Massive park space with cool shopping and food/drink options onsite. Beautiful views and plenty of space to walk as well. A great benefit for the area/island.

Beautiful grounds to walk and explore. Art galleries, trails, and views make it a peaceful and scenic spot. We enjoyed strolling with our dog and poking into a few of the shops. The Pup shop was our dogs fav of course. I enjoyed the shop with all of the cheese and jams. I could have spent more time here.

What a lovely place. Loved all the shops! An amazing place to take your dog to run their heart’s content in the leash free zone. The view is beautiful.

We take our Australian shepherd, Luna, for off leash walks. Love the trails. She gets her energy out, and for the most part, there are well-behaved dogs and good dog parents. I have had only one time that some elderly dog parents do not pay attention to their standard poodle. This dog came up to us and acted like it wanted to play. Then it tried to bite my leg. My dog redirected her. When I approached the owners, they shrugged it off. I've not seen them back. Beware of the standard cream colored poodle. Everything else has been great! We enjoy grabbing some doggy treats at the new pet shop, and we pick up cheese for the humans after our walk.

Absolutely lovely place. It's only about a half hour drive from the ferry terminal. There's a huge off leash dog area and little shops, including an excellent wine and pie shop as well as a wonderful pet shop. You could definitely spend a whole day there. There's plenty of parking and the staff are very kind and friendly.

Great place to spend a relaxing few hours! Shopping, wine tasting, walking through the gardens and having a bite to eat.

Nice place for a hike with views to the Olympics and the Cascades along the ridge trail. Trails thru a forest connect to the ridge trail. Excellent big off lease dog park encompasses all the trails. Shops are “meh” and the cafe has quite limited offerings on the menu. The master gardeners demonstration garden is a gem! Photo is in the garden.

What a wonderful location! Found it by seeing an ad in a local tourist booklet. We stopped by for a glass if wine and a bite to eat. The atmosphere is adorable! The wine is delicious. Nice hummus plate for two. More food options next door to the winery. The server was kind and engaging. Love talking to the locals when we are on a trip. It was a lovely experience and one that we would recommend to others. I bet this place is hopping during the summer.

Stopped at the wine shops for tastings. At $2 per glass, pretty good price The complex has cool shops and a garden.

Love this cute little place! The spacious are for dogs and kids to run and play while you sightsee or shop. The cheese shop is an absolute must and has some amazing flavored salsas, jams, pickled goodies, chips, crackers, and a divine variety or cheeses, you name it! The pup stop is a great place to get treats, bones, leashes and all things pets. Love the pie selection and they also have wine, crackers, cheese, and a great selection of clothes. Everyone is so kind at the farm, very welcoming, and knowledgeable.

It's a collection of little stores; dog store, cheese shop, wine and pie shop. There's a farm to wander around. Maybe it was not exciting because we were there on a weekday. It was just a place to drive to, shop and eat some pie.

Came here with our pup to check out this spot and enjoy some pie! This place is super family and dog friendly. They even have a shop where you can buy some goodies for your pup! I got a back of freeze dried salmon, some local mackerel treats, and a raincoat. They have little gardens and green space areas you can hike and enjoy the views. We stopped and got a slice of pie which was delicious! Plenty of parking and it looks like they host cool events from time to time.

Update: As of Nov. 2023, I'm happy to report that everything is still awesome here. The Old Bistro still has very good food, the amazing Whidbey Island Pies, and excellent service -- and, all at very reasonable prices. The Greenbank Farm Wine Shop next door is still a great place to do a few sampler flights and buy some unique wines - some only available there. The UPDATE - buy your marionberry pie at the Old Bistro, a la mode, and take it to the seating at the wine shop, then buy a flight of wine and make sure to include the Loganberry desert wine. Now, here's the fun -- pour the Loganberry desert wine all over your pie and ice cream. Yeah, baby! That's a nice slice of heaven. Then, buy a bottle of the above and a whole pie of the above and play the home game! And, yes, I speak from experience. My QA Team and I don't recommend anything we haven't thoroughly sampled! ;-) Also, don't forget that they usually have the marionberry pie in GF or regular -- and the GF is as good as any non-GF pie around. if not much, much better. Hands down.

