Probably the most social hostel I've ever been in! And really affordable too! The beds were fine, comfy enough. The bedrooms overall were decent but more mirrors would have been nice. I slept fine but got quite hot overnight. It was a tricky decision between having the windows open to stay cool and closing them to block out the sound of the traffic and trams (even with earplugs in). The toilets and showers were okay but the ratio was awful - there was just one toilet & shower for three or four rooms, each with four people in, and the sink was in the room with the shower (the toilet was on its own) which meant that you couldn't use the toilet, wash your face, brush your teeth etc without someone in the shower. This was really really annoying. Decent location, by the train station, but many other hostels in Krakow are much more central. However, the social aspect of it was fantastic - everyone was so friendly! A really mixed international community. This is mainly because everyone ate breakfast & dinner together (only one table in the kitchen so you had little choice but to sit together!). This was really lovely. Overall pros: Price, social atmosphere, free meals. Biggest con: Shower & toilet to person ratio.

Amazing, very social with the easy possibilities to go partying, but the hostel itself is quiet at night. Free breakfast and dinner give nice possibilities to meet people. And Tori is the best, very helpful!

I stayed for three nights. The room itself is ok just with quite uncomfortable beds which can be noisy when you/roommates move around in the night. The street outside can be loud even with windows closed. Unfortunately during check out I was informed that someone had vomited in my room and had told reception this was me, which was not the case. I shown the woman on reception some proof (time-stamped picture of me in bed at both 21:52 and 23:22 and a text message to my friend saying I wasn’t going out that night because I’d started my period). I also said look I can show you my bank transactions and you will find no alcohol purchases. The woman literally said to me “I don’t care, I think it was you”. I’m extremely upset by this and it has ruined my final day here in Krakow. I travelled on my own so had no one to back me up either. Be cautious staying in this hostel as this was a very unfortunate thing to happen and I’ve never had any issues elsewhere. The only pros are the free food, location and lockers.

I absolutely loved this hostel, can not recommend it enough. The free breakfast and dinner is amazing and the dinner makes a lovely atmosphere with everyone eating together, making plans and talking about their days. I met the most amazing people here and that definitely made my time in Krakow way better. It is about 5-10mins to the old town but it is a nice walk, there is also a cute cat cafe across the road. The staff were also super friendly and there was so much information with things to do around the city. Only complaint would be the mattresses seem to be very old and well used and there is an indent where people sleep, but not a big problem. 100% recommend staying here!

Perfect location. Free breakfast and dinner. Amazing service from the staff. Privacy curtains around the beds would be nice but overall an excellent hostel. Note that to enter, you have to dial 7 then the bell so the desk can let you in. Staffed 24/7.

Worst experience ever! Staff are terrible! Very poor attitude towards issues with rooms, zero problem solving skills, or any extension of assistance with issues!! Staff are condescending and have poor attitude, hiding under policy when it comes time to actually help guests and problem solve! 🙄 Try a different hostel! Avoid the the apparent glam of this one! Staff are hiding under false professionalism and don't really want to extend any real help to guests! They don't care about their guests!

Yelp
Overall a very nice hostel. My only, and biggest, complaints are: 1. The keys SUCKED. I had to be buzzed in every time because I couldn't figure out the door on the outside. There's 24h reception so not the biggest deal, but definitely annoying. 2. The staff is EXTREMELY loud and chatty in the morning. I'm a morning person but even I found the talking at full volume at 7am annoying. It was rude!!! Now, with those out of the way. I loved my stay, the wifi was reliable, dinner (free!) was amazing, and I found things to be comfortable overall. There was a nice lounge area and the kitchen was also a good place to hang out. There was free fruit available all day. Breakfast was included as well which was a nice bonus but I didn't like the food much as opposed to dinner (which I thought was objectively good). The other people there were nice. The location is close ish to central krakow, maybe a 10 min walk from the main plaza. Would stay there again if I returned.

Yelp
If I could give them a -5 I would I book a room and they send me an confirmation email we arrive from Berlin and they tell us we are too old and they have hidden that information at the very bottom of the email what a bunch of tosses they are They should be upfront it bold print every where that they age discriminate.

Yelp
I am staying at quite a few Hostels this summer and this is one of the ones for which I was most excited. Unfortunately, it was a let down. Positives: The free breakfast and dinner is AMAZING. It's full of many different options and they change it up a bit every day. I highly recommend getting it. Krakow is already so cheap and with this you can save so much. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and really nice!! You can tell the bathrooms are updated. The events offered are great -- tours to auschwitz, pub crawls, etc. You can plan your entire stay basically through this hostel! The receptionists are so nice and helpful. Cons: Bedrooms are not updated. We found a couple of cockroaches in our room, which made me wonder how clean it truly was and the beds were super hard and uncomfortable. Good sleep is important while traveling and it was hard, if not impossible to get here. The wifi was also really slow. I was not even able to download anything to have to watch on the train the day after my check out, which was a bummer. I would stay elsewhere in Krakow.

Yelp
They have signs "Best hostel in Krakow!" everywhere. It's the only hostel in Krakow I've been to, so I can compare it only to hostels from other cities. First of all, it's my first time in life when I see hostel where they include breakfast and dinner (!) in price. So basically you can survive in the city just by paying ~50 zlotych per day, it's nearly the same sum you would pay for a regular long-term rent _without_ food. I think it's an extremely good deal for tourists. The conditions of living are good but far from best. The building is old, so you have a chance to get a room which looks correspondingly to the age of the building. Personally I've experienced it when was living on the 4st floor, but they've recently started renovating there. During it I was moved to the 2nd floor, it is much much better. In general they have rooms for 4/8 people, a bathroom and a kitchen for 2-3 rooms. The security safes are present in every room and are free. But you have to pay for towels, it always pisses me off :(. The hostel is party-oriented, i.e. they are doing their best at gathering everyone in one room, making acquaintances and going to pub crawls every single day. In the evening there are usually only 3-4 people left on the floor together with current host/hostess, so it was pretty comfortable for me. Wi-Fi is slow though. To sum it up, if I'll ever need a hostel in Krakow again, I'll choose this one without any thinking.

Yelp
I have been welcomed with a coffee. Staff explained me where to go, the story of the castle of the dragon, gave me plans. Location is close enough from the center of the city. I have been offered food and drinks. Really nice place ! It is possible to book visits of the Museum of Auschwitz-Birkenau, salt mines... But it is a bit more expensive than standard.

Yelp
These guys are great! Comfortable enough dorm rooms (and a couple private rooms if desired), breakfast AND hearty dinner included (!!!), close to the main sights in Kraków (5 to 10-minute walk to Old Town), clean, with Internet. Also: VERY nice people; you'll soon be friends with everyone staying there! I'll stay here whenever I'm in Kraków.
