had coffee, breakfast and dinner, is good.

A beautiful place to stay in filled with calmness. The property is little distance away from the main Munnar. If you are travelling by car/ hired vehicle then there is no difficulty in commuting to other places.Service is good with very clean and spacious rooms attached with big verandah with mountain view. Bathroom was very clean . Complimentary breakfast was excellent. Nearby there is a centre to watch Kathakali dance and Kalaripayattu martial art.

The place is being done up for the moment, it's going to look amazing. We had an amazing stay there,it feels very homely. The staff is lovely, we had beautiful food that the waiter recommended and for once when he said it wasn't spicy, it wasn't (for our European tastes). The manager Manush, was so amazing, he looked after us so well,helped us with some issues we had , he booked all our tours because he has a tour operation, and they were all great. I can't fault this place. The value for money was amazing. It's right on the side of the road but the rooms are very quiet, and the view from the balcony is awesome.

Confirm this resort only after reading all this things and seeing the photos. I am writing this review with great sadness. because of my plight and helplessness when me and my wife (Honeymoon Trip)came to enjoy Munnar for the first time. When I did a google search to book a room, I found a resort named Green Valley Vista. When I contacted the number, Mr Manoj answered the phone. He said that the room was available. Me and my wife checked all the photos.. contacted Mr Manoj again.He said there is a resort called Creek way Munnar. it has a good view and you can explore as much as you can. you will get river view etc and he said that Green valley vista is full.. Believing his words and several unrelated photos, pressured him (Munnaar, all hotels are full, it is very busy, if you need it, you must tell us now. If not, you will not get a room) and we handed over the advance. Regarding his instruction , We was reached Creekway Munnar resort (20 km from Munnar town) on the way to Pumb house. Very bad location, a house with no visibility, below are permanent residents, upstairs is our room. Nothing to say reosrt.. It is house in a bad situation. I told him that we can't stay in such a bad situation with such limitations.. He said that he can't refund the advance amount. Instead asked me to come to Green valley vista Resorts Chithirapuram. When he got there, the situation was even worse. He invited us there saying that there is a mountain view.. When we got there, he gave us a room that didn't even have a view.. He took advantage of our helpless situation.. Unclean toilet, unclean room, bathroom door full of nails.. due to which my hands got hurt... (I have shared all the photos here) Very bad and insulting kind of complementary Breakfast Please Note :- The manager and owner of this resort are all the same.

If I had one single hotel to recommend in Munnar, it would be this one. The room was very pretty and comfortable with everything we needed. The view from the balcony was stunning. Sadly we had decided, before knowing, to book a "5 stars" hotel with ayurvedic massage for the next days. What a mistake !!!! When we arrived at Green Valley Vista, all the staff was lovely and the manager very helpful. He organised tours for us for the next 3 days including the pick up from our next place. We also booked from him the best massage ever and after it we stayed at the hotel for dinner. The food in the restaurant was delicious, actually better than in our hotel. The staff was so sweet and we were very good taken care of. Would definitely recommend this place.

*Bad Experience Alert 🚫* As per Indian law, *women have the right to use washrooms in any hotel or restaurant*. However, today I faced a bad experience — when I politely asked to use the washroom, the person denied it and held me back, saying there's no washroom. Please be aware and avoid supporting such restaurants that deny basic rights and lack of respect for women.

Best experience! Very helpful and polite staffs and the food was amazing The rooms were top-notch and had a very great view of the mountains!
