Grotto Bay Beach Resort & Spa

wonderful! While the resort isn’t the most modern in terms of aesthetics, it is still incredibly beautiful. The location is so convenient—just 5 minutes from the airport—and it boasts a private beach with stunning views. The staff is amazing and so kind, making the experience even more memorable. The absolute highlight of my trip was the spa/massage in the cave—it’s a must-try! It was hands down my favorite part and such a unique, beautiful experience. Highly recommend!

I couldn’t fault this hotel. The room was lovely with a view over the pool and beach and the bed was SO comfortable. There’s a huge variety of food and drink available, served by really friendly staff. We swam in the sea every morning, followed by a dip in the pool and then the hot tub! Swimming in the cave was an amazing experience and the cave massage was incredible. The local bus and ferry service are excellent and make it easy to explore the island. There was a very talented guitarist playing on Monday evening. I wouldn’t hesitate to return!

From the second we arrived on this beautiful property we were thrilled! The grounds are stunning, the buildings very clean, the restaurants are excellent, but it is the staff that will have us returning!! My wife hurt herself on property and the Operations Manager informed the resort staff who as a team ensured she was comfortable, including help getting us to the main lodge for a formal dinner each night. People were not only attentive, but genuinely cared about her well being and happiness. We could go on, and on, and on! We look forward to returning in the fall, when we will have good weather and an opportunity to enjoy what is pictured...

Overall, a quiet, relaxing stay during the off-peak season. Renovated lobby and restaurants are lovely. Light touch-ups/construction still ongoing. Rooms are a little dated but clean. Comfy beds. Thin walls. Weird floors. Good water temperature and pressure. Be aware that the property has several stairs/inclines. Those with joint/medical problems may want to contact front desk for best placement. Had both cool and warm interactions with staff, but they were always professional and courteous. Dining room staff were highly efficient. Restaurant-quality food. We chose the all-inclusive supplement, which paid for itself and more. Had a wonderful hot stone massage from Takira (apologies if I spelt your name wrong). Entertainment was sorely lacking, but we enjoyed the view as well as the resident cats and chickens. Would return.

WOW is how we would describe this resort.|We're just back from the most amazing week at this beautiful hotel. The whole package was first class.|The rooms were so clean and well furnished. Good sized bathroom with an excellent shower plus some toiletries.|The housekeeping staff do a brilliant job.|Our room was an ocean view - and what a view!! Crystal clear waters and unspoiled scenery.|We were all inclusive which is excellent value for money. All the meals were first class with the evening meals freshly cooked to your choice.|Breakfast was a total delight with the amount of choice. The waiting staff were really nice and helpful.|The hotels location makes it really easy to explore the island as a complimentary bus pass covers the whole island and the bus stop is right outside the hotels front gate.|The Cathedral cave is part of the hotels grounds offering the unique opportunity to swim in the caves crystal waters. I swam in the cave and it was a surreal experience and one that I will never forget - truly amazing.|We loved Bermuda as the whole island is so clean and breathtakingly beautiful. The people are lovely, always smiling and eager to stop and chat.|Thankyou Grotto Bay and Bermuda for a wonderful holiday and hopefully we'll be back some day.

Visited the Grotto in November 2024. I’m giving this resort 4/5 stars due to lack of entertainment. The resort it self is very beautiful. It was the off season so there was not many people there. If you need to relax and unwind this is the place. I would suggest anyone staying here to take advantage of the public transportation pass to explore the island. There was a lack of entertainment for children and adults during the day and night. The meal plans is not worth to purchase by day two you will get tired of the same menu and best to buy individual meals or eat out. All of the staff- very friendly and welcoming. Special shout out the bartenders Tez and James.

We only happened upon this Hotel after visiting the Cathedral Caves and liked it so much we cancelled our last day at our Air B and B near Docklands to stay here for one night. I love their complimentary tea and coffee and amazing freshly cooked biscuits that they put out daily. We enjoyed a lovely buffet lunch and a delicious dinner meal as well - both very good value and marvellous food. The room is a good size with a balcony overlooking the pool and amazing sea views. Nice to have a fridge in a room as well as a free safe. The whole place is understated but nice - I never thought it needed a renovation but apparently they are going through one now. The heated pool and jacuzzi are perfect too as we came 7th Jan 2025 and the weather is blustery at 15°c but still much more fun than the minus temperatures back home in the UK! Most of the staff are very friendly- just one was a bit curt but not rude. Great private beach area and apparently their is a gym as well but we wanted more relaxing time than workout time! We booked a couples massage and that was the only disappointment really. My partner had a guy and he was good but my massage lady i felt resented being called back for the appointment. I felt she must have had something on her mind and she disappeared quickly afterwards so I could not even give her feedback But the guy was great. Overall I would definitely come here again.

What a wonderful hotel. We went there as a family of seven. We enjoyed our stay very much staff could not have be nicer. In particular, the weight staff were very professional and kind. Esteban and George, as well as the other waitstaff took good care of us. Even with the bad weather cold and super windy we still had a great time at Grotto Bay.
