Beautiful Lake! Great recreation destination for boating, swimming, fishing, and camping! Will definitely go again!

2019.03.10 Best lake in Mississippi out of the visited lakes in Mississippi. Bigger than Sardis lake and types of entertainment are also wider. Fishing and camping has enough resources and well maintained. Nice view even in winter days. Has a big boat ramp and picnic area.

I really love this lake. Let me go deep. I have travelled the globe. Driven across the Usa multiple times In a commercial truck, Swam and fished in hundreds of lakes. Lived next to the ocean.. Let me say this: , I love this lake. The park is very nice,It has some amazing, well cared for beaches. There's a great lack of rude people. I walked up to a park ranger and the army Corp of engineers and chatted with em for a bit. (I was a first responder I'm used to it). Got great insights on where to teach my son to kayak, and to fish. The lake is large, and space plentiful. With no overcrowding even on a holiday weekend. Y'alls southern hospitality shows. With the fellow beach goers all being friendly and respectful.

Very peaceful place to go fishing.

One of new favorite places to fish. And omg crappie are huge. I caught the 16 inches long. 3 and 4 lbs not uncommon at all.
