Decided to try several dishes while at the bar of the restaurant. The kangaroo was good, but a touch dry. The lamb chops were great! The venison was cooked perfectly & was juicy while not being gamey at all. The service was attentive. My only complaint. is that Elk was the game meat, but I wasn't told it was. a limited supply and by the time I finished my 2 apps they were out.Pricy, but a quality meal.

Google
We had an excellent experience at Greg Norman’s. The service was truly top notch, with DJ and Bruno being very attentive and doing an outstanding job throughout our meal. The chowder instantly brought me back to my grandma’s kitchen, full of flavor and warmth. The calamari plate was enormous and absolutely delicious. For our main course, my wife and I both had the prime rib, and it was honestly some of the best we have eaten in years. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Greg Norman’s to anyone looking for great food and outstanding service.

Google
Greg Norman Australian Grille takes dining and drinking to the next level. We ate here while on vacation, and we picked it at random because of its proximity to Barefoot Landing…what a find! Waterfront and with a food (and bourbon) menu that practically seduces you into to ordering one of each item, having dinner at this Grille was one of the main highlights of our vacation. If you like bourbon, ask the front desk to seat you near Chris, and prepare to be amazed. Chris took exceptional care of us and hooked us up with some absolutely fantastic bourbon! To top it off, Chris let us view the rarest of the unicorns, ORVW 25! We closed the restaurant down and could not have enjoyed ourselves more. Incredible night!

Google
Absolutely loved this place! Nice ambient atmosphere inside, open air patio for anyone who wants to sit outside and take in the views on the waterway. Private dining rooms for for family gatherings or meetings, large bar area with comfy seating and outdoor patio. Nice lunch menu, and currently they have a dinner special for early bird 4:00-6:00 pm, 25% off your bill.

Google
We had such a great brunch experience at Greg Norman today! The meal started off with escargot and the hot crab dip, both rich, flavorful, and the perfect way to begin. For the main courses, we tried the chicken and waffles as well as the crab cake Benedict—both were absolutely delicious. I especially loved being seated outside with the beautiful view of the marina—it made the whole experience even more relaxing and enjoyable. The atmosphere was inviting, the service was attentive and friendly, and everything came together for a perfect brunch. Highly recommend!

Google
Another great dining experience! Our second visit did not disappoint. The food, drinks, service and atmosphere were amazing. Thank you to our server, Joey. He was courteous and professional. We will be back for more!

Google
This is one of those dates night fancy restaurants! The food was delicious and the majority of it was gluten free!!! Do wish they had a few more options for dinner but overall it was definitely worth the price!

Google
We had our Anniversary dinner here and it was nothing shy of amazing. My husband enjoyed prime rib and lobster, i had the BEST SALMON that i have ever put in my mouth. The wood fired taste and the bourbon glaze made it top tier! Our waiter s Zander and he was very knowledgeable of all the dishes which helped my decision to have the salmon.

Yelp
We took an Uber to Greg Norman Australian Grill. We got there just in time for our reservation. We were seated and our waitress came right over. I ordered a chocolate martini and he ordered an expensive scotch. They were delicious. We decided to share the jumbo shrimp and they were jumbo. And delicious. I liked that they had a rail to walk into the restaurant. For dinner he ordered the steak au poive and I ordered the small filet wugu style. For dessert, we ordered the blueberry crème brûlée. Everything was delicious. If you see me there, stop by and say hello.

Yelp
Great views and classy ambiance. I had the Australian Syrah and it was very good. The mahi mahi fish was mild and perfectly cooked. I enjoyed it with rice and veggies .

Yelp
We came here for lunch, don't be intimidated by the posh set up. There were patrons wearing Nordstrom and also wearing Wal-Mart. There was a family with three young children and the hostess did not blink. She simply stated, I've got a great area for you." Elegant atmosphere, not a place for boisterous behavior. We enjoyed our server, Lynn. She was polite and very helpful. We enjoyed our Sangria. We both ordered specials ~ me the wagyu beef tips with a side of mushrooms & my husband a blackened fish special. Both were completely delectable ~~ I mean shear perfection. We also decided to take the kangaroo appetizer back to where we're staying to try with our son & daughter in law. This we expected to be a bit more gamey tasting, but it was served in a delicious hash of (I believe) sweet potatoes). It was definitely worth trying.

Pamela K.

Yelp
An incredible selection of of bourbons and a lovely meal. Jarad provided us with great service. Only minus is they've changed their Pavlova and we had to send it back. Very disappointed as it was on my mind since we had it last year when it was spectacular.
google avatar

Jahmyll C.

