Food are so so here, choices are limited. They do have an extensive drink list. Service wise is close to no service at all, you need to replace your orders again and again, no one takes away the dirty dishes on your table, they only bring one water glass for the whole table…….price wise is basically tourist price and tourist quality…….

One of my favourite Grind coffee shops! The staff always provide excellent customer service. I usually get a salted caramel latte which is well-balanced and has the right amount of sweetness. You can still taste the good quality espresso, which is something I appreciate. If you’re getting brunch, I totally recommend the avocado toast.

Google
Food was delicious, really enjoyed the avocado in particular and added poached eggs on top. Matcha latte was bit mid tasted a bit watery but still had it. The hot chocolate and turmeric latte were delicious and great quality. Nice atmosphere in here too. Price wasn’t too bad considering we were in central London too

I recently visited Grind and had a great experience! I ordered an oat latte and the Grind vegetarian breakfast. The oat latte was smooth and perfectly balanced – really satisfying. The vegetarian breakfast was hearty and delicious, with perfectly cooked eggs, sweet potato cake, and fresh veggies. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Definitely recommend for a healthy and tasty start to your day! ꫀꪶꫀꪀꪖ

Google
The huevos rancheros and avocado toast were delightful! Fresh and yummy. Jasmine was great! It took a while to get my cappuccino and she was kind enough to take it off the bill. Great service and environment overall! 10/10 recommend this spot. Oh and the Irish espresso martini *chefs kiss* the frothy cream on top was to die for!

Google
What a hidden surprise is the super green smoothie! Looks like vomit or the water used to cleanse paint brushes, taste so bland and full of ice but costing 8 pounds!! Coffee is off too - feel like the beans are not fresh enough, or the grind is off. I came from Switzerland and am at awe that this costs the same as the Swiss ones LOL

Came by for a few drinks and nibbles and Evie was great! She recommended us her favourite foods and drinks. Very attentive and so lovely xx

Google
The food and drinks were amazing and good quality and selections for both accommodated for everyone. Atmosphere was relaxing however it was small so if you have a big group be aware of this. Easy location, price was reasonable for the location. I would recommend getting the grind loyalty app as it did save me a lot of money getting a free drink and then get a free drink on the app because of the price of food.

Yelp
Excellent for a coffee break, lunch, and doing a little work! Adam was amazing in providing the best atmosphere & service.

Yelp
Lovely little place, fair pricing but more than I thought. Their food is far more extensive!

Yelp
Covent Garden Grind is such a cute place for casual drinks or coffee. I haven't tried their brunch yet, but their small plates are really tasty and go great with their cocktails. Two or three small plates is the perfect amount for two people to share over drinks - you are required to purchase food if you will be ordering alcohol. Everything is reasonably priced and the decor is spot on. Everything that I've tried here has been great. I like their hot chocolate in the mornings and the Lady Grey cocktail for the evening. Service is friendly and prompt. There's plenty of seating upstairs, downstairs, and on the patio. I really like to sit on the patio if the weather is nice, but I would suggest trying to get a table closest to the restaurant, rather than the street. Every time I've sat near the street, people have come up to our table every 10 minutes or so to ask for money, which makes it hard to enjoy uninterrupted conversation with your tablemates.

Yelp
Great spot, really nice and welcoming staff. Maria was a delight serving us. Food was great. I had the asparagus and eggs, my wife had the smashed avocado and fried egg. Delish.

