Beautiful hotel. Truly eco with plants all over. Service is attentive and welcoming Room was comfortable . There is no hairdryer in the room though. Nonetheless, the front desk was able to find one for me after the 2nd day. Indeed very thoughtful. Breakfast is a good selection of western and local cuisine. The area is at the heart of several interesting boutiques and cafes with wall art all over.

This hotel really live up to their name. Located right in the tourist area, a minute walk or so, from the entrance of the alley (Prawirotaman II). Hotel was unique, surrounded by the greenie, like you're staying in a very comfy glass house. Pool surrounded by the the dining area on Ground Level. Looks like they've got 2 buildings, with more than 300 rooms. There's plant nursery area and mushola by the rooftop. Pretty cool, I'd say. You could buy some from them as well. Room was decent. We've had one room with King (or probably Queen bed) that was alright. Room doesn't include with fridge. Bathroom was clean and decent. I like the overall themed on the room. Was the mixed of rustic and brutalist. But clean! And this is extra point for me. Room service is available till 9.30. but if you'd like wondering around, lots of local bar and restaurants with just 1-2 mins walk. Place seems surrounded by western tourist with variety types of restaurants. Definitely a plus point! Staff were amazing, helpful, friendly and informative. There's a mosque right next to the hotel. And when we're there, Subuh (the first praying time of the day was around 4 AM). So If you're a light sleeper, don't forget to put your earplugs in.

If you’re going to Yogyakarta, I encourage you to book Greenhost. The price is super reasonable. The location is great, nice restaurants in the surrounding lanes, good massage around too. In the city centre, so most tours can pick you up from here. The hotel is beautiful, lots of photo spots. The staff is very nice. I booked the basic room but it has everything you might need (Except a hairdryer). Overall I love this hotel, it’s very warm and the green really makes you feel like you’re in a nice holiday resort.

We had a wonderful stay at Greenhost Hotel in Yogyakarta! ||The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a mix of local treats like jamu and plenty of Indonesian and Western options. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for exploring the city, and we loved the street behind the hotel, which is full of great spots for drinks and food. Highly recommended!

Yeah you can call me victim of the film :D |But the unique of this hotel will make you fall in love. The green thematic is so comfy. This theme is applied consistently in whole hotel.||The wooden theme in room was so relaxing. I think they mix both nature and industrial theme which for me is cool combination.||The parking lot is main concern especially if the guests bring their own vehicle. It will effect the corridor inside which not to spacious but for me with my backpack, it was not a problem for me.||A good, silent, and unique ambiance hotel. Come to have it :)

This is the 4th time we stayed here. On the website it states that it is for adults only. On our last day there were 7 kids in the pool and several kids having breakfast. So the information on the website isnt true. For sure we are not coming back here again. When we asked the employer about it he said that the guest with kids didnt read the website. So it now also means that we can smoke even its a non smoking hotel? We got a piece of cake for the inconvenience

This review is long overdue but I definitely write it because Pak Koco and Mba Erdian deserve it. These two really make the stay worthwhile and I am do grateful to cross paths this them. Location of the hotel in so prime, right it the heart of the current hip area of Jogjakarta. Opposite the hotel there is a laundry shop, easy peasy. If you ever have the choice to choose the big room, go for the big room. I think it must be recently built because it is on separate building, it’s new and most importantly there is a partition in the bathroom so your bathroom will remain dry even after you shower. The water heater works perfectly, i probably shower 4 times a day cos I enjoy being in it so much (also humidity outside). Aircon works perfectly too. Overall, yes yes, highly recommend and ALWAYS choose the big rooms.

- breakfast options were good - pool was fantastic and maintained very well - prices were affordable for food - twin rooms were tight for 2 people and bathroom was small. Water pressure for the shower was small and the room AC was very weak so room became stuffy. - massage was too gentle and they only had couple rooms without a face hole in the massage bed. Very unsatisfactory and would recommend to do it elsewhere. - gym is quite small so would recommend going early Overall: decent and good location