Yelp
Food was good and so was the service. The fired calamari was very good . The Scallops and rib eye steak was good also.

Yelp
Been coming here for a couple of years, and somehow, I realized that I never got around to writing a review. Time to fix that because this place deserves my 5 stars! First time I came here, I had to try the kangaroo because how often do you get the chance to eat Australia's most famous animal? No regrets. In fact, I order it every single time I come here. It's absolutely worth trying! The escargot is delicious and I love dipping my bread in the leftover butter. I'll also steal a bit of the crab dip from my wife. On my last visit, the She-Crab Soup was the soup of the day, and apparently, it's the most requested for a reason. It's creamy, rich, and packed with flavor. Just be on the lookout for the occasional shell. The only negative experience I had was when I decided to splurge on the Wagyu steak. While it was an absolutely fantastic cut of meat (you could slice it with a butter knife), it was over-seared and soured with a burnt charcoaled crust. For the price I paid, it needs to be perfect and I wouldn't get it again. I'll stick with the prime rib, the Antarctic salmon, or the ahi tuna, all of which are solid staples of this place. Service is always excellent here and the atmosphere makes it feel like a special night out. The interior is lovely and I get to sit by the Intracoastal Waterway and ogle at fancy boats owned by people with way more money than I'll ever have. Prices are up there, but so is the quality (most of the time... looking at you, Mr. Wagyu...). I always leave full, happy, and too stuffed to even consider dessert.

Yelp
Very nice spot on the water. Huge dining room, with more dining on the water. Not for kids. We were seated quickly at a nice table. Very comfortable. Service was good and efficient. Several others assisted our server. We had the Antarctic salmon, salmon harvest signature salads, venison, and prime filet. The asparagus side was perfect. The bread basket was amazing. Prices are a bit high, but it is a very nice place. Highly recommended.

Yelp
We went to dinner to celebrate a birthday. Every single thing about the experience as wonderful. The food, the wine, the service, and the ambiance was all terrific. Our server, Xander, was the best. He took excellent care of us from start to finish. And we never felt rushed. We would highly recommend if you're looking for a nice place in NMB. We live here and there is a lot to choose from but not many have such a nice experience.
google avatar

Teddy W.

Yelp
I came here for a work event where we had 40 people attend. We got the back room and the experience was a bit mind boggling. They were able to bring all of our meals out at the right temperature, still hot... it was amazing. I got the 8oz filet with a salad, and a cocktail. Incredibly thankful to the team and we will definitely be coming back next year.
google avatar

Andrea R.

Yelp
Excellent service and great food great customer service. We even tried the kangaroo medium well delicious surprisingly

Yelp
Greg Norman Australian Grille is one of the great steakhouses. I've been visiting since 2016 and I'm always impressed. The quality of the meat is world class and the service is on point. The happy hour is noteworthy and the views - outstanding. When in NMB, don't miss out.
google avatar

Carol K.

Yelp
On our last night at Myrtle Beach, we made reservations at Greg Norman's. My brother who is a golfer recommended it as one of best steakhouses he had visited. After our meal, I would have to agree. Our party of four was seated in the huge dining room (not waterside) but the room is very comfortable and it didn't take away from a wonderful evening. Our server explained that he had worked at the restaurant for many years because the staff there is treated well. I was impressed by that. We ordered a bottle of New Zealand wine and enjoyed steaks cooked to perfection. Highly recommend although as other reviewers have noted it's an expensive treat. Save it for special occasions and you won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Rachel H.

Yelp
Absolutely DISCUSSED by how my husband, my toddler, and I were treated. We came here for a nice family dinner while on vacation. My husband has a syndrome that causes him to have a lisp while speaking. He is also just a very friendly guy. The manager is a complete judgmental absolutely horrible person who thought that my husband had "too much to drink" (while taking care of our 19 month old son, for that matter). I can say that he definitely did not and that I am completely disappointed and disgusted by the service here. The manager should not have a job at this establishment. They are LUCKY that we don't seek an attorney for this kind of discrimination against someone with disabilities.

Yelp
We eat here every chance we get and come for the Sunday brunch. The food and service were outstanding. The view is breathtaking. Thank you.

Yelp
This place is fantastic, food and service is great. This place is a must..the view is calm and beautiful.

