Grosseto Vinohrady

Have been visiting regularly this location lately and it is on a par with the others in the group I frequent (Andel, Pruhonice). Very good service and food is high quality. The regular menu is good but the specials, especially seafood options are usually great.

Grosseto Vinohrady in Prague is a fantastic Italian restaurant known for its authentic flavors and warm atmosphere. We just loved the food here!! Tomato Soup, Pasta, Pizza, everything was just perfect to eat and relish the love of Italian food. The ambience and the vibes are good, service was very prompt and polite staff.

Very good restaurant. Very attentive waiters. We got directly a box of bread together with a delicious spread and olive oil. The pasta and pizza tasted very good. The drinks were also very tasty. We will be happy to come back again!

We came back from Kutna Hora (bone church) in the evening and were starving. Unfortunately we didn’t have a reservation and so we visited multiple restaurants without luck. No room for us. At Grosseto it was first the same song (no room if you have no reservation) BUT this time the guy at the door looked into the books and said “come back in an hour and I reserve you a table”. Asking my name he smiled and joked a bit because we are Finnish (and the pronunciation of the names). I already got a good feeling about the place at that time. We returned after an hour and got the table at the loft/balcony overlooking the restaurant room and windows to the Namesti Miru Christmas market. Considering that the place was absolutely full, we got service, drinks and food in normal time that you might expect in a restaurant. Tip: if you get the garlic bread for something small to start, its pretty massive (like a pizza with multiple bread slices). Easily enough for four people. The food was good and tasty. I thought the portion size was just perfect; not too small, not too big. When we left we got the leftover garlic bread in a takeaway box (I said it was big). Now you ask, what about the price? I thought it was in line with the food and service. Considering all I would say very good price/quality ratio. And the location is pretty central near Namesti Miru square. Recommended.

Their tomato soup is so great, I came back to have it again after first tasting it 8 years ago. Their pizza is also very well made. The staff is friendly and their garden is beautiful and gives the correct Italian vibe.

Very chewy cheese pizza, not so tasty and definitely not hot enough. Felt like it had been prepared for a previous customer who changed his mind. Service was friendly and welcoming but forgot our drink order during the meal. And forgot us completely in fact.

The food at Grosseto was undeniably delicious; each dish was a flavorful delight and beautifully presented. However, I must admit that when it comes to the price, I felt it didn't quite justify the experience. While the quality of the food was impressive, I couldn't help but wish for slightly larger portions or a more reasonable pricing structure. Nonetheless, I would recommend Grosseto, especially for special occasions or when you're looking to treat yourself. The restaurant's cozy ambiance and the professionalism of the waitstaff create a memorable dining experience that's worth the visit.
