They have signs "Best hostel in Krakow!" everywhere. It's the only hostel in Krakow I've been to, so I can compare it only to hostels from other cities.
First of all, it's my first time in life when I see hostel where they include breakfast and dinner (!) in price. So basically you can survive in the city just by paying ~50 zlotych per day, it's nearly the same sum you would pay for a regular long-term rent _without_ food. I think it's an extremely good deal for tourists.
The conditions of living are good but far from best. The building is old, so you have a chance to get a room which looks correspondingly to the age of the building. Personally I've experienced it when was living on the 4st floor, but they've recently started renovating there. During it I was moved to the 2nd floor, it is much much better. In general they have rooms for 4/8 people, a bathroom and a kitchen for 2-3 rooms. The security safes are present in every room and are free. But you have to pay for towels, it always pisses me off :(.
The hostel is party-oriented, i.e. they are doing their best at gathering everyone in one room, making acquaintances and going to pub crawls every single day. In the evening there are usually only 3-4 people left on the floor together with current host/hostess, so it was pretty comfortable for me. Wi-Fi is slow though.
To sum it up, if I'll ever need a hostel in Krakow again, I'll choose this one without any thinking.
