Grenfell Heritage Hotel and Suites

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. The hotel is wonderful, a thoroughly renovated small hotel in a former nursing residence that is part of the historic Grenfell medical network established in the region over 100 years ago. Our ground floor room was spacious and very clean with wood floors, a good bathroom, a full kitchen and TV sitting area, plus a small porch overlooking the grounds. The continental breakfast was held upstairs and was average (though it included yogurt and excellent bran muffins), perhaps because all rooms had their own kitchen; but it was in was in a large, bright room. Staff were friendly and helpful, and seemed to really care about the hotel and its guests. This would be very comfortable accommodation for a longer stay, highly recommended.

Nice room in a well-located hotel. You can walk to the Grenfell Historic Properties, which are one of the main attractions in St. Anthony. Breakfast was adequate. Staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Probably as nice a place as there is in St. Anthony.

Clean room with kitchenette comfortable bed and free continental breakfast. We were informed on check in that the power will be off starting at 7am the next morning. We feel the Hotel must have had prior knowledge of this and could have informed us in case we wanted to find somewhere else.

Rooms had great amenities and staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent location to be a base for ventures out. Try getting up to experience sunrise at the nearby lighthouse, only 5 minutes away.

Room was very clean. Bathroom and kitchen have been recently updated. Front staff helpful, and housekeeping staff friendly and asked if we needed anything. Sofa bed was comfortable.

We had a very comfortable large room with a kitchenette. Stayed two nights. Breakfast is advertised as continental with minimum hot choices. Would stay again but be warned there is no elevator. Our room was on the second floor and at 82 this was a challenge.

We enjoyed our 3-night stay. They got most everything right! We loved the dining table and kitchen area in our suite. The staff were very very friendly and even made gluten-free toast for my husband every morning. Clean and quiet.

This hotel has done renovations and has kept some of its charm , especially the hardwood floors. It was very clean .The room was large and had a small kitchenette and seating area.|The bed was comfy . The only drawback was the heatpump for air conditioning was very noisy in our room , turned it off .|Very friendly staff .
