"When I can spare a very early morning to myself, I go to Griffith Park Trails. Start the hike at 6 a.m., and by the time you reach the highest point of the hike, you will see the sunrise at an incredible view."

Ok, this is a great hike. Start east to west going upwards for a harder hike. The climb at the top is a little tough so focus, no cell phone texting and please wear the right shoes. The view is spectacular. I did see people with, dogs and children. 9:00am is a good time to start. At that time you should find parking. No shade so wear your sun screen. Their are plenty of restaurants In close proximity after your hike. There is also a bathroom close to the parking area. Very safe hike.

Griffith Park offers some of the best hiking trails in Los Angeles! I took the hike up to the Griffith Observatory and was blown away by the gorgeous views of the city and the Hollywood sign. It’s a relatively easy trail, perfect for all levels of hikers. Great for a morning hike or an afternoon stroll if you're in the area.

Great spot to hike. Very scenic and variety of things to see. Fun to do hiking loop. Not too hard. Does get steep near the top. Bring some water and good shoes. Saw a rattlesnake on the trail, so keep eyes open 🐍 👀

This trail allows you to experience the breathtaking panoramic view of Los Angeles from the Griffith Observatory, you might want to do it in the morning so you have plenty of parking options at the bottom of the trail. Watching the sunrise over the city from this vantage point is simply magical. However, if you prefer a different time, witnessing the sunset is equally mesmerizing. It's also a wonderful way to escape the concrete jungle that is LA. There's plenty of wildlife to spot along the way, adding an element of adventure and connection to nature.

It was my first time hiking these trails, and they’re pretty easy to navigate. Unfortunately, we got there early at 8 a.m., and the sky was covered in smog, so we couldn’t catch a view of the Hollywood sign.

It’s was a moderate trail. Saw plenty of birds, Mountain View’s, the Hollywood sign and of course entered the observatory building. You need a good 2 hours to enjoy everything and come early before the tourist crowd.

Hiking season in this area is always at its best around this season especially after rainstorms. The view is amazing, and the fresh air is great for families and friends visiting.