We went to the old spot bistro and ordered pies and drinks. The Marionberry was sold out so we got peach and loganberry. They were very good but they were served cold which was a bit disappointing. I'm not sure if heating up was even an option as the cashier did not ask us anything. We also did not see ice cream on the menu but saw other people who ordered later than us had ice cream with their pies. If we had known that, we would have added ice cream. The drinks were just okay. None the less, pies still tasted good and we ended up buying a whole pie to go to enjoy at home.

Great place to hang out with family. They had a father's event going as well, local vendors with arts and crafts. There was wine tasting, shops to check out and just very pretty layout. We had lunch at the cafe on site. Good soup and sandwiches. Saw the pond, their solar system array, went to the antique shop and pet shop. Everyone friendly and welcoming.

Went to the bistro for grilled cheese and wine. Visited the wine tasting room and cheese shop. The grilled cheese was wonderful and flavorful. Great wine selection! Cheese shop is well stocked. This place is made for picnics. Dog walking trails with views. Friendly staff and ample parking. Try it you'll like it!

Pie Pie- me-oh-my! I saw a sign one the main road for Pie-Cheese-Art-Wine and I asked Robert to turn the car around and go back! And he did~ love me some pie! The art shop was closed, but I was really all about the pie! I was momentarily tempted by a loganberry wine slushie, but I wanted to see the cafe menu first before indulging in wine. I ended up with hot apple cider instead! We all shared the following: Chicken pot pie- oh my! A little more celery forward than what I usually like- but the flavors were very balanced and I loved it, even the crust Marion berry pie- hmmmm, I LOVED this pie made with local berries Loganberry pie- another hit, but I liked the marion berry pie more. This one was a little more tart Apple Cider- very hot, and like drinking a cup of leaves changing colors, pumpkin patches, hay rides and bon fires. If I was home, I would have added a splash of somethin-somethin Bourbon latte- heavenly smooth latte Plus~ the ladies behind the counter taking our order were so nice! Demetria (I hope I got that right) was fantastic!!!

If you are ever in Whidbey island, Washington you must go to Greenbank and visit Greenbank Farm and the barn with all of the fabulous wines they have. Holly was extremely knowledgeable and is a great storyteller. Her charcuterie boards were excellent. My wife and I will be there sometime in the future.

I love this place. There's a few cute shops and restaurants. The shops are fun to browse and the food at the restaurants are decent enough, but the property is absolutely stunning. There is a beautiful pond, expansive meadows, a garden, and the building itself is gorgeous. There's great outdoor seating. I also highly recommend venturing into the fields to pick some blackberries when they're in season.

The pie, coffee and space is amazing. The staff is rude and unwelcoming. We've been coming here for the past 7 years. Hopefully they won't be there next year.

Best pies ever, hands down! We live in Everett, so whenever I have a chance to go to Whidbey (or know someone who is)- this is a required stop. The pies are pricey but so quality and fresh! It is definitely worth it (and maybe a good thing for my wallet it's not so close by). My favorite is their Marionberry pie. Not too sweet and tart, loaded with berries and their flaky crust is nothing i've had before. They also sprinkle the top crust with coarse brown sugar that adds this sweet and light crunch to each bite- yyummm! I normally by multiple fresh pies and saran wrap them at home to freeze and save for later (that's how much i love them!)- and they maintain their flavor after defrosting and baking! Always a hit. Highly recommend. Their pie varieties are seasonal and they are found in limited and select grocery stores on Whidbey only.

We went on a Friday in late September. The art gallery was closed. The samosa place was awful. The gardens are nice. Might be a lot better in the summer.

Hard pass. Nothing to recommend. Lunch took forever and was eggh. Cheese shop not interesting. Wine shop boring. Both worth the time to visit.

Delicious pie and a delightful wine tasting! We did the flight of wine. So glad we did! The ambiance was amazing. We bought 3 bottles of wine. Be sure to t ry the Huckleberry wine! So many choices of pie. It was a hard decision! You could get a slice, baked pie or frozen pie. Next time I want to try the Whidby pie shop in Langley!