Yelp
No idea how this place doesn't have perfect reviews. Lizzy was an AMAZING server when my wife and I went. She took careful time to go over menu options of their ambitious selections, and was FAST to attend to anything.....almost mind reading, in a good way. We had a kangaroo meat appetizer, and quite literally some of the best steaks at ANY price point. My wife and I will make it a point to go back here every time we are in Myrtle Beach, and ask for Lizzie. They even offer a military/veteran discount (not on alcohol.....Marines would run them out of business:) It's great for a date, celebration, or your whole family as long as the kiddos are well behaved. Enjoy!

Yelp
We sat at the bar and enjoyed the waterfront view. We ordered drinks and split the scallops. The scallops were very good and the drinks were good, too. We both had an old fashion--I had a New Fashioned and my husband had the traditional. I would order the traditional one in the future. We also split the pavlova for dessert. It tasted fine, but I found the brown colored bourbon cream off putting. The service, however, was impeccable!
google avatar

Alexa V.

Yelp
This restaurant was massive. It's in barefoot landing so expect a wait and a bit of a price shock. The quality was superb. We visited the bar before dinner and were blown away by the service. The bartender, waiter, and manager checked on us several times. When we sat down for dinner, our waitress was very attentive. We were a party of 9, but our food took an about 45 minutes to come out which seemed a bit long. I got the scallops which were amazing.
google avatar

Lauren Paige S.

Yelp
We came in 30 minutes before their close time without knowing, but they still sat us and were very gracious about it. The view on the patio was impeccable and so was the service. Our waiter, Zander, was perfect and when the food came out it was even better! We ordered the wagyu and the pork chop and it was all so amazing! We come to Myrtle Beach often and this was the best food we have ever had here! Def recommend!!! 10/10
google avatar

Anne G.

Yelp
Great ambiance - we were on the (heated) patio and the view of the Intracoastal was amazing. We were a large group (22) but the service was very efficient and friendly. I had the Hole in One Dip with fries. Excellent fries! Unfortunately, the meat on the sandwich was a bit dry and overcooked, hence the four stars. Willing to give it another try.

Yelp
Loved the decor and ambience. Appreciated the outdoor section looking out at water. Some interesting items on menu for those looking to experiment. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Husband thoroughly enjoyed his dish.

Chris R.

Yelp
Eaten here many times over the last few years. Old school steak house, and I mean that in the best way possible. Service is attentive, professional, and friendly. Steaks and apps are excellent. Menu hardly ever changes. It doesn't need to. The place to go in f you want a good steak. Ambiance is that old formal mahogany look, but without the stuffy attitude that goes with it. Always on my "to dine" list when in Myrtle.
google avatar

Yelp
Wonderful place !! Great food and service. My family goes there for Thanksgiving Dinner and no one spends time in the kitchen. We don't have to cleanup!!! We highly recommend Greg Norman's.
google avatar

Wendy W.

Yelp
Great table with fabulous view! Delicious sirloin steaks and baked potatoes! Service was excellent! I highly recommend!
google avatar

Gloria K.

Yelp
I think it's a gem in Myrtle Beach with options for dining soch as waterfront inside or out, bistro tables or large leather curved booths, private room, bar, intimate fireplace seating inside or out with a good menu and great specials. I enjoy their escargot and ravioli with salad or seasonal seafood special the most. Service is always great and the place is very nice! Best of all is that I can usually get in due to the size and the misconception that it's expensive. The prices are very fair. I hesitated too long to write them a five star review not wanting ot to get too crowded:)!

Yelp
Kindly consider offering a decent non alcoholic beer to your drink offer. https://www.foodandwine.com/best-nonalcoholic-beers-in-america-best-of-craft-beer-awards-2025-11699944

Yelp
I still have mixed feelings about this place. Was invited here for a drug rep dinner. The establishment is pretty lavish and decent. We were in a conference type room off the lobby to the right. One thing I thought was funny was the photos of the owner all over the wall. I've never heard of this guy so for me it came off as pretentious but I guess if you're a fan it'll be cool. The tv was way too small for the presentation. The food was very good and fresh and a highlight for sure. I got the lobster ravioli and I've genuinely never had ravioli so FULL of seafood and no filler. I looked up the price and it's $40. Is it worth that? I honestly don't know! It was very, very rich and amazing. But that's a steep price. Cheesecake we had was generic and forgettable. I did enjoy the salad and would recommend that it wasn't just a plain cop out salad it had unique ingredients and seemed special. The staff were incredibly friendly and handled our large group pretty well. I also got a Long Island and could've had a lot more if I didn't fear looking like a fool in front of peers. Very, VERY well made! Alcohol snuck up on me as tends to be the case with Long Islands. Overall, I loved my meal but after seeing the menu prices I can safely say I'll never go again unless it's free. If you're waddling around from a bulky wallet yes I recommend this place. If you're like me and on a budget, there's other cheaper alternatives (and local as well). Local dining is more authentic and supports real, local people.

