On the Grid : Ground Control

"Vegetarians and vegans rejoice! A spot made just for you, though even the carnivores line up for their meat-free take on classic sandwiches like bahn mi, jibaritos (though they're no Papa's), po' boys, tortas and one hell of a beet burger. The entrees are great, it's true, but the garlic smashed potatoes with country herb gravy are divine. Don't be shy with the gravy, it goes great with the fresh biscuits too. Just looking for something to sip on? Grab a seat at the bar and pick your poison from their impressive list of rotating drafts. The lighting is moody, the art deliciously weird, and the staff is fantastic and friendly." - Firebelly Design

If it's damaged it needs to be fixed properly. Using a tape to mask the damage is not safe for kids. My kid's leg got stuck here, thankfully by god grace nothing happened except that his pants tore. But there is hight chance the metal ring can cause concussion if someone falls on it in a place like this.

My kids love this place and we bring them regularly. I was disappointed with management this time around. They had one girl working concessions all by herself on a busy Saturday night. Trash was overflowing everywhere and management just chatting it up at the front. Do better people your taking advantage of kids- young adults wanting to actually work! This was the poor girl the whole time we were there 10 deep in the line.

We had an amazing time at Ground Control Trampoline Park! The facility is clean, well-maintained, and packed with exciting activities for all ages. The trampolines are top-notch, and the ninja warrior course was a huge hit with my kids. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a safe and fun experience for everyone. I also appreciated the separate areas for younger kids, making it a great place for families. If you’re looking for a fun, active outing in a safe and energetic environment, I highly recommend Ground Control Trampoline Park. We can’t wait to come back!

We threw my daughter’s 6th birthday party here and it was such a great choice. We chose the party package for 10 jumpers in the bay area. A party host, wristbands and socks, pizza and drinks were all included. Our party host, Shiv was a great help and so sweet. She was so useful with the setup and just overall attentiveness. Not only did the kids have a great time, the adults thoroughly enjoyed themselves as well. I’m sure a lot more visits and future parties will be held here from multiple families that attended our party as well as us. Thank you Ground Control for making this such an awesome and memorable experience for my daughter and her friends.

I took my toddlers here for the first time while I'm staying in the hotel nearby. It was our first time being at a trampoline park and they had a blast and I felt good that I was allowed to play alongside them and run after them as needed 😊 the staff was super helpful and friendly and the place was well maintained. We paid $20 for the 90 minute play pass and that was just the right amount of play time for my little ones to be tired out. Of course, we had to cool down with a slushie from their little snack spot.

We had done our first ever visit. Brock Gresham and his crew we’re so amazing. We were actually there on our first visit with my grandkids’s father Chris the first time they had separated. It was unreal how the crew made my grandkids feel that day and had no idea. A real special shout out to. JANISYA IS THE MOST AMAZING. my dear granddaughter was scared already, but she was so amazing to try to help her and she did accomplish her goal. She talked about her the whole time after we left. We will definitely be going back every time we come into town thank you so much for what a wonderful experience we had

I had the best experience here! My brother and I came in for his 13th birthday and had the best time! The staff was so friendly, especially Maddie. She was so sweet and helpful and helped us with everything, we will definitely be back.

Recently visited the Irving, TX Ground Control with my boys and their friends and the kids had the time of their life! They played for hours and never got bored. The park was clean, the staff was polite and very friendly. The manager was great! She was accommodating and made sure we were well taken care of! Oh and the pizza is hands down better than Pizza Hut or dominoes or any chain for that matter IMO! Thank you Ground Control, can’t wait to visit your other locations.