Yelp
If I were to open up a cafe/restaurant, I envision it looking/being very similar to Covent Garden Grind. This spot has all my favourite things in one place: cocktails, coffee, neon lights, artsy decor, and yummy food. The minute I walked into this spot, I knew I was going to love it. Pretty strong assumption to make based solely on how a restaurant looks, but what can I say? I know good vibes when I see/feel them. And, I was feeling all the good vibes the minute I walked in here. The patio and top floor were super busy, so we opted for sitting downstairs where there was absolutely no one. We didn't mind at all. We got a big comfy booth to ourselves! Everything on their menu looked delicious, but we kept it simple and opted for a hummus and pita platter. Other things that caught my eye though: chorizo & smoked cheese croquettes, smashed avo toast w/ poached egg & chili flakes, sweet potato hariska cakes, and the fried chicken sandwich. As for drinks, they have your good ol' coffee options, but they also have cocktails. My friend opted for the mojito, while I got the espresso martini. Coffee cocktail, why not? Their fruity and detox cocktails looked quite good. I'm bummed I didn't have more time in London to stay and drink here, because honestly, all the options looked fab. Everything from the food, the drinks, the decor, and down to the service was fantastic. If I ever move to London, I want to find an apartment right next to here just so I can frequent this spot. I loved it that much.

Yelp
Excellent Avocado smash! Actually the best I think I've ever had. This, coming from someone who eats avocado toast almost daily whilst at home. They've done it right. Such a darling little coffee house off the beaten path in Covent Garden. Super cute. Worth it to find.

Yelp
The full vegetarian breakfast is excellent with eggplant (aubergine), large mushrooms, and spinach in addition to the usual British assortment and high quality in the ingredients, plus the eggs are perfectly prepared. Sylwia and the other staff are consistently helpful. If I lived in London full time then I would go here a lot more often especially during the morning.

Yelp
We spent two weeks in London and had breakfast in several places, but this was one of our favorites. You have to try the Sweet potato harissa cakes, poached egg. I added bacon and it was really good. Avocado toast was also a great option.

Rolf P.

Yelp
Disappointed. Came here for a coffee and breakfast snack based on the reviews and the great photos of the food to find that all they had were 3 kinds of pastry!

Yelp
Yessss this place is spot on! It's located in central, central London and is the new addition to the Grind family and damn did they do a good job! Gone are the bad service everyone complains of in the London Bridge one, and in its place is the friendliest staff who go the extra mile to make sure your time there is just great! Coffee wise, I was lucky enough to go on the free coffee day and so I tried a few different ones on the menu! I got the almond milk flat white which was simply sensational. The right mix of coffee and milk, which was sweet but not too sweet - literally try it and it'll be the best decision you ever made! I also got a almond flat white, which was similarly good and the perfect warming winter drink. I was offered a third by the delightful server, who was keen to make sure everyone had their coffee fix, but I politely declined. Didn't wanna go coffee crazy and get tooooo hyped up. I thought this was a nice touch because a lot of time if it's a giveaway, the coffee wouldn't be so free flowing, so big thumbs up for this! Food wise, I couldn't resist grabbing some breakfast while I was there. I went for the smashed avocado on toast with a topping of poached egg. Oh my word, it was simply superb! The yoke just oozed out, when I cut through the egg! Yoketastic! Highly recommend ordering it and the best you can say how you want your eggs - fried, scrambled, poached - totally up to you! All in all - the coffee is great, service is 5 star and there's so much seating you're never gonna wanna leave!

Yelp
Great food and nice place ! The menu is original and the quality of the food is great and fresh.

Yelp
ambience of the place was great on a tuesday afternoon. good music, amazing service. i got an iced mocha with oat milk and the coffee flavor of it actually came through really well and wasn't overly sweet. also got a small croissant sandwich and it was great. fair pricing especially so close to covent garden too.

Yelp
Covent Garden grind has great options for food, coffee, and beers. This isn't a quiet cafe that you could study in, but more of a lively and fun brunch spot. The avocado toast is a must have and eggs are cooked perfectly. The coffee tasted great, as well and there was a wide selection of beer on tap if you decide to go later in the evening. At busy times, be ready for a wait because this is a popular spot among Londoners. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Yelp
The food is delicious and the place is really nice, highly recommend! Lattes and croissants are spectacular

Yelp
I LOVE THE FOOD LOVE THE PEOPLE. eggs are incredible. Cooked to perfection. Avocado is mashed and seasoned exceptionally

Yelp
I think it's a style over substance sort of place. The coffee was bitter, the chicken burger was very greasy, açai bowl was watery. They were out of every draft beer- which was odd for a brunch place. They also still tried to charge us for a draft beer they didn't even have. For how many good reviews it's gotten and how busy it was I wasn't impressed at all. A lot of much better quality places to go for brunch in London.

