"Artisanal gelato chain Although a chain (we now have a few Grom's in New York City as well), Grom makes an incredible gelato, and is committed to creating a locally sourced, sustainable, high-quality product. The nut varieties are exceptionally good—especially the pistachio and hazelnut ones. They also serve a tasty 'affogato' (meaning 'drowned' in italian)—a shot of dark espresso poured over the gelato of your choice!"
Delicious, genuine gelato. Not like the fake gelatos you see in big colourful piles. Tastes amazing! And quite a variety of flavours too - I recommend the Crema Di Grom
Takes a bit of a while to make though, but the queues are rather short. It's also perfect to eat next to the gorgeous cathedral adjacent

The entire ice cream shop was gluten free! A selection of different sized ice cream cones, and can be with or without chocolate and nuts. A large variety of flavours. Friendly staff with good English and a very generous serve size!

Slushy + icecream together, never had anything like this before, it was a bit expensive but worth it.

Five star for the high quality, rich and creamy Gelato, two star for the cheap, less tasty waffle cone. If you visit the store, order the Gelato in a cup, you will not be disappointed. Their pistachio flavor is among the top three best gelatos I had in Italy. And I have traveled for 40 days and tried over 50 different highly rated gelato stores. That should give you some idea about the quality of their offerings.

We had pistachio gelato and a mango sorbet. Both were amazingly good.

Grom my wife specially recommended. Ordered lemon a bit sweet but acceptable. The store offered a long bench for guests to enjoy their gelato.

Yelp
Quick service, fantastic dark chocolate and strawberry flavors when I visited. Would definitely go back.

Yelp
We tried several locations for a traditional Italian ice and this place was hands down the best.
We went back three times in a two week period!

Yelp
Ok gelato. Have had better, but that was in Florence where the real deal is. The girl at the counter was rude.

Yelp
While waiting to get into the Duomo, we decided to sample the gelato offered at Grom. This is a chain with stores thoughtout Italy. My husband is the gelato aficionado, and Grom makes really good gelato. We were both in heaven! It was cold and delicious on a very warm day. They even had places for us to sit and enjoy the gelatos.

Yelp
Yummy gelato in central Genova! Gelateria Grom has a wide choice of interesting sounding flavours. I chose the flavour of the month which seemed to be sesame with chunks of caramelised sesame and coconut with chocolate chunks. Both flavours had a nice creamy texture with good quality ingredients, I found the sesame slightly too sweet but it was an interesting new flavour for me. Unfortunately I did not have time to sample any other flavours as I was in a hurry to get to lunch before catching an intercity train but I was satisfied with the 2 flavours I tasted.
Contrary to other comments, at €2.20 for a small portion I found the pricing to be reasonable and quite standard given the higher quality.

Yelp
Even though it's a chain, it's the best gelato in Genoa. Tried it in Venice and it's better than the three others we tried in Genoa.

Yelp
The gelato was fairly creamy and they had a good selection of chocolate and nutty flavors. I like to see more fruit options on the menu. Overall a good gelato, but definitely not the beat I've ever had.
