🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5-Star Review – If I Could Give 6, I Would! Grounds for Coffee on 25th Street in Ogden is hands down one of the best coffee shops I’ve ever been to! The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and exactly what you want in a local coffee spot. But what truly sets this place apart is the incredible team working behind the counter. During our visit, their cash register went down, which could have been a complete disaster, but instead, it turned into a perfect example of outstanding customer service. Rather than turning us away, the employees went above and beyond to make sure we could still get our coffee. They offered a workaround where we could Venmo them directly—something I’ve never seen a coffee shop do before. That level of flexibility and care for their customers is unmatched. A huge shoutout to Jace & Ella, who handled the situation with grace and friendliness, keeping things moving smoothly despite the tech hiccup. And Lem—absolute legend! He saved the day and made sure everything was taken care of with a great attitude. If you’re in Ogden and looking for an amazing local coffee shop with top-tier service, a great vibe, and employees who actually care, this is the place. If I could give it six stars, I would! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can’t wait to come back! ☕🔥

Google
It was ok for me. I asked iced latte with whole milk she repeated “iced coffee with almond milk” 😅She was nice but struggling to manage the order. My pastry was wrong too.

Google
I absolutely LOVE the coffee here! The atmosphere here is beyond amazing. I love the yoga studio above. I also love the chess group as well! They have so many different things you can do. It is a fabulous way to meet people and make friends!

The Fiend

Google
The main reason to come here is for the atmosphere, very very chill place with good vibes for studying or just having a conversation. The coffee here is pretty good, can be pretty inconsistent to be honest. The food is actually super nice. Nothing amazing about this place, but a very solid spot for a coffee date or study session.

Google
They pull a quality shot. They make my order exactly how I prefer it - and I appreciate it. And the chicken burritos are delicious. There are probably 6 coffee shops that are closer to me, however I prefer quality over convenience.

Google
The coffee was good but nothing special, the food was ok just for pastries, but if you need a quick coffee this is your place on 25th street in Ogden, but if your looking for gourmet coffee I would try somewhere else. But the atmosphere was fun being on historic 25th

Google
This coffee shop in the heart of Ogden, Utah is one of our very favorite places to spend time with family and friends. the service is amazing, the atmosphere is friendly, fun and family oriented. I love that local artist can sell and display their talent and it is overall just wonderful and comfortable to sit and enjoy life along with the wonderful food and great variety of flavors of coffee and beverages.

Google
The best matcha latte ever! We were just driving through and stopped for coffee and we had the best conversation with the equestrian barista! Super good energy, we will be back when we’re in town.

Zack S.

Yelp
Came here to chat with my wife and enjoyed a hot tea! The fresh teas they offer are amazing. The flavor is full and smells amazing! Customer service was top of the line! We love coming here. The vibe in side is cute and cozy. They have board games. It's overall a cool spot to hang out, enjoy a hot beverage or pastry and play games. Whether as a family or a date.

Yelp
A place on its own wavelength! It has two levels, and we ate upstairs. Chairs tend to squeal when dragged. Liked the cake and strawberry fruit chiller.

Karen C.

Yelp
Stopped in while exploring 25th St., Ogden. The shop is very cute. Staff were very friendly. The coffee was good and the muffin was OK. I would go back again for coffee.

Yelp
If they were renting rooms, I'd move in! A coffee shop full of artisanal shopping, art work in every nook, and a book trade shelf with a yoga studio upstairs?!? Did I dream this place up?!? I thought my coffee/flower shop Secret Garden Florist in Ventura was the best, but I'll have some suggestions for them when we get back from our road trip!

Tyler L.

Yelp
Best espresso on Ogden hands down! Give it a try. Great atmosphere as well, food is fine but over all great service and coffee.

Becki A.

Yelp
Excellent crepes and avocado toast. Ordered the strawberry Nutella crepe and my daughter loved it. I had the avocado toast with an egg on GF toast. Delish! Coffee was great too.

Yelp
Stopped for coffee here. Husband and I were doing our volunteer work with friends up in Ogden. I saw they had Mexican chocolate for one of their brewed coffee of the day. Decided to try it. Umm where have you been all my life. Taste delicious you can taste chocolate in there somewhere. How they do it I don't know! But I came back the next day to get a bag! They have a loft upstairs you can sit so there is plenty of seating indoors and outside. They have some cool stuff to look at. The employees were super nice and chill! Wish I was closer! But if I am ever in Ogden I'm stopping here!

