GreenBlue Beach Hostel

The beach here is great and less crowded than other spots nearby. We were originally going to stay for 2 nights but extended another 2 because we enjoyed the location so much. Service was good, but not because of the owner or manager. The staff that volunteer here are very sweet and caring. Unfortunately the owner and manager is another story. We had a small incident happen due to how the soap dispenser is placed right above the sink and shower. It is extremely heavy and slippery when wet, bound to fall. And it did, hitting the sink and chipping it off, also managing to cut my finger. We reported it right away to the manager. He didn't bother hearing our concern or the fact that it could of been worse and landed and fractured my foot. All we got is a nice bill for $60 for the chipped sink at the end of the stay.

Incredibly rustic. Expensive, basic bungalow accommodation. Beautiful location on the beach, hammocks in the ocean. Tranquil. Leaky roof during thunderstorm, everything wet. Only cold water in the bathroom. No airconditioning, fan only. Construction site next door made noise even 4am in the morning. Bedding smelled sweaty - not clean? Breakfast very small and basic - did not have mozzarella as mentioned on menu, still paid $2 extra for Turkish breakfast. Don't ask for 2nd cup of tea, you will pay extra for that too.

Location: amazing Service: lacking - management is struggling to keep the place nice (shower is a mere cold trickle, wi-fi is non existent, our particular bungalow was not ready with basics such as bath towels nor a bed cover sheet/blanket, we heard the management arguing with staff and customers). Music: modern good taste, if you want to hear it all day, and well into the night. Overall: poor value for money in high season (we visited over the December holiday season).

Some of the best food available on the island. Had a little bit of everything from the menu and ate here almost daily. The turkish food is a delicious and welcome change. So much flavour! Nice owners and staff. Cute dogs and kitties too! The pictures may not be the best but I assure you, the food never disappointed.

This Resort is horrible. The owners have an aggressive dog, who cheats or snarls at any one of the past people. This is the only one resort in koh rong samloem that close the electricity at 00:00 at Night, no Fan and nothing works, you can't go to toilet or anything else, its completely dark. We changed after the first day, the resort, it gives a lot of lower price resorts around with electricity 24/7, with friendlier service and without aggressive dogs. Very bad, because the location of the bungalows is fantastic, beautiful sea-view.

Good Food however way to expensive compared to the other places on the island. Downside is the unfriendly owner. Haven't stayed there for sleeping but prices for rooms are far away from fair. You definitely get nice bungalows for better rates on the island. Not really recommended.

They had a problem with staff. It was not clean. The bathroom/ shower did not function. If you took a shower the water had no where to go. So it just pooled around the toilet. Thus you always had wet feet when you went to the toilet. Design and location of the bungalow was very nice but the upkeep terrible. Not for lack of trying.

Beautiful location right in the center however it was empty and didn't understand why. I quickly realized why I was alone and it was because of a staff member. The woman there Burscu was not friendly. She would yell at the other staff member Stephan and even customers constantly and it was an uncomfortable feeling to be there. I hope the owner sees that she is not fit to be in the customer service industry. Again beautiful location, basic hostel but can be super chilled if it was ran correctly
