Green Village Langkawi

The staff was actually friendly but the rooms are so smelly as if they haven’t had fresh air for months and when I opened the curtains a lizard fell on me. Yeah, I know that it’s an island and animals are everywhere in the street but that has nothing to do with the hotel. I stayed in Seaview and Wehotel and both were clean, very clean. Although, I didn’t stay in the hotel more than 20 minutes seeing other dirty rooms to decide whether to stay or not, the hotel refused to refund me. What a scam! This is my second visit to Malaysia and if I come back I’ll never ever go to this hotel and I’ll definitely not recommend it.

We landed in Langkawi looking to go to another place we had researched pre our trip but due to Chinese New Year they were full and we had to look for somewhere else. This place had room and we ended up here for 6 nights. The photos don’t do this place justice. Hopefully the ones below do. This place is almost perfect. It’s a bit rough round the edges but is ideal for anyone wanting to be far enough away from the centre but close to the beach yet spend time at their accommodation in peace and quiet. Set within a big piece of land there are little chalets surrounding a plush garden of palms and plants with a central swimming pool which was perfect in the midday heat. The rooms are basic but have air con and very comfortable with loungers outside and a little kitchen area with fridge. The staff are very friendly and helpful and made breakfast every morning in the communal area for everyone. We were lucky that there were not many people staying there so was very peaceful and would definitely go back. The beach is about 10 mins walk which is he local Tenang beach which is quieter than Cenang but has no shops etc on the beach. A fair few restaurants in the surrounding area are local and great. This place just needs a bit of a lick of paint and the garden be added to and this is perfect. Ideal for couples, families and the retired. Go visit.

i love the ambiance of the place. its very quite and if you want to get rid of tge stressful life of the city. Every corner of the hotel was well-designed. Our big room lived up to its name. The bed and pillows were sooo comfy and we slept like babies. The pool was enjoyable. Breakfast at was yummy and filling. Will definitely stay again when we are in Langkawi p.s THIS IS ALSO GOOD FOR HONEYMOONERS

When we arrived to the resort, no one in the reception. There were some guests or staffs (we don't know as they are not wearing uniform) playing pool in front of the counter, we waited until we asked how long we need to wait for check in. Then, there was a young man approached us and proceed our check in. There was no any briefing and don't even inform us what time our breakfast and where we should have our breakfast. No assistance at all for carry our luggage as we had to walked by certain distance to reach our room and there is the sand ground. Really terrible hospitality service. ||The room and the hotel really poor maintenance eventually. There were a lot of lizard poo on the floor and cobwebs on the wall and ceiling. Cracking marble floor which hurt our feet. The most disgust is when we opened the water at the basin, the water was yellowish and same goes to toilet bowl as well. It was like such a long long period didn't stay by guests. ||We will never come back!!

Hello everyone. I had visited Langkawi in May 19 and stayed at Green Village, Pantai Tengah for t04 days. A pleasanrt stay at the hotel with all amenities like swimming pool, family rooms, buffet breakfast, toiletries and other amenities. The staff was also very corteous and welcoming. They assisted on each and every aspect to make our stay comfortable. The hotel is even near to the Panti Cenang beach. A wonderful place to stay for families on a budget.

The staff came into our room when we were out, went through our bags and stole our money. When we reported it to management they were extremely unhelpful. They even blamed us for leaving the money hidden in our room. Obviously we didn't want to stay as we didn't feel safe and they refused to refund us the money for the night we weren't staying there. We went to the police and were told that it is a common occurrence there and to tell our friends never to stay there. It ruined the end of our holiday. I have never been treated like that by a hotel before. Don't stay there if possible

We were greeted with smiles and staff was very friendly and helpful and love the vibe plus relaxed atmosphere. I love artsy interiors but I'm not sure if it was actually the theme for the room. The linens are clean and comfortable, I have a good night sleep

Don't believe in photos. It's a very average place and the room rents are too heavy according to the facility they offer. No proper water connection in bathroom. Surrounding areas are water logging areas. Mosquitoes everywhere. No reasutarant, they serve only breakfast. Overall cleanliness is not good. Better avoid those who are coming with family.
