We stopped in for dinner with a large group and sampled a pretty extensive menu: fresh cucumber salad, crispy shrimp spring rolls, baozi Shanghai classic, eggplant hong shao, Sichuan-style green beans, mapo tofu, crispy fried chicken, beef ho fun, charsiu pork, Shanghai noodles, and finished off with the mango sago.
Overall, the food was flavorful and enjoyable. The crispy shrimp rolls and baozi were crispy, juicy, and well-balanced. The eggplant hong shao had a nice savory flavor, and the green beans had just enough spice without overwhelming the palate. The charsiu pork and Shanghai noodles were also solid choices, cooked well with good texture. Mango sago was a refreshing way to finish off the meal.
One minor drawback, some of the space felt a bit rundown and dirty, which slightly impacted the overall experience. Still, the quality of the dishes and pleasant service makes it worth trying.
