Greenhills Country House Hotel & Restaurant

After researching hotels in Jersey l saw this hotel, read the reviews on Tripadvisor and decided to book. I definitely made the right decision without a doubt! Greenhills Country House Hotel was everything we could have wished for and more!|From the minute we arrived until we left we were made welcome by the wonderful staff. Nothing was too much trouble and their customer service was outstanding. ||The hotel is set in a quiet country lane in the middle of the island and, on arrival, it definitely had the wow factor. The building and surrounding gardens are stunning and the pool is probably the warmest l have ever been in! The hotel, including the pool, is kept spotlessly clean. Pool towels are provided.||We had requested a ground floor room with a walk-in shower due to our mobility issues, we were not disappointed! The bedroom was very tastefully decorated, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a large walk-in shower. |Our room opened up onto the pool area which had a beautiful view of the gardens.||The breakfasts are superb. Cereals, pastries, full English breakfast (Country Breakfast as it’s called on the menu), plus other hot choices. |In the evening, we ate in the bar as we can only manage one course. The food was excellent. The Thai curry was the best l have ever tasted as was the Burger, which was locally produced. I am not a burger fan but my husband said it was excellent so l tried it. The taste was absolutely fantastic, pure beef and no fat! I do not think l will ever eat a more tasty burger!||All the staff made us feel very welcome. The General Manager Carmelita was very hands on, l do not know where she gets her energy from! Every day she would greet us by name and ask if everything was ok. ||We have travelled around the world and stayed in excellent hotels. We would highly recommend Greenhills Country House Hotel it really is fantastic.

Just love this hotel. The staff are the most friendly and helpful people who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The quality of the food is outstanding and housekeeping is just perfect. This is our second stay here and has to be our favourite hotel and will definitely be returning again. Thank you to Carmelita and the staff for making our stay just perfect

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. I am 68 years old and have stayed in more hotels than most people. The staff were excellent and went the extra mile to make our stay so comfortable. We only ate at the hotel the food was absolutely fantastic we will definitely be going back and would recommend this establishment to everyone. The grounds it stands in is quite and exceptionally well kept

We have enjoyed 9 days in this comfortable Hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful whilst being efficient. The room has been comfortable and well designed. We chose not to hire a vat and used taxis and buses to get around Jersey as well as walking. The restaurant and bar menu is excellent. We dined here 9 nights and all of our choices were delicious. Totally recommend this beautiful hotel .

One of the best and most memorable hotels I’ve stayed in recently, primarily because of the wonderful staff and service. It’s a short drive from the airport and not really surrounded by any other amenities, but everything you could want is in the hotel and the small grounds are lovely. There is a small outdoor pool which is closed in the winter months but it would be a great space to relax with a book in the summer. Checking in was a delight and really welcoming. Despite arriving early in the morning they were happy to let me have access to the room which was on the first floor, overlooking the front of the hotel. There wasn’t an elevator so best to contact the hotel before staying if that’s likely to pose an issue. The room was spacious and decorated beautifully, with a really homely feel. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and the complimentary bottled water was a nice touch, as well as the drink making facilities you’d expect as well as a few snacks. The bathroom was equally as spacious and clean with decent storage space. The shower was over the bath and had decent power with pleasant bottled toiletries provided. On the ground floor there’s a bar, small lounge area and restaurant - having a few drinks and a meal there had to be one of the highlights of the stay. The staff are really attentive (admittedly maybe too much) and drinks are served quickly. There’s a small food menu offered in the bar but the menu in the restaurant is great. I’d only intended to have a small meal before bed but the quality of food and presentation, along with the setting, meant just kept ordering! The pre-meal bread & oil, scallop starter, pheasant main, chocolate ganache desert and even post-meal cheese were all perfect. Far from cheap but worth every penny. I was almost sad to be checking out the following day and only staying the one night. Next time I’m in Jersey I’ll be staying here again.

I travelled to Jersey with my Mum to help her recover from some recent medical treatment. We picked Greenhills as it offered a little bit of luxury. It was a lovely hotel with kind and attentive staff, good facilities and excellent food. The decor and setting of the hotel is absolutely charming.

Greenhill Country House Hotel,  they go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable and stress free, the staff are very accommodating and always have a smile. We had a fabulous stay and would go back..The rooms are exceptional with a tastful design and the garden is beautiful. I would highly recommend the Greenhill Country House Hotel and would like to stay a special thank you to Carmelita Fernandes for helping us during our stay. We stayed 10 days ago in April

We had a lovely weekend at the Greenhills Countey House Hotel. The service was excellent, we felt welcome from the start and would definitely go back. The rooms were nice and very clean. The food was delicious and we would really recommend eating in! Thanks again for a wonderful time - Tom and Portia
