Great location opposite the park. Easy to walk into the town centre. Good sized room with comfortable beds, a fridge with milk and water already inside, wide selection of teas and coffee (including filter coffee with cafetiere). Nice towels and shower gel. Free parking. Fantastic breakfast, both in quality and quantity. Thank you!

Stayed at the Grosvenor overnight whilst watching a show at Pavilion Theatre. The Hotel is only a very short walk from the theatre, less five minutes, and the room we stayed in had a fantastic view of the park. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. The room and breakfast were fantastic. We wanted for nothing and could fault nothing. Would highly recommend.

I guess we fell on our feet. |We had booked another BnB, but on arrival there was no booking and no room available for us. |Fortunately, we were transferred to the Grosvenor, and it was actually better than where we had planned to stay.|The hotel is right in the heart of Buxton, overlooking the park and 2 minutes from the Opera House.|Our room was a little tired, but it was warm, comfortable, clean and the shower worked just fine. Quiet as well. So a good night's sleep, and a truly wonderful full English next morning.|We will go back ...

We booked this as a party of 7 to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary and were not disappointed. We had all 4 rooms on the first floor and each one was comfortable with a good selection of beverages, fresh milk, comfortable bedding and lovely towels in bathrooms. Our breakfast was wonderful. The selection, service and freshness was commented on by all. Loved the home made marmalade Alison. A home from home. Thank you both for our wonderful stay. We would not hesitate to recommend you

The Victorian house is very well maintained, the rooms are tidy and beautifully decorated, with views to the Pavillon gardens and the crescent. The location is perfect. Kevin and Alison are awesome hosts. They really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast they serve exceeds all expectations, offering a remarkably abundant and comprehensive culinary experience. Overall, excellent experience!

Lovely place to stay, very reasonably priced including a breakfast. Our room was nice with a comfortable bed and good selection of tea and coffee. The owners were very friendly and made us feel very welcome.|Excellent choice of breakfasts, all cooked freshly to order.

Amazing location, view to the park was lovely! Quite dated and run down, carpets had seen better days and was worried about where we were sleeping! Room not as bad as the hall and stairway but could do with a feather duster…. Few extra guests in our room 🕷️ Lovely hot shower and comfy bed and the basket of Smellies were useful. Great breakfast!!

What a fabulous place to stay. An old stone town house opposite large park with free parking. The house with many of the original features. The guest house is a stones throw from all in the centre of Buxton. Clean rooms with comfy beds and all the facilities even a fridge. The host is very friendly and knowledgeable about Buxton. Breakfast was very good and very hot. Good fresh coffee. If we go back to Buxton we know where we will be staying