Yelp
Did not have a good experience from the start. The hostess started off with asking my sister, "Can I help you?" in kind of an ill mannered tone. She seemed to have looked down on us the whole time. Eventually we said we wanted to eat here and she insisted that there was a sold out restaurant in a bit and that there was only seating outside or at the bar. It was really hot weather, very humid today and we had 3 kids that would have a hard time sitting up there. We insisted we couldn't do any of those options and the restaurant looked very empty at that time. The hostess looked annoyed and kept saying there's nothing they could do. We started to say that we'd just decide not to eat here until she said that she'd ask up at the front. She came back and said they'd put tables together for us. Until the very end of our dinner, we must've gotten there around 5:30 and left by 7 -- the restaurant remained pretty empty despite them saying they were sold out of tables because of reservations. This kind of already gave us a bad taste in our mouth from the beginning. They also have this weird charge for sharing food that we felt kind of afraid of. Since we're a family, we like sharing each other's food sometimes. Especially one kid being 2. We would just get afraid we'd get charged $25 the entire time. Didn't even get my water refilled attentively despite the not busy restaurant. The food was honestly mediocre. It wasn't exactly bad, but it wasn't amazing for the price we paid. Definitely paying for the name of the restaurant not the experience. Would not recommend coming here, especially after reading some of the other reviews agreeing that staff is horrendous.

Yelp
Went for dinner before the show at The Alabama Theater. Ordered the 14oz Rib Eye along with a baked potato The place is nice and has plenty of employees just like good restaurants used to be so service in general is good It is pricey but good
google avatar

Dan I.

Yelp
2nd time here, much better in the summer sitting outside by the river. Always good food. I asked for a steak with more fat in it, the kitchen delivered the perfect steak. No complaints at all.
google avatar

Tonja T.

Yelp
They never disappoint! Sunday brunch was delicious. My husband enjoyed the shrimp and grits. I thoroughly enjoyed my steak and eggs with grits. The mimosas are top notch as well! My husband's Bloody Mary was amazing...it doubled as an appetizer bc it it included a charcuterie on a skewer! The service was top notch!
google avatar

Amy S.

Yelp
Beautiful and inviting atmosphere. Comfy chairs and seating. Lovely and knowledgeable wait staff. Started with crab dip. Not good! In fact, we couldn't even eat it. Weird texture and flavor. And we normally love crab dip! Next came all the steaks! Prime rib, ribeye, and wagyu filets. They were all cooked to perfection. The prime rib was tender and delicious. The baked potatoes were fluffy and delicious. For dessert we enjoyed the tart and the amazing passion fruit crème brûlée. 4 stars because of the terrible crab dip. Plus, I truly do not think the EXORBITANT prices were in alignment with the food. Could've gotten most of the same things at Outback Steakhouse for half the cost. Good experience, but probably will not return due to the insane prices (at least $50 per entree). But hey, if that's not an issue for you, I'd highly recommend.
google avatar

Emilee J.

Yelp
LOVELY experience at Greg Norman's! Some of the most beautiful seating from our trip and just the nicest outdoor area overlooking the water and boats. Pricey as to be expected but overall worth the visit. Ambiance conquered all and some meals thrived more than others. The filet was delicious, as was the pork chop. Prime rib was just okay and the lasagna had a great taste just not necessarily what I anticipated. Wonderful for special occasions and a must-stop for newbies to the Myrtle area.
google avatar

Jimmy C.

Yelp
Had lunch (Father's Day) today. Service was as spot on, food was mediocre and prices through the nose. That's ok with me. What I had a problem with was the wine service. Improper opening and a poor quality presentation. If you're going to command high prices I expect high end service. Proper wine presentation and not a bottle that's been demolished by the wine cellar. Granted if this was a 30 year old wine I wouldn't expect the label to be pristine. But this is current vintage. Hey somm, teach your staff and don't serve a guest something that looks this bad. Note- 2nd bottle had perfect label.
google avatar

Jessica P.