Yelp
I would not recommend anyone bring their family here. Not only is it overpriced, they cheat you on the time you paid for. We paid for 90 minutes and were asked to leave after an hour. They make a public announcement overhead and tell you if you have a certain color bracelet you must go even if you haven't spent 90 minutes in the place like you paid for. In addition, they force you to pay for their socks in order to play, $3 a person. The workers are very lazy. They sit there on their phones but yet won't let you zip line or slide the slide unless one of them is there. When they are there they sit there on their phones. We were told it was free for our two year old, but it wasn't. They charged us 19.99 plus $6 for socks saying that they have to charge for a parent because of our two year old but have to pay for both socks even though my husband didn't play. Aside from my complaints, the place is huge, has zip line, two different slides, dodge ball area, ninja warrior area, and lots of different trampoline, blocks, and foam pits. I would recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks because no one was at the concession area the entire time we were there. We wanted to purchase drinks and yeah.. they are just for display. Go to another trampoline park and stay away from here! They also don't make you sign a waiver. They have the waiver area but don't check to see if anyone has signed. RUN!! .. and don't look back!

Yelp
Came here with my children ages 11, 13, 17. Loved the open floor plan so you can see your children from most seating areas. Check in was easy and they didn't force me to buy new socks bc we brought our own. They were priced by the hour and didnt have crazy gimmicks to lock you in for a year. (Yes I'm still mad Urbanair) They had different areas to play in: (I'm totally making some names up) Trampoline areas for little ones Basketball Ninja course Dodgeball Zip line Wall climbing Jump over the bar thing Rope ladder Gladiator Eating area Massage chairs for adults Overall I loved it. I could work here at a table while my kids played. Good for all ages, but we did see a lot of little ones here on a Tuesday night. Not a lot of teens trying to run little ones over. O Group of 10 kids birthday parties for $250 1 hr was $13-16 with socks 2 hr was $20-23 with socks All day $23-26 with socks

Yelp
Always a good go to for some air conditioned fun for the kids. You're in Texas remember!?!

Yelp
Our favorite place to bring the kids to burn off energy during the weekend. Music is enjoyable for my kids and for me. There's a small concession counter with pizza and snacks. My kids love it here so this is a regular for us. Once you have the socks you don't need to purchase again unless you loose them. Would recommend

Yelp
VERY fun. this place is fun for both adults and kids. it's also more expensive than urban air though. i haven't laughed that much in forever. my favorite thing was this circular beam thing that you have to jump over when it gets to you. it was very fun seeing all the kids get knocked down. they have alot of stuff that all ages can do that's really fun like a zipline... they let my 3 year old go on it several times- he LOVED it. they also had ninja warrior stuff, dodgeball, and this game thing of hitting lights when it lights up. the other favorite was the gladiator thing where you can battle on a balance beam. my only complaint was that it was really unorganized at the front desk and alot of water on the floor in the bathrooms which is gross with only socks. we wll be back!.

Yelp
I would not recommend and certainly will not return again. We were there this past week, and I noticed when checking on my kid the pit area smelled unkept (the big area where kids jump in like it's a pool). My daughter of course kept going to this area bc she enjoys wading like it's a pool. I also noticed how dirtier the green socks were when the kids (including my niece and nephew) left. We've been to Ground Control three times over maybe two years. The first time a mom recommended it bc it was clean. I concurred. Fast forward to the second visit. No alarms set off but my kid did get sick a few days after. Third, and most recent, visit was when I encountered the smell and their socks were so dirty we just trashed them. Days later after the third visit my daughter ended up with the flu. My husband brought to my attention that this happened the last time we visited the place (she got sick). I will acknowledge that kids can pick up viruses and other illnesses anywhere and we'd visited other places for fun within days of going to Ground Control (third visit). What created pause was connection between our second and third visit and noticing that there is a stark contrast between our first visit and our third (and last) visit. Also, I single out the pit because my niece and nephew went with us on the third visit and they were fine. However, my daughter got sick. Out of the three she spent the most time in that area. With that being said my child, niece and nephew did have a blast and two out of three were asking to return. However, our third visit was our last visit. My recommendation is that there's more thorough cleaning especially in the area where germs can be more discreet. The entire area where the zip line and block pit is needs to be reviewed. Get a black light bc that's where I experienced the smell. I hate posting reviews like this but these types of companies must stay vigilant bc children are involved. We're moving into fall which is the season of viruses. Invest a little more time and resources into keeping the place as clean as possible. Based on my third experience, and comparing it to my first visit, you can do better.

