Grenaa Strand Camping - Djursland

Perfect camping if you have kids. Enough playgrounds to keep them happy. The sea and the beach at just out side the campgrounds. Little toilets and showers for the kids. Family options as well. Yes you pay a bit more, however well worth the money. At the checkin they asked what we are looking for. Quiet, near the facilities, at the trampolines or at the big ship. Seems like they can proved all those things. Of course this will depend on the availability. I would recommend to spend here a few nights before taking the ferry to Sweden if you go there.

Fantastic camping place for both adults and children. Plenty for the kids to do, with playgrounds and trampolines as well as minigolf and swimming. Local fire service visited once a week in the evening for the kids to play and get wet and ride around the camp in the engines. Kids activity corner was open a few times which the kids really loved. Will definitely visit again!

Big camp site in beautiful surroundings close to the sea. The tall trees between the site and the sea blocks a lot of the wind. The whole establishment is well thought through, as there are facilities pretty close by regardless which spot you occupy. The buildings are new, and they do a good job keeping it all clean. The WIFI has good coverage on the entire site. We spent an entire day on site due to there being so much to do. There are multiple playgrounds for the kids, including a giant pirate ship! A game room, and a creativity room. There is a swimming pool, and outdoor and indoor miniature golf. Well worth a visit, especially if you want to spend time at the camp site.

A very big and very children oriented camping ground. Check in is inside a sharks mouth, we walked right past thinking this was a children’s area. We don’t have children but have a dog. The place we got was very good, large and had hedges around us, so despite the size we felt we had privacy. The beach was fantastic and lots of walking tracks in the forest which was great for us. Shower, toilet and washing up facilities were great, all new and included in the price. Not a 5 because there were not enough toilets, had to stand in line in the morning and not enough hot water to wash up and shave with. But.... despite these things, a place I would still recommend.

Good for kids but I think they are in working progress.. no hot tub, pool is not heated. Kitchen was not fully equipped..it rained a lot when we came so we were stuck inside a small little cottage in which the couch was horrible to sit in, back breaking.

Excellent beach access 🏖️ but very crowded, still pretty quiet. Variety of kid-friendly playgrounds and activities.

Off season some features like the pool aren't available. A little pricey but with a beautiful beach and a lot to see and discover on the campground.