Interesting, but not impressive. This is a large complex comprising of several barns in Greenbank. There is an outdoor garden (nothing super special), a cheese store, and a small pie shop. The food is average, the pie has potential, but at the end of the day its simply something that doesn't excite. If you're here for the outdoor hiking and playing with your dog you might enjoy the space, but if you're stopping in as a tourist while commuting either to Coupeville or Langley, this is a one hour rest stop, a quick use of the restrooms, maybe a bite of pie and then a continuation onward. I guess I would say visit the Cheese shop. They did have some unique cheeses there but you could also find them off island with a little bit of poking.

Great farm property with a wine shop, pie shop, gift shop, farm trails, and garden with pond. The tripleberry and apple pie slices we had from Whidbey Pies were super good. We enjoyed walking around the property. There's also a cheese shop that has some postcards and magnets as well. On our way out, we pulled over and walked up to the long-haired cows behind the fence. They were so cute and walked up toward us and we took photos of them. Be careful not to make any sudden movements or you may scare them away. But they would come back cautiously. Cutest thing ever. I'm obsessed with them.

Shelby and Cathy in the wine shop are knowledgeable and friendly--my partner and I wine tasted and ordered food from old spots bistro, the beef pot pie and ling cod sandwich were delicious then we even ordered a pizza from the wine shop--so tasty !

I love this little countryside gem of mixed venue. The pie shop, tucked alongside the pond, has indoor and outdoor seating. Good coffee, lovely pies with delicate crusts. Some soups, quiche, sandwiches, salads round out a limited, but well prepared menu. The art stores and sculpture garden have some really good pieces and lots of affordable gifts. But my personal favorite is the cheese store. Huge array of yummy cheeses and all sorts of other edibles. Conveniently, there's a wine shop as well. The huge off-leash area is bounded on the north to woods with hiking trails, and all with beautiful views of the water. One of my favorite stops on Whidbey Island.

I've been out to Greenbank Farm several times over the years. It's one of my favorite places to take visitors. The Farm itself gets five stars, but I've been unable to find a way to rate the cheese shop itself. The two stars is for the cheese shop on the farm. The lady that runs it is very standoffish and doesn't seem to enjoy what she does. Also, if you buy anything from there, double check the expiration dates! The last time I was there this September, I browsed the bargain basket she had by the front door and bought a can of organic chickpeas. Today I grabbed the can off the shelf to use and felt a soft spot. Odd, I thought. Cans shouldn't have soft spots. I check the bottom of the can and nearly fell through the floor. The can expired FOUR YEARS AGO. She either isn't doing her due diligence at checking the expiration dates or she just dgaf. Given her attitude, she should probably retire. A few months is one thing, but years is another. I will still bring people out to the Farm. But they will be warned about the cheese shop. I will never buy anything from there again, myself. There isn't anything sold in there I can't find elsewhere in one form or another, and probably for much cheaper.

Nice place to visit - well maintained trail through the woods, water views, and an excellent small restaurant. The place is known for pies, and also had excellent salads. Seating inside or on a large patio. A good stop if you're exploring Whidbey.

Greenbank is one of those places that sits on the main road SR 525 but far away enough that it piques your interest to check out the giant red barn that says WHIDBEY 1904. Back in 1904 this hub served as a grocery store, berry farm, a deli and access to a post office. Did you know that this was once the largest loganberry farm in the world? Loganberries, black berries and red currants grew here in a remote past. Instead of berries there are a lot of solar panels soaking up the rays for their solar farming project, an education center, art shops, a cafe, a wine tasting room and a cheese shop with a variety of gifts (very pricey but cute). The cheese shop had a lot of cool touristy stuff (stuffed octopus - totally random) with kitschy crap and foodstuffs, including those old school gum cigarettes that you can blow a puff of flour "smoke" as you chew gum that's hard as heck (think Hubba Bubba); candied larvae worms, scorpions in lollipops and other weird bug flavors. The lady in the cheese shop ignored us and that was OK because I was not about to buy anything there. I tried some of the wines in the Wine Shop. Tastings were $5 for small but tasty pours. I ended up buying three bottles of fruit wines. The art shops were nice but pretty sedate. Lots of textiles and yarny things. People inside were really nice. From Loganberries to Solar Farming, times have changed... Visited back in July of 2015.