Yelp
Close to Covent Garden, it was easy to get to. It was quite busy, but the atmosphere was great and the wait staff were really friendly. We were really impressed with the smashed avocados and burritos. Highly recommended!

Maria T.

Yelp
Very good cappuccinos and great service! Everyone was helpful and kind. Recommend it if you want to grab a quick bite.

Yelp
As usual for Grind, they do pretty good coffee. I would say that in some way, Covent Garden Grind fills the gap that opened up when Notes Coffee closed around the corner. Covent Garden Grind joins a range of new openings in the area and is the latest Grind branch in London. As you can probably expect in Covent Garden, the place was pretty busy. It's worth knowing that they also have tables in the basement. While I prefer the atmosphere and air on the ground floor, sitting downstairs is better than standing in the rain. The relatively loud party-style music reminded me a bit of the vibe at uber-cool Danish chain Joe & The Juice. Just that I believe Grind still does better coffee. I had a very good flat white and the food on the counter looked delicious. I just found the Pastel de Nata, the Portuguese tart, a little bit heavy, but with great flavours.

Yelp
Stopped by for a little lunch and coffee break; loved the interiors and the atmosphere. Coffee was really good. I ordered an avocado toast with smoked salmon, no eggs as I don't like them. It was fresh and very tasty. The detox water with cucumbers and lemon was also very good.

Yelp
Stumbled into this gem while wandering around Covent Garden, first thing that my eyes land on is their David Bowie quote. EPIC. I'm not sure if it was just London itself but everyone is just lovely. Staff was attentive and really friendly. I got the smashed avo toast with a poached egg and prosciutto with an iced latte. I received my latte first (all thumbs up) and maybe 5 mins or less i was served my toast (my egg was perfection and the toast was nice and warm). Me and my friend even struck up a great conversation with one of the workers. Hope to be back soon!

Eleanor V.

Yelp
the coffee here is so good, reasonably priced compared to other coffee places in London, and is actually their own house blend! My friend really enjoyed her berry smoothie, and I had the Acai bowl which was really nice. The cafe has a lovely feel, and I'd love to go back and try some of the cocktails :)

Gabrielle F.

Yelp
Very good serving of food and was quite delicious, extra seating downstairs which is dark so can be a little bad. I would recommend the smashed avo. Only issue was a little bit on the pricier side.

Yelp
The coffee was absolutely delicious! Cappuccino and latte with two energy bites. The service was wonderful as well. Highly recommended!

Chris N.

Yelp
Ate breakfast twice here while in London. My favourite dish was the açaí bowl. My wife loved her coffee from here too. Great place with an amazing vibe - would highly recommend if you are staying in the area.

Joey S.

Yelp
I ordered the espresso martini and a cappuccino to go with my full english breakfast. The espresso martini was tasty, but not worth the 9£ price. On the other hand, the cappuccino was great! The food was just okay. My over easy eggs came over hard, but reasonably priced and not worth complaining about. I would give this place another shot considering their service was superb!

Yelp
One of five locations I believe and the second in Covent Garden. Review only based on the coffee and atmosphere. There was seating downstairs which I would think is used in the evening times as the do a cocktail menu to. Coffee was superb and the vibe is really relaxed and welcoming .

Rebecca B.

Yelp
This is the best place for breakfast in covent garden. Perfect lattes, delicious avocado toast and friendly staff makes Covent Garden Grind the ideal spot to start your day. Can't wait to try the juices and smoothies!
