Excellent selection of clothes for kids. Plus, they have shoes, small toys and children's jewelry. The prices are a little bit high, but you'll find things that aren't at bigger stores. My daughter is seven and this is one of her favorite places to stop in when we're near the Natural History Museum.

Greenstones is an excellent Upper West Side shop. They have a great selection of clothes and shoes and are very helpful. They have never steered me wrong with advice about sizing or products. They also have all kinds of little things like watches, hair accessories, and bracelets, so it is an excellent place to go if you want a Birthday gift. The owner of the store also beautifully wraps gifts which is nice because I am hopeless at it.

We've been shopping here since before I had kids for gifts for friends. Love the owners and the selection and they've grown with my children. Now they have a tasteful, yet fun tween/juniors collection that allows my oldest daughter to have her own taste without it becoming tacky. My kids get everything from beautiful classic dresses (Mayoral, Lily Gaufrette, etc.) to high end jeans and coats, to casual sundresses (Splendid, etc.), beautiful backpacks and headwear, to great under garments (Esme), here to camp clothes (Dori, Scoop, fun shorts). I've never had a problem with returns (they give store credit only), and they've been great about special orders for colors or sizes when they are able to.

Everyone at Greenstones was really patient with us as we traipsed around the city with our two- and four-year-old boys! We needed a new pair of shoes for each of them after they decided to stomp in puddles and thus couldn’t possibly wear their wet shoes, and the two people we worked with at Greenstones helped us find just the right pair for each kiddo. They were so patient as we looked through their incredible selection, got the right sizes, figured out which ones my kids would be willing to wear, and the rest of the sometimes laborious process of doing seemingly simple things like shoe shopping! We got some adorable Spider-Man snap-bracelet watches, too, and some great summer clothing. Next time we’re back in the city, this will be my go-to place with kiddos! They have something for everyone and a seriously impressive selection of clothing and gear, from infant all the way up to pre-teen!

I have been shopping here for decades. Wonderful selection of clothing and accessories and the owners are just amazing.

As wonderful a selection of ultra-stylish fashions for your or your friend's (very young) children as you can find in NYC, and with correspondingly ultra-high price tags. Best for those who want to hear "Oh, isn't that just dear!" and who are willing to pay dear just to hear it.

A lot of Mayoral kids clothes and Naturino/Falcotto kids shoes. Good selection and very helpful workers every time I’ve shopped here.

Great experience buying my granddaughter's first pair of shoes today. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff person who has been there for 15+ years. It was my first time there and I will definitely be back! So many cute clothes and things and great shoe selection. Thank you!

this location moved a few stores down! I used to go to Greenstones on the UES when my son was a little bitty thing. Yes, it is rather pricey but I am willing to pay more for unique and Europeam trendy clothing that I know is well structured and will last longer than Old Navy. The associates have been working at the company for some time and are very knowledgeable about the European clothing companies and sizing. They are very helpful and will give you the one on one attention. The new Greenstones is now in a much larger space and has designated child friendly areas. In the back of the store they do have a good selection of Italian, Spanish shoes that will be topic starters! Sign up for their sale specials and you will be the first to find out about special sales. I personally buy next seasons clothing for my son at the sales because they offer 25-50% off if not more although I would not wait until the last minute.

Poor service but a nice selection of shoes for children, especially those looking for Naturino Italian options.

Still love this store!!!! My friends are all having babies and I'm tired of all these lame kid stores and online stores. I love physically going to Greenstones and picking out the best clothes and shoes. Hands down the best customer service AND the best selection in nyc. PERIOD!!!!

One of those little boutique stores where the management does all the hard work for me by selecting and displaying (it seems) ONLY desirable merchandise. This is my only stop when looking for clothes for the little ones in my life. They carry a variety of -mostly- European brands, all of them very affordable and great quality (Mayoral, Petit Bateau,...). Again, nothing I wouldn't buy. The organization of their merchandise isn't straight forward, but I don't mind navigating this little treasure of a store.

Ok shoe selection. I have found better Naturino shoes online. I give this particular store 1 star because the employee there was not nice nor was she helpful. She did not greet my husband and I. At one point I was standing right next to her and she still didn't acknowledge me. She was super helpful however to another couple in there. I won't get into race but it appears that is why she was helpful to one family and not us. We ended up walking out and I saw a cute pair of boots I would've purchased for my daughter.

I love Greenstones. Not only can you find the most beautiful clothing, they carry lovely accessories as well. I will miss this store so much when I move.

Terrible customer service! I bought some toddler clothing 3 weeks ago and went back to the sore with a tshirt that its colors faded all over. The owner kept explaining me that I washed it not according to the washing instructions. I told him I am not interested in money back but if he could take it and show it to the manufacture because it's really bad product. After he kept arguing I left the shirt in the store and will never buy there again.

Bad service and product. Purchased a shirt to my daughter and after one wash the color faded. The owner was rude and unhelpful. Will never buy there again even if it is on 90% discount unless I am looking for a one day use.
