Had a lovely meal in Gregory's Garden with my wife. Lovely food and service. Had the fish. And good wine. Thanks Greg.

Good food and excellent service! What's not to like. We first sat in the window, but this was too hot for us, so they quickly moved us inside. Be aware that they don't take credit cards.

Went last evening , no kids menu, refused to take debit cards (cash only), then told us we had to eat outdoors if the kids wanted pizza, told us we had to get our own cutlary..... shocking customer service, and experience. We left after 10 minutes been there.

Excellent dinner for our family. This is cash only, so be prepared. The lamb with garlic aioli was perfectly cooked. The children's steak and chips were excellent as well. We recommend reservations even for mid week.

A must visit when in Castlegregory. Great coffee and lunch. Starters are divine. The searedshake had perfect skin and it was a very generous portion as well. Vegetables were beautifully sweet with the spuds just right. I'd call the chocolate desert "Everlasting life with Chocolate" rather than "Death by Chocolate" and we were not chased out even though i imagine it was close to closing up. They serve local craft beer too. Looking forward to our return this summer.

So disappointed. Having read the other reviews I expected better especially after experiencing Milesian next door I thought we'd be treated to another gastronomical gem! My wife and I arrived for lunch and we were greeted with a clean and well maintained facility. We were seated promptly by a lad who barely looked 16. My wife chose to have water but I ordered Stonewell Cider. The waiter brought me out a different brand of cider than the one I ordered. I informed the manager and he immediately replaced the one on the table for the one I ordered. Not a big deal but it's akin to ordering a Guinness and your waiter brining you a Heineken. Considering the exceptional service from Katelyn at Milesian next door I guess I've been spoiled to expect the same level of service elsewhere. I ordered the homemade burger while my wife ordered the beer battered fish and chips. When our food arrived all looked wonderful. My wife's fish was perfectly battered, with white flakey fish with the hint of beer flavour in the batter. Delicious! One minor sin; no vinegar was provided. As for my burger, that is where things went wrong. Though the presentation was wonderful, the brioche bun was stale and chewy and tasted like it was three days old, the beef patty was hot and tender but completely devoid of any flavour, and the entire thing was dripping with an excess of yellow mustard that overpowered what little taste there was. The accompanying chips were excellent, though I would describe my burger as "serviceable" and nothing more. Overall our experience was very disappointing, as we expected the food and the service to be on par with Milesian next door but sadly it isn't. I don't think I'll return during the day of my stay in Castlegregory.

Good food and nice rustic ambience. No Credit Card facilities but not advised when making the booking. Surprisingly only one 1 wc and not well located - near the kitchen.