Yelp
What happened to making the customer happy ? When paid was told by the cashier that pizza & a drink were included in the admission price of $32.00 for one child. When went to get it was told it wasn't included in that price even though cashier had said it was. Spoke with the manager - thinking perhaps she would offer to make it right - but that was a NO !! It was only one slice of pizza and a small drink - What happened to making the customer happy or making it right ?????

Yelp
its a meh place, run by some high school or college kids, who do not know when their customers come and go. We took all day pass and they were ready to kick us out in two hours. We had a 1.5yrs baby who was also required to get socks and was charged full price. will never come back again.

Mase A.

Yelp
My kids love going to Ground Control but we will no longer be supporting this business. They changed their prices and no longer offer a 1 hour jump time. This forces those attending to buy a membership or pay an increased price for almost two hours. Ground Control now requires their grip socks which is only an attempt to increase prices as all grip socks work for these trampoline parks. We paid double the amount from these increased cost than the past several years our family came to enjoy the facility. Sad to see this company focus on squeezing more money from its loyal customers.

Yelp
Nice place, however there bigger kids around 12-14 years or even more bigger, jumping around, playing rough. Also 5-6 years old kids playing, kinda looks rough for me, because I didn't see those big kids parents to tell them, they are not only one who is playing inside this place. I appreciate all parents who is checking their kids while they playing.

Yelp
My kids and little brothers love it. Lots of open jumping area. Love the kids area to separate from bigger kids. Nice obstacle course.

Proshad E.

Yelp
Large, clean, excellent lounge up top with TVs for parents, and they recently added these great slides that were a huge hit with my kids.

Yelp
Nice open trampoline park. Definitely one of the cleanest ones we've been. They have a couple of crew members walking around manning different stations and was likely enough given it wasn't super packed. Would recommend checking it out at least once.

Sandra P.

Yelp
They demand that you pay for their brand socks!!!!! Even if you bring equivalent socks from urban air or other jump places.. they claim their socks are safer. They let us in with the urban air socks ( yes I showed them the socks we were using) and then when the kids were already jumping came and told us we would have to go up front and purchase their socks.... We will not be back. The music is so loud. That I need earplugs. Worst place I have ever taken my children!!

Jonathan W.

Yelp
Awesome place for kids and adults. Clean, accommodating, and wonderful experience. Will be back!

Braam D.

Yelp
Overall decent, but as a parent who doesn't want to jump I was hoping to sit in "The Mezz" which looks like it is designed for parents to watch their kids. It is an area above the park with a bar, sports games on the TVs and comfy couches. However I wasn't allowed up there because child's party was using it instead of one of the 5 plus party areas downstairs. So I got to sit in the back on a sticky picnic table. Pretty stupid to have an area designed for parents where they can comfortably watch their kids from above the park.... Then let a kid's party use it instead of one of the birthday party rooms (all of which were open). So if you are coming with a party probably a solid place, but as an individual jumper just walking in or a small group would not recommend.

Cassie D.

Yelp
My kids and I love this park! It's huge and has so much to do in addition to trampolines. My kids run around for a couple hours and it tires them out. Mission accomplished.

Nora D.

Yelp
I'm a bit of a germaphobe and have high standards when it comes to cleanliness. I let my kids convince me to take them to a trampoline park even though those places make me anxious with how dirty they usually are. I was pleasantly surprised with how clean this park was. It's a big trampoline park with lots to do. My kids had so much fun and are already begging me to take them again. We'll definitely come back!