Great little place, drove by and thought we would take a peek. Wine was great, and we took a little walk down through the galleries. Beautiful gardens and pond, just a nice place to take a load off. Looks like it would be fun for a wedding or event too.

We have been coming here for many years. Sadly, the cafe is now closed and is only selling pies now. The wine store is still open and we make it a point to stop by whenever we spend the weekend on the island. They have a nice selection of local and international wines. We always look for wines from the island and unique gifts for wine-loving friends. Staff are always nice and friendly. The grounds are beautiful and they welcome guests and their four-legged family members as well.

The service was bad, incompetent. The food was poorly prepared and presented. After trying to eat, my family and I went somewhere else to get an adequate meal.

Beautiful farm and yummy pies! Both the Apple and cherry pies that we ordered tasted very good. I loved that they had reusable utensils. The big downside - the coffees we ordered were outright cold. Not even warm! There wasn't even an option to reheat the coffees easily. I would definitely return for the pie, but would not order coffee here.

Came back today after our first trip a few years ago. Still the same great vibe and amazing pies! They also have an off leash dog trail area that was so much fun!

After all that, they did not void my transaction. Still billed me for the food I never received even though the manager swore she cancelled the transaction. So fraud as well as incompetence - stay far away.

Greenbank Farm is a wonderful place to bring family, friends, and even your dogs!! It includes beautiful scenery of fields filled with purple and yellow flowers and outstanding flower filled gardens! So pretty here, I would have loved to stay all day long!!! Definitely recommend coming here!

Cute farm. There is a cafe to eat lunch. Great homemade pies. Wine tasting. A beautiful outdoor garden area with pond and picnic tables to enjoy the beauty. A walking trail that has an off leash dog area. What else could you ask for! Oh yeah ART!

Hubs and I had spent a full day exploring Whidbey Island and started heading south to catch the ferry back to Mulkiteo when we stumbled upon this farm off of route 20. They've got a great array of solar panels, presumably to power the various buildings onsite. One is a wine tasting room with an adjacent pie bar, another is a cool market with artisanal cheeses, jams, jellies, hot sauces, etc., and a third building showcases lots of objets d'art. We picked up two bottles of local rieslings, and a bottle of pear wine. Quaint, quaint, quaint! If you have some spare time and nowhere particular to rush to, this place is a nice little diversion!

We visited this cute wine tasting room on a trip to Whidbey and we were glad we did! The wines are $1 to taste and they've a vast selection. We picked up one of the most refreshing bottles of chardonnay and for a good price that Seattle can't beat. Customer service is everything and this place has got it. The hostess was warm and made good conversation. I even left my purse and they promptly mailed it back to me safely within the week! I don't know a lot of businesses that would go that extra mile for their customers. Definitely going back for its amazing people and wine.

As recommended by a friendly Washingtonian, we attempted a visit. Be aware, although hours are posted, there is no guarantee all attractions will be open. Perhaps we arrived during "off season". Recommend to arrive earlier in the day if you want to hit the Whidbey Pie Cafe or Greenbank Farm Wine Shop and Tasting Room. Art galleries were wonderful to peruse and we thoroughly enjoyed some cranberry chipotle cheese from the Greenbank Cheese shop. It is s beautiful area to walk around the garden, roam on hills and relax. It's so beautiful on Whidbey and this is just part of that beauty. We visited there last summer on such a beautiful summer day. The alpacas were running around and biting each other's butts, the ducks were chasing after me and the seagulls were pretending to be ducks lounging in the pond. They had some sort of craft fair that day and it sort of sucked because they wouldn't let us in to see the crafts unless we paid a fee... LAME. So, we ventured into the wine area. Now, I'm not into wine at all but we paid our little tasting fee and went at it. We tasted the loganberry wine and that was soooo yummy! They also had a guava wine which I had to ask how in the heck did they make that? I wanted to hear some secret ninjafly business about them growing guavas somewhere on the island which was top secret ninjafly stuff... BUT, nope, they got their guavas from Hawaii and made the wine in Washington... BORING! haha! Just kidding. The guava wine was actually one of my favourites! Anyway, we drank a bunch and purchased a ton o' wine. We had a suitcase full of wine when we went back to Hawaii. I also stopped by the pie shop next door and they have THE BEST homemade pies!!!! Loganberry, blackberry... you name it, it was there. I hope to go back again one day.

