Grischa – DAS Hotel Davos

This hotel is like an Omega watch. Go anywhere do anything mix of sport and luxury. Great service behind the desk. Fantastic functional rooms. Excellent location. Restaurants at every price point, all quality. A hard vision to execute, but done to perfection.

This is truly one of the best places to stay for skiers. The cable car to Jakobshorn is directly across the street, and the buses to Parsenn and Pischa stop right next to the hotel, in front of the post office (just a 30-second walk). You can take Bus 304 or 303 to reach Parsenn easily. For Pischa, there is no direct bus—simply get off at Davos Dorf and transfer to Bus 305 at the same stop, and you’ll arrive shortly after. Rinerhorn is also very easy to reach. If you take the train from Davos Platz station right in front of the hotel, you’ll arrive in about 20 minutes, and the cable car is directly connected to the platform where you get off — making the transfer incredibly seamless. The hotel and Parsenn are located at opposite ends of Davos, and since the hotel is at the starting/terminal stop, we were always able to sit comfortably on an empty bus. This turned out to be a major advantage, as buses often became completely full after the mid-town stops and sometimes even passed by without picking up additional passengers. From a logistical standpoint, the location is exceptionally convenient. The ski room is located in the hotel’s basement and is directly accessible from outside, which makes things very practical after a day on the slopes. The hotel itself offers four excellent restaurants (casual dining, fondue, Asian cuisine, and a Michelin one-star restaurant), as well as a comfortable bar that is open from early in the day. From the bar’s windows, you can see the iconic red Swiss trains at Davos Platz station passing right by, which creates a wonderfully romantic atmosphere. We ended up enjoying most of our meals and après-ski right at the hotel. There is also a “Dine Around” program that allows you to reserve not only the hotel’s restaurants but also well-rated nearby restaurants through the hotel. The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom was particularly impressive. The bathtub was very large, and the entire bathroom floor is heated, so even after showering the floor dries quickly and always feels comfortable and pleasant. Lastly, right in front of the hotel at Davos Platz station, there is a very convenient luggage shipping service for ski equipment. For CHF 24 (up to 23kg), you can send your ski bag directly to the airport train station and collect it early the next morning. For anyone traveling via the airport, this makes the journey significantly easier and far more comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone planning a ski trip to Davos.

Really well placed hotel in Davos. Train station and bus stop can't be closer. Really well kept rooms and fantastic breakfast.

Oh how the other half live... A brilliant hotel, huge rooms, but bed's not as comfortable as you might expect, close to the railway station so easy travel. Very helpful staff came in early to get our group breakfasted so we could start travelling early. Co-op and other shops nearby were very convenient, and for Switzerland reasonably priced.

Hotel Grischa is a stylish and sophisticated mountain hotel located just steps from the Jakobshorn cable car in Davos Platz. It’s a favorite among skiers, hikers, food lovers, and conference guests who want premium comfort and convenience without sacrificing character.

Went out of season, team at the desk super friendly and attentive. Warm welcome and gave advice on local fitness and wellness centres. The room is very clean and tidy, and the restaurant was also very good. Keep up the good work.

The rooms and the entire hotel are very stylish, well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only disappointment was the spa was not open. And the garage spaces are very tight. Good luck if you have a large vehicle.

Had two nights here in May. Single room very comfortable with excellent modern bathroom. Comfortable bed and spacious room. Digital safe. TV. No balcony but opening windows overlooking outdoor seating area. Very good buffet breakfast with excellent staff and those at Reception. Very good bar area with good beers and reasonable prices. Would certainly stay here again if visiting Davos.

The Grischa is a very nice stylish hotel with a good location. The room was nicely decorated with a fresh jung design but offers everything you expect from a good hotel room. Bathtub and shower and a comfy bed. The break fast buffet is great and offers a chef that prepares fresh hot dishes, besides the usual selections. The only thing I was missing was a wellness area with a hot tub after a long day on the ski slopes. The trainstation and one of the cablecars are just 500m away.

Worst experience ever for a Raclette place in Davos. We had to wait for a table for over 1h even though we had a reservation. They offered us a drink at the bar but apparently the second drink after 45minutes was not included and we had to pay it separately with our mail afterwards even though it was approved by the manager. Manager made a big scene about not being able to pay for the second drink so after paying for a $180.- bill, it was not worth to argue for over 20 minutes about 2 drinks and we gave up and just paid for the drinks. We will never return to a restaurant with such arrogant management and arguing about $20 especially since we know it costs the restaurant only $5.- for the drinks. I will def. not come back and let my friends know about the bad experience. Do not get blind sided by the recommendation from other hotels to get a bad service and be treated like you don't matter

Excellent Hotel, excellent Team, perfect location! Design, lifestyle, amazing cuisine! This was our fourth stay in the same hotel and it`s not the last one.