Yelp
I unfortunately had the worst experience imaginable as a parent when throwing my son's birthday party this past weekend. Imagine coming to the location and it's pitch dark inside and doors are closed. I called the Event Coordinator 30+ times to let them know my guests should be arriving soon and no one is here at the Irving location. When I finally got a call back after texting the number, they got someone to finally open the door. In that time I had so many guests and kids all waiting outside now for over 30 mins. Humiliation and embarrassment is an understatement. I have never seen such unprofessionalism from a venue. Their response was that the general manager had a medical emergency but why they were relying on only one person to open the door is mind boggling. They knew there was an event at 10am so that means no workers or anyone would have been there at the time of the event. They compensated me by only making me pay the 50% deposit that I had paid upfront and not having to pay the remaining 50%. That still doesn't compensate me for the unprofessionalism and common courtesy to own up to their huge mistake. Workers were extremely rude, incompetent, and barely seemed like they want to be there. I asked the worker 4 times to see when the Orbit, ziplining, and other areas would be open and they just kept saying they don't have enough people here. Again, you have a child's birthday party and the owner was aware so why they weren't staffed for my event, I have no clue. Their speaker system wasn't working when I asked to even make the announcement to have the kids go up to the party room so we had to go around the entire venue to make sure we got everyone from our party so that they didn't miss out. They wouldn't compensate me for my event planner having to stay extra when she was perfectly on time and followed their rule of set up time at 9:45am. When I asked for the pitchers of water for my guests as the Event Coordinator had said we would get, she didn't get it out for another 30 mins. I had a guest wanting to buy a water bottle and she wouldn't open the snack area in the back. Luckily I had brought my own water bottles, overheard this conversation, and was able to get some water for my guest's daughter. Overall extremely unprofessional owner. I would never book a party at this location again. UPDATE: I am entitled to post reviews so do not mention false allegations of threat. I don't agree that it was 15 minutes but since you claimed and threatened of videos disproving me, I will tell you that it was closer to 10:25-10:30. Even then, 1 minute, 15 minutes, 30 minutes is absolutely unacceptable. I never thought to ask for 100% compensation, however another manager there thought that to be fair and said he spoke with the "OWNERS" (which is where I am getting that word from for your information) would only give me 50%. Hopefully you as a manager and others that were there can learn from this to avoid this as there were so much more that could have been done to ensure a smooth sailing event even after the unprofessional late start i.e. making sure all attractions are open, water is already out, speakers are working, proper staff in place and ready to work, and not relying solely on one person to open a venue. At 9:45am, I was calling repeatedly to desperately find someone to talk to to find out what's going on. Instead, it should have been you or the Event Coordinator (just so everyone is aware is not at the event to actually coordinate the event and was completely unaware of what had even happened) to make sure doors have been opened possibly having a confirmation call check with the opening manager assigned that the venue is ready prior to client and guests' arrival. I would assume the opening manager gets there much earlier so not hearing from this manager would have given you a much earlier notice that there was something wrong. A lot could have been done to avoid this and it wasn't so just making others aware. UPDATE to their second response: Again, that is a lie that I verbally said that. It's a shame that a business would not own up to their mistakes. I have NEVER gone to a birthday party where the host is standing outside waiting for the venue to open. Such an embarrassment for a business. Their response is that this has never happened before but unfortunately one time is too many for an incident like this to occur. Instead of owning up to this, they are continuing to post about the same thing that's not even true and not even acknowledge the other valid points I mentioned which speaks to their unprofessionalism. All I ask is that you consider changing some of your policies so that another parent doesn't have to go through this.

Yelp
This place is amazing. The owner is super nice and awesome. The staff are friendly and make sure you are ok. Can not say enough great things about this place. I hope it stays around. They keep the place clean constantly. Love the zip line.

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
We love this jump park! It is the best one in the dfw area IMO. So clean! The staff is amazing. It's HUGE. Appeals to my young teens as well as even younger kids. Large eating area in the back. Bathrooms clean. Water fountains! They've got 2 of those really springy trampolines. (That's my technical description)

Marisa D.

Yelp
So much fun and the service is great! I definitely will be having my kids' birthdays there. Made my life so much easier.

terry w.

Yelp
Best trampoline park in the dfw area! We've taken our grandchildren to just about every park in the area and none are as large, well equipped and clean as this one. This will be a repeat for sure.