Great spot for walking a dog, baby, or spouse! We didn't walk into any of the art stores, or the cheese shop, but did get some coffee and pies at the restaurant to go. We were there mid January and the restaurant was packed (small place), so if you want to go there, go early, or just plan to wait.

This is a great destination for a weekend daytime getaway from the Seattle area by ferry. There are lots of unique artworks displayed in the galleries and there was a holiday craft fair with local artisans going on in the month of December. There is a wine shop that provides income for the farm and a pie shop that also seems to serve soups and salads. There are trails you can walk on throughout the farm. This would be a good place to go with kids.

Went for the wine tasting and was disappointed in the selection, they didn't have a great red wine selection to try, and it was $1 per taste. Small selection of bottles for sale and the farm didn't have too much else to offer besides and art gallery and a small fridge of produce from the farm. Plus Whidbey Pies cafe which I will review on their own Yelp page.

Greenbank Farm is nice to explore. They have wine tasting, art galleries and shops. You can have a picnic on the grass or just walk around.

Yum! Yum! Yum!! Great recommendation on Bring Fido! We had the roasted turkey sandwich with pears and cheese. Great combo!! Then we shared the salted caramel apple pie and a Marionberry pie! Talk about delicious!!! I would make the 2 hour drive again to have it! Super dog friendly place with trails and they let them in the shops. Such a beautiful place and we had a great experience. The pups loved being included!!!

Meh. First the good. It's a pretty place with pleasant ambience. We had lunch there on a nice sunny day. Sat outside at a picnic table. They have various pies that you can order by the slice or whole to go. Had rhubarb and it was tasty. On that alone, I would have given the place 4 stars. BUT THEN WE HAD LUNCH. 2 of us ordered the "seafood stew." I use parenthesis because my stew was big chunks of potato and very small piece of cod. What was missing were the mussels and the shrimp that were listed the menu. Opt d for the bowl size, which was pretty small, other than the chunks of the aforementioned potatoes. Might be the worst case of false advertising in food I've had. My father and brother both commented on this before I had a chance to say anything. They offer a quart of this floating potato bath to go. Lucky we didn't go this route. I can't imagine anyone opting for this if they have had it before. To try and end on a positive note, the employees were pleasant. I just wish they would have warned us about the "seafood stew" which really is zero stars.

The farm is amazing! Great views on top of the hill on the walking trails, yummy pie, wine tasting and my favorite, the cheese shop. Wide variety of all kinds of foods and fun items. I got a great dress there that I wear all the time. The farm is a wonderful place to visit for an afternoon. I want to make one note on people complaining about expiration dates at the cheese shop, they have a discount section in the front with sample jars and expired items, that's why they are discounted. Nothing in the store that are full priced items are expired. Just felt I should help clarify! I highly recommend visiting the farm and all its wonderful shops!

I used to be regular here. So anyone with fond memories of eating here in the past, things have changed. I was talked rudely to and won't be back for awhile. I used to get seafood chowder and fresh bread. Now the bread is an up charge and service must be extra. We all occasionally ask for something and then find out we don't care for it right? I asked for bread and when it came it differed from what they used to make/serve. I talked to the server and let her know I didn't want it because it wasn't what I was expecting. She explained that they use a different vendor now. She said so in a very rude tone. After being talked rudely several times and rushed to make an order, I felt more like cattle than an experience. Now more of a tourist trap. It's too bad, I used to love this place.

We love this place! We love to stop for lunch tour the shops and of course get extra pie for breakfast! We discovered they have GLUTEN FREE PIES, the crust is amazing (think best pie ever, you wouldn't even know you were eating GF). This was a huge hit with my Mom who can't remember the last time she had pie.

Actually a cool place but the restaurant is really small and the seating cramped with outdated tables and chairs. Also the staff seems over stressed and not fairy well organized.
