Greenleaf Guesthouse & Tour

Great tour and guest house. The accommodations are modest but perfectly comfortable (and cheap!). Warm showers, screens, clean. The food at the restaurant is standard delicious cheap Thai food. The tour was awesome. Our guide was legit running through the woods trying to find animals in her scope for us, and then take pictures with our phones through the scope. She would be so pumped when she got a good shot hahahaha. Sadly didnt see elephants but we saw gibbons, hornbills, otters, snakes, and a gaur! And truly cant beat the price of this tour. (I think for two of us, including transport from bangkok, 2 nights lodging, all our food, and the tour it was like $100 each.) Highly recommend.

My wife and I did the half day tour and the full day tour the next day, staying for 1 night at the guesthouse in between. We did not get to see the elephants, but honestly I have no complaints. We still saw many cool animals and plants, and learned a lot about them from our guides. They were also super organized, and always on schedule. They made sure everyone in the group was well taken care of throughout the experience. The room at the guesthouse was simple, but clean and comfortable, and the food they served was delicious. 100% worth the price, would recommend to anyone visiting the park.

I spent one night at Greenleaf Guesthouse and I enjoyed my stay there. The people were lovely and the food was very good. The room was basic, but had everything that you needed and was extremely cheap considering. If you are used to luxury or need AC, this might not be the option for you, but I really enjoyed it. I did the full-day tour with Gan and can highly recommend it! I had an incredible time and saw so many animals that I was shocked!

I had a great experience at Greenleaf Guesthouse and tours. The staff is super nice and came to pick me up at the bus stop and took me back to the train station. The rooms are big and comfortable. Food is amazing and the tours are also very nice. They were very flexible even when I decided to spend the second night camping in the park, even if I initially reserved with them,

Had a very enjoyable trip with Greenleaf - their rooms are basic but functional. The guided half day trip and full day trip are excellent. The staff are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The half day tour is mainly about bats but they also found lots of other animals and set up a telescope to see Jupiters moons. The full day tour we saw Elephants, Gibbons, Monkeys, hornbills as well as deer, 3 snakes and horned lizard. They provided us with snack drinks and lunch. Would very strongly recommend

We went back (rather my wife did…and brought me) after 9 years. Since she had a brilliant experience the first time. We booked a 1,5 day tour. With one night stay. Regarding the rooms, you get what you pay for. It’s cheap! But it works. The service before and during the stay was eminent. We had to change the date of the stay/tour very suddenly, that fixed it the same day. They provided pickup the first day, with no issues and contact to a taxi service the day after. Both the half day and full day tour were awesome. A special thanks to our guide Ghaan whose high energy, deep knowledge and enthusiasm for the topic of wildlife really made it an interesting and fun full day tour. I can recommend the food as it is very good solid homemade Thai food. They made a special dish for my wife, which we will probably spend lots of time finding the recipe for. Thank you.

We stayed here for 2 nights in December 2025. The rooms are basic but well priced and have everything you need. They offer really good food for good prices as well. The main attraction is the tours to the Khao Yai national park which were both amazing. We did the half day and the full day tour and had the best time with some very friendly and knowledgeable tour guides. Seeing the bats leaving the cave during dusk was magnificent. The full tour was also extremely well run and we got to see elephants, great hornbills, gibbons and more! The host was funny, kind and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. They even posted my battery pack to me after I left it in my room! I couldn't recommend this place more, an absolute must do when in Thailand. Thanks for the great time!

we had a fantastic experience at Greenleaf guesthouse! The rooms are simple but with everything you need for a comfortable stay, especially considering the extremely cheap price you pay for one night. The staff is really friendly and the food prepared at the local restaurant is super tasty. We took part in the half day tour (outside the park) and the full day tour (inside the park). Both were super interesting and we had the chance to see a lot of wild animals and insects, both inside and outside the park. I absolutely recommend this place for those who want to have a real Thai experience and discover all the best about Khao Yai and the surrounding area.