Yelp
Overpriced. Light on seasoning. Steak was good but at least 4 oz of the 14 oz steak was fat. Would seek out a different steakhouse if that's what you're in the mood for. Mac n cheese was topped with breadcrumbs. I would recommend salting and toasting the breadcrumbs in butter. Risotto that came with special was extremely bland. Asked for bourbon list and waiter never brought it. Overall, took a long time for food. Ambiance is nice, but food is just average or below.
google avatar

Robert A.

Yelp
While the ambiance and the service was very good, the food was way below average and the prices were astronomical! The prime rib was tender and cooked properly medium rare. - but tasteless. A prime rib at Outback puts it to shame for half the price. My wife had the chicken and did not like it at all. The crème brule was the worst we've ever had! We'll never go back. The tab for 2 dinners, 1drink, and 1 dessert was over $150! This was an unforgettable experience - but NOT in a good way!
google avatar

Yelp
Consistent food and service. Quality cocktails and a great view What more could you ask for
google avatar

Virginia S.

Yelp
This restaurant is extremely over priced for the quality of what you get. As someone who worked years at a popular prime steakhouse which served à la carte steaks and sides I am shocked by the pricing of the food at this restaurant. Not only is most of the restaurant listed as market price, not actually pricing upfront but I honestly don't think my steak was USDA PRIME and was a total of $72.50 for an 8 oz filet! My cut of steak was fatty and a filet should be the leanest cut and when it's USDA PRIME it should cut like butter! The sides were odd sizing, should be family style given this type of à la carte menu. The asparagus was burnt, the spinach and fries were good. Salads were fine but basic and nothing special, the $15 bowl of she crab soup had a piece of shell in my first bite. Now I didn't receive bad service but I definitely didn't receive fine dining quality service. The cocktails I received were both subpar and details like clean silverware and placing steak knives in the proper place were missed during service. Folding napkins when a guest goes to the bathroom, pulling chairs out for guest to be seated... these are gestures that give a top notch high quality experience that provides an environment where this level of pricing would be acceptable. The restaurant is on the water, which sets a nice ambience but the decor extremely dated and again not what I would consider to be high quality fine dining. Now I understand this is a tourist area and sometimes that impacts a restaurant but it's truly unacceptable to write market price on most of the menu and the price gouge to that extreme. Would never return!

Jessica B.

Yelp
Food, service and views were EXCELLENT! Very large portions, seafood was fresh, and we enjoyed the sunset over the water. It will be our new date night spot!

Joseph L.

Yelp
If you are looking for an upscale dining experience, this is not the place. Limited choice on the menu of this is to be considered. Ordered 8 oz prime filet medium+. It was over done and was not a prime cut. The server agreed and had it replaced both mine and a friend who ordered the same. The replacement did appear to be a prime cut and was made as ordered. The manager was very polite and did comp the steaks. Why were the initial cuts not prime as ordered and why would and "upscale" restaurant make these mistakes. BTW, menu not inexpensive.

Candice B.

Yelp
Wow! What a great meal!! The waygu filet and ribeye are both excellent. And that chocolate lava cake is divine. Never disappointed here.
google avatar

Mike D.

Yelp
Great food and service. Did the waterfront patio for lunch- great ambiance. Tried the kangaroo app. Gourmet! Nice cocktails- the GN clubhouse cocktail was tasty.
google avatar

Linda J.

Yelp
Best food always served hot and quickly with a beautiful view of the Intercoastal waterway. Employees are efficient and friendly.
google avatar

Seymore B.

Yelp
Seymore has to say that the staff was extremely friendly and very helpful with the menu. The food was good not outstanding but good. The entrées are pricey, but the quality was OK. The desserts however were outstanding and very reasonably priced.Seymore, says, he will visit this establishment again.
google avatar

Doozer B.

Yelp
Amazing food and adult beverages. We ate inside. The only suggestion I would say is avoid sitting in a booth. The cushions are very soft and the table hits too high to be comfortable. A little pricey but worth it!
google avatar

Kayatta K.

Yelp
We were excited to visit this place on our visit. The hostess was not friendly at all and walked right by us and sat down behind a plexi screen. Very odd since we would have been one of the few people there! No need to put this on your must do list until staff changes.

Antoinette M.

Yelp
Beautiful experience for my 30th birthday dinner. Extremely intimate setting even while the restaurant was extremely busy. The waitress and hostesses staff were inviting, informative and pleasant. I tried the Ostrich, being my first time I was skeptical but it was very moist and tender cooked medium. The only complaint was the au jus sauce wasn't appetizing and would've paired well with a A1 steak sauce. I would give the visit a 8.2/10, can't wait to return to try the kangaroo.
