We came here for breakfast on a whim as it was on route to our destination. We had breakfast and it was absolutely lovely. Great quality food, and reasonable prices. The views also created a lovely atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back to try the main menu.

We've been a few times now. Lovely food, always good service and a lovely cosy pub vibe. It is busy so it does get noisy, but that adds to the atmosphere. Dogs can now order their own meal too! Ours had the doggy fish n chips - she loved it. We all felt very welcome and looked after.

Not been here for a while, unfortunately we won't be back. Didn't get a good vibe on arrival, seemed like a bit of a snooty pub. We were asked if we'd booked a table even though there were only a few people in, then shown to a table in the pub rather than the area that was bright with views. All the time we were there I saw 3 people shown to a table in that area, it remained practically empty?! The place is very nicely done out & the decor is more befitting a nice restaurant even if the food isn't. We both had a burger from the Mid week special menu which was cooked from fresh and didn't take long to arrive but it was a little dry like the chips (either frozen or refried). I really miss fresh chips in these places. The Brioche bun (in my opinion) is not what you'd serve a burger on, it's too firm, I had to cut mine in half to get through it. Small portions for the price and 2.45 for a half pint of cordial and water is ridiculous. Staff were very attentive & pleasant

Very nice atmosphere & good food. Slightly pricey if you're not doing the midweek deals. But extortionately expensive for a small bottle coke as it's almost as much as a pint.

Really nice place to visit bit out of the road but personally that’s why I love the place . Good choice of food and drinks great atmosphere and a nice drive to get too. Been many times and never not enjoyed it . Fully recommend would book as this place is always busy which shows it’s popular even with its location being transport needed and designated driver recommended.

I visited with my mother and we were warmly welcomed by the lovely, friendly staff. We were seated quickly and able to place our order without any delay, which we really appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious and the service throughout our visit was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and can’t wait to come back again!

Well what can I say, I don't leave many reviews but felt I had to here, the whole experience was amazing, the pub itself immaculate, the owner/manager was a lovely guy and he obviously led by example because the waitresses were brilliant, very professional but so nice and friendly and very attentive, food was brilliant. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. Even sorted me a doggy box with my leftovers for my local crows I have, highly recommended just completely lovely experience from start to finish. Can't wait to return. Thank you 👍

Took a chance and popped in here on the way back from Boundary Mill to Manchester. Looked good so we grabbed a table and ordered. Service was super friendly and welcome was warm. Food was very good and represented the reviews I had seen online. Steak pie was OK and Red Thai curry was fab. Would recommend and go again.
