Marcela put together an amazing trip for me and my children. Not only last minute but also during the busy Christmas season! Booked our trip/flights on Thursday and flew out on Saturday. We were able to get in almost all the activities we had hoped for, all of our accommodations were excellent all of our transportation/drivers were on time and very friendly. Definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Costa Rica.

I can't imagine having visited Costa Rica without the help of Green World Adventures. Mariana made our trip incredibly easy and low-stress. We didn't have to worry about booking anything ourselves, from hotels to transportation to guided hikes, and the locations were all truly amazing. No day felt overly busy, nor slow. Mariana struck a perfect balance between fun activities that were matched specifically to our interests and down time, allowing us to explore the the towns, beaches, and even the beautiful hotel grounds of each location when we weren't out spotting wildlife in the pristine forests of Costa Rica. We also loved the guides that were scheduled for each of our hikes. They were all incredibly friendly and we wouldn't have seen 90% of the wildlife we saw without their trained eyes. The hotels were beautiful, the guides were incredible, the locations were lush with biodiversity, and we even befriended many of our shuttle drivers (though spending the prior year working on my Spanish certainly helped)! We fully intend to return to Costa Rica in the future and Green World Adventures will be the first place we contact. We’ve just returned from our first trip to Costa Rica, and it was a fantastic experience! While searching for a short getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary, we stumbled upon the GWA Eco Adventure Trip. The itinerary included all the activities we love: white-water rafting, canyoning, horseback riding, zip-lining, and snorkeling. From the moment we booked, GWA impressed us with their professionalism and warmth. Gaby reached out promptly to answer our questions and help us prepare. The coordination of the entire trip—hotels, transportation, and activities—was flawless. Everything ran smoothly, down to the minute. Traveling in July, during the rainy season, had its perks. The lighter crowds meant we had more intimate experiences—like a private horseback riding tour that felt incredibly personal and special. On the day of our anniversary, GWA surprised us with flowers and chocolates - a thoughtful gesture that made the day even more memorable. Our trip to Costa Rica was amazing. The itinerary was perfect, enabling us to explore so much of this rich and bio-diverse country. I took a trip to Costa Rica with my 63 year old mother for 8 days. We chose to use GWA to curate the perfect experience for both of us and we were so impressed with how everything was handled. We had a custom itinerary made for us by Veronica and she was so easy to work with adjusting it for what we wanted to do. Everything on the trip flowed seamlessly and we were blown away with how professional, friendly, and knowledgeable all of our guides were. Additionally, it was so nice to know that GWA does their research on the sustainability of the tours they use so we can rest easy knowing we were using tour operators that are doing their best to minimize their impact on the environment. Green World Adventures was excellent in culminating such an adventurous itinerary that fit our wants! My family had the best vacation, and we owe it to GWA. Our guides and drivers were professional, timely, fun and so personable. Within 9 days, we got to experience much of Costa Rica effectively and care-free. From spotting sloths, exotic birds, poisonous snakes, monkeys, and iguanas to hiking, swinging on ropes and relaxing in hot springs, we felt we did it all! Thank you so much GWA for such a truly, enriching experience in your beautiful country! We hope to visit again and book your services!

We had a great experience with Green World Adventures and our Tailor-made tour set up by Jean-Carlo. He was very attentive to our requests and suggested different excursions and timing throughout the trip. Our drivers always arrived early & were personable. My best advice is to give a clear picture of what you want your trip to beautiful Costa Rica to be like. For example, what time you prefer pick ups & excursions, the time & distance between locations and excursions, the group size, what meals are included, and if there is built-in downtime. We loved La Paz Waterfalls & Gardens, La Fortuna Volcano area & waterfall. Next time we would stay at a hot spring resort & take the boat across Lake Arenal! We loved the Santa Elena area & Monteverde Cloud Forest including the Night Walk, Hanging Bridges, and Sky Trek. Last, the beach & ocean at Tamarindo was fun for tide pooling, snorkeling, & swimming with great food, a bit of tourist shopping, and ability to book other area excursions, if desired. Finally, there are two airports. We chose to do a one-way so that we could see different parts of CR. Liberia airport is small but modern with easy check in and clean, cool concourses. Go with GWA & Jean Carlo!

GWA worked with me to personalise one of their trips to Costa Rica, giving us more time at each venue and maximising our opportunity for wildlife viewing. I worked with Dennis, who was incredibly patient as I kept changing our itinerary! They booked all the transfers between places and brilliant tours too. The tour companies they used were very efficient and knowledgeable and all went perfect. It was nice to use a local company and also one that follows sustainability in CR. They gave us water bottles as plastic ones are not encouraged. We travelled on our own but were supported throughout by Dennis or one of his team by What’s App. We saw so much and were delighted with all the different accommodations and guides GWA booked. I can’t thank them enough for booking our wonderful 3 weeks in beautiful Costa Rica and would recommend them to anyone. Pura Vida!❤️
