Greenwood Community Center

Wonderful community Hall! We come here for dances. The building has been upgraded substantially since we first set foot in there 35 years ago!! Plenty of chairs and tables available. Two clean, modern restrooms downstairs, as well as one upstairs. The A/C was working well, on a warm summer evening. The parking lot had just been repaved, and was nice and smooth.

🍑🌻 Weekend Getaway in Nature 🌻🍑 What an amazing weekend! I had the chance to visit this beautiful farm filled with juicy peaches, sunflowers, and peaceful mountain views. The fresh fruit straight off the tree was delicious, and walking through the sunflower field with misty mountains in the background felt like a dream. 🌿 Perfect spot for relaxing, taking photos, and connecting with nature. Highly recommend visiting if you’re looking for a refreshing escape from the city!

What an amazing community center, bringing connection and recreation for over 50 years. So grateful the Greenwood community center exists. It is a wonderful place for the Cville Dance co-op to host our special event Ecstatic Dances on Sunday morning once a month.

Greenwood Community Center is a great facility and they do an excellent job making use of the space they have. It’s clear the community center is important to the area and offers a lot of value. That said, one staff member’s attitude really detracts from the experience. There is a larger woman who works there who consistently comes across as rude and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, her demeanor makes the environment uncomfortable and honestly makes you think twice about returning. With friendlier customer interaction, this place could be even better.

Awsome place we had a va state wide Sharps 2 tims training class there today awsome can't say it enough the staff was great and great help look forward to doing it again

Great place to rent for skate birthday parties or just any kind of celebration. Kids and adults have fun on skate nights and movie nights! I just saw on the door they have movie nights, don't know if this is new but worth checking out!

Nice small venue. Roller skating is super cheap! They will rent the building out for private skating parties or other get togethers.

Great place for a private party. Roller skating for a decent price. Also has playground basketball court outdoor and ball field.

What a wonderful place for an event. We had a graduation party there and decided it was perfect for our reunions as well. Off the beaten path in a gorgeous nook of the woods. Great place to have something outside as well if you have children.

Large stately facility that has great potential but seems to have been neglected by current operators. Needs much updating and basic housekeeping. A regular scrubbing would go along way here. ..and whats up with that dirty brown water out of the tap, ewwwww. Great location at base of Afton Mountain. Very scenic. Could be so much nicer with some TLC.
