Disappointing Stay – Only the View is Good!
We stayed at Greenlands Hotel for 4 days and booked a premium room, but our experience was far from premium.
• Room Issues: On the first day, we were given a ground-floor room where the geyser was not working. We waited for 2 hours as they kept saying a plumber was coming. Finally, after much frustration, they shifted us to the room we had originally booked, wasting half our day. Even in the final room, the washroom smelled bad, and basic amenities like a toiletries stand, wiper, and stool were missing. The bucket and mug were full of stains, which was quite unhygienic.
• Noise & Cleanliness Issues: The hotel has a kitchen near the rooms, leading to constant utensil noises, making it hard to relax. Cleanliness was also poor around the kitchen area.
• Disturbance from Dogs: The property has three dogs that barked throughout the night, and shockingly, no staff member bothered to control them.
• Food & Tea Quality: The food was below average, and the tea was outright pathetic—even railway tea is better!
• Travel Reference Disaster: The hotel recommended a traveler contact named Peter, who initially promised a sedan but sent a hatchback instead. To make matters worse, the driver lacked basic humanity, making our travel experience unpleasant.
The only good thing about this place is the view, but that alone does not justify the poor service, lack of hygiene, and overall mismanagement. Would not recommend this place at all!
