Grote Knip

It is a beautiful Beach and it is the farthest from the capital. It is also probably the most expensive when it comes to pay for a bed or a hut. There are some rocks from which you can jump into the water. It has a beautiful turquoise color so the pictures are really beautiful if it is a sunny day. I recommend to get there before 10 in the morning so that you can get a good place.

My absolute favorite beach of all the ones we visited in Curacao. The water was the brightest blue of them all and there were barely any waves. We were lucky to get front row chairs with an umbrella (I think it was $5/chair?). There are restrooms onsite ($1) and at the top of the steps to the beach, there's a woman who sells drinks and fresh coconut. There's also a truck in the parking lot that sells snacks. The sand was soft and white. I saw a neon blue fish swim by my legs. I would stay here forever if I could!

Beautiful beach with beach chairs and loungers. The water was beautiful. There are some stray dogs, but they did not bother anyone. Great spot.

Perfect beach for the whole family. My husband and I had a great time taking turns snorkeling and playing with our toddler on the beach. The entry to the water is rocky, but not unbearable. We had water shoes on our little girl and she did great, but neither of us needed them.

Our favourite beach when we visited. Very photogenic. Toilets are available in the beginning. Also a place to jump off the cliffs into the water. We arrived early in the morning but parkering was chaos when we left.

Calm water and white sand beach. The water is literally crystal clear. It was amazing. Some parts of the shore do have coral so beware of your feet. Chairs and umbrellas are available for a reasonable price but it's best to soak up the sun. Grab a smoothie on your way home from the convenient kiosk in the car park.

A beautiful beach in Curacao offering breathtaking views of the turquoise waters and a great spot for photography. There is a coconut shop nearby to quench your thirst, but if you feel that you've drank too much you would need to pay to visit the loo (which is filthy inside!). Also the beach chairs are pay and use. It's a shame - that this a money grabbing business of a beautiful beach. And lastly, the beach is very rocky and slippery due to which a pair of water slippers is a must.

We went to every major beach and Grote Knip was by far our favorite. It's so beautiful that it doesn't feel real. Come before 10am for the best chair selection, there was a small food truck, toilet use is $1usd, the best snorkeling is well beyond the buoys on the edges. Cliff jumping was great but the path up was a little sketchy so bring water shoes for that.
