Fabulous cafe with lovely friendly staff. Good selection of sandwiches and locally baked cakes. Coffee is excellent-prepared by well trained people who obviously take pride in their skills. A tiny space but one which is a delight to visit due to the way it is managed!

Avoid the gluten free friand. Rubbery, weirdly solid, lacking in flavour, and £3. Coffee at 33 in Trafalgar St. does a whole slice of lemon polenta cake for £3.50. The texture of which delights. The espresso was just about ok. Slight metallic taint.

We love Ground, it's our favourite local coffee shop! The new location is great and the fact that they now do brunch is brilliant, we tried it for the first time today and the ultimate bacon butty is possibly the best bacon butty I've ever had. Coffee from Pharmacie Coffee Roasters is delicious and well prepared, and the staff here are always friendly. There aren't many places you can get coffee and brunch for £10. Just a lovely atmosphere, nice music and chilled vibes, a great coffee shop.

In this day and age when the new pubs are actually coffee shops, there everywhere, it’s incredibly refreshing to go into a coffee shop that has got it just right.. Superb little coffee shop, the food is on another level compared to other coffee shops along with the expertly made coffee, even when they are making tea which is sometimes my preference, the same amount of love goes into the making of that tea, love that, that alone speaks volumes. It’s also exceptional run, not just saying that, Albina and Iryna really know what they are doing, they have simply found that right balance of interacting with customers while serving excellent food along with first class beverages, hot or cold, all while chilled music fills your ears which really sets the wonderful tone and ambiance. A rarity, a really good coffee shop, done right!

Nice little place. Great coffee. Nice atmosphere. Pleasant staff. Since I posted my review of Ground, six years ago, they have moved up the road to a slightly smaller premises, but the coffee is still as good and the staff, still as friendly.

Really delicious pain au raisin made with butter. Their GF bakes were also great with their well brewed cup of joe. Highly recommend when in the area!

The coffee and this cake were sooo delicious,I really love it.
