Grimm's Bluff - Tasting Room

This winery has a small but pretty tasting room in Olivios. The wines were uniformly fabulous (sadly I am a very experienced wine drinker so I know:)). Our small group loved the cabs and the rose also really stood out. We loved the wines so much that we arranged a tour of the vineyard which was stunning, like one would expect in Santa Barbara. Looks like a beautiful spot for an event. Happy canyon is what i recall — it was located a few miles from Olivios. Great wine!

We had the opportunity to visit Grimm's Bluff and were blown away. We loved the private vineyard tour. The grounds were beautiful and we learned so much from Ashlyn as she introduced us to the property. The wine is STUNNING - unique and delicious, and different from SY valley. Ashlyn was a wonderful host and we can't wait to come back.

Drove all the way from Palm Springs to Los Olivos for my wife’s birthday. Stopped in Grimm’s. Loved the wine. But Ken was the best. He made us into loyal customers. —Patrick & Tina Bergin

Amanda was awesome. They serve mostly Cabernet Sauvignon but their Balance blend and Petite Verdot were excellent. They’re a bit pricey, $25/tasting and bottles ranging from $50-$85.

Loved the red wine flight

The vineyard is gorgeous. The photos online do not do it justice. The property was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Big shoutout to Alexa who was such a huge help in planning my proposal. She gave me lots of options on where I could propose on the property, filled in the photographer with all the details, and went along with the surprise when we arrived. Everything was executed to perfect thanks to her help!

This place is a MUST. Not only is the wine delicious,(the cliffhanger was our favorite) the tour of the vineyard was beautiful! It was spectacular to see hundreds of acres showcasing their vines, the lake, honeybees, and other wildlife. Haven't seen a vineyard like it. The Staff was lovely with the tour and the tasting. Would absolutely go back!

Emily was our host and by far one of the best! She was very knowledgeable on all the wines and the wine making process of it all. Had an answer for every question! The tasting room was also decked out for the holidays and was absolutely adorable. The weather was also so nice for having our tastings outside! These wines are spectacular an applause to the wine maker! And vineyard grower well!

45 tasting fee. Very pricey wine. A bit higher tor los olivos, which has become a snotty expensive wine hooty tooty destination. Hate how the central coast is losing its charm.

Brittany and Emely were very knowledgeable and helped me decide on a wine to pair with my dinner that night. Brittany made sure I had a glass of their Cab Rose before I left. What a delight! Good service and great wine. Will be back.

Shelli was AMAZING. first time here and she made us feel like weve been here so many times. very relaxing and the best person to spend a Sunday afternoon with :) I highly recommend this wine

Little disappointing. The wines are okay. I tried all red tasting. To me they were all mediocre at the best. The nose was lacking, even though they were dry, I did not feel much of a layer in front or mid or the finish. I was surprised to know they were 2017 and one 2018. They tasted more like a 2021. Very young. The tasting room is not very inviting, the host was not very personable as most wineries. I indicated I was a member of several wineries and I was there on behalf of a wine club, didn't create a conversation. Didn't ask my opinion about the wines, very nonchalant. I paid the $25 for the tasting and walked away. Needless to say that I will erase the name from our list of wineries to visit.

What a fun winery! I love their name because of the TV show that I used to watch! They have a lot of yummy wines to choose from, so do check them out!

A new gem in Los Olivos, bad timing opened them just two day before Covid but they are open five days a week now (Closed Tuesday and Wednesday) We enjoyed the outside table under an umbrella. Inside is cute too. Our server was Pati and she was great. They have two tastings; Reds or Mixed. The Sav Blanca were crisp and delicious!

This place came highly recommended by our somms in multiple different wineries. So glad we made the stop. Their cabs are so awesome .. full of character and flavor. Patty at the tasting room was super friendly and informative. They are a biodynamic farm. They have a small tasting room with limited outdoor seating. They do offer a carbonic wine which was a fun. When we stopped by with our lil ones they were not busy. Patty was a gracious host. I loved their reds.

My husband and I stopped in on the recommendation of a Somm at Brave and Maiden. We were greeted by Brittany, who is super friendly and provided a great experience. Since we were there on a Monday it was quiet and we got some great individualized service. Brittany was wonderful, and the wine was to our liking - if you're a cab fan, their Estate cab is fantastic. The contago was also delicious and the Balance was simply incredible. Brittany was a great guide throughout out tasting and we enjoyed our time with her. Whenever we return to the area, Grimm's Bluff will definitely be on our list to revisit. Hats off to the wine makers!

By far the best wine around, If you are a fan of bold red wines, this is the place for you. From the nose to the finish you will be truly pleased and enamored.