Sara H.

Yelp
Cute spot right in the core of the historic district. They are busy so there seems to always be a line but the environment is welcoming to hang out or meet up with friends. The vegan breakfast burrito is super yummy but so were the magic bars and other treats we tried. Nice to have a variety of drip options for all tastes as well as an extensive espresso based drink selection plus non coffee options to boot.

Josh S.

Yelp
I came into town from San Diego, and lost internet at my condo. Someone in Eden told me to come to Grounds For Coffee, as they have WiFi and delicious coffee. They were right, however they forgot to mention the wonderful service and blueberry muffins that I'll dream about. If you haven't tried this place, get here!!! It's locally owned and close to it all. Keep up the great work!!

Aspen G.

Yelp
I love all the Grounds for Coffee shops. This one is a particularly great location! It has seating both upstairs and down, it has a place to charge your computers, and of course delicious food and coffee. If you need to study or even just get together to catch up with friends, I highly recommend this place. There is usually only one or two workers so it's not good for people who are in a hurry. You come here if you want to chill and have a laid back atmosphere.

Manny D.

Yelp
Nice little coffee shop in the heart of downtown. The service is quick and the staff is very polite. The food and drinks are fresh and are made to order. The mocha was delicious and tasted much better when I replaced the milk with almond milk! Sooo good!

Megan K.

Yelp
The staff is awesome, their coffee is solid and the vegan treats are too notch! They gave us some water for the doggo, and a biscuit- which was appreciated. Took a few bags of their beans home and had a mini dance party with the staff. What's not to love! I would be a regular if I lived here.

Pam L.

Yelp
Super cute little coffee place in Ogden. The coffee was great and loved the quiches. They have a great space to hang out and chill too.

Roy S.

Yelp
I'd just finished a run, and was filled with positive energy. The service at Grounds for Coffee destroyed that mood. I ordered a coffee and a cinnamon roll. The server asked me if I wanted it heated, and that seems like a good idea. After waiting about 15 minutes, I simply asked if my pastry was going to be ready soon. The barista said I was being rude, sneered at me and she handed me a cold cinnamon roll in a plastic container. One star is one too many for this place.

Rachel S.

Yelp
I'm not a coffee drinker, but love a good spicy chai latte. I ordered one and said "the spicier the better" and they "said say no more" and delivered a beautiful extra spicy chai with lots of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom. They also have PHENOMENAL quiches made in house. We've tried four different kinds and none of them disappoint.

Yelp
The wife and I discovered this gem while wandering down 25th St on a random Saturday morning. I wanted some more caffeine and perhaps a small bite to eat. GFC had the cute, funky, coffee shop feng shui I was looking for. Interior - A large, high-ceiling front room with a cozy loft area upstairs in back. The walls were filled with local art. The tables were half-filled with mellow regulars. Staff - Friendly, welcoming and chatty. Having gone vegetarian lately, I appreciated that they offered small vegan burritos for sale; and I ordered a soy latte for my caffeine fix. Wares - The mini vegan burrito was fantastic. The latte was more foamy than expected but hit the spot nicely. (The baked goods looked stellar but I decided not to overstuff myself.) I've got zero complaints about GFC, since they basically delivered exactly what I was in the mood for. The wife also enjoyed the vibe here and did some art browsing before we decided to move on. If I was local, I could definitely see myself hanging out here for a while; maybe even getting some work done.

Tahs L.

Yelp
We really enjoyed this place. Great ambiance in the shop, quick to make our drinks, and the girls working we're so nice! Loved the homemade pumpkin sauce.

Brianna L.

Yelp
This place was so good, and for being one the only coffee options around Ogden, I'm glad it really delivered. Also shoutout to the shorter barista with short hair. She was so sweet, and so helpful, she alone made the whole experience for me!

Sara V.

Yelp
Needed somewhere to stop on my cross-country road trip and stumbled upon a weekend farmer's market. Because people were at the farmer's market, not too many people were at the coffee shop so I was happy to get away from the crowd. There's A LOT of options on the menu so it's a bit information overload but the staff is friendly. I ended up getting a chai latte. I feel like if I lived closer to this area, I would hang out here. I saw some folks upstairs working on their computers. As mentioned by another Yelper, this shop supports BLM and LGBTQ+ folks which made me felt safer about stopping there and happy to support them.

Sara D.

Yelp
Great place! Friendly people! This is one of our go to places for Pride activities. They are always so awesome and willing to help us out.

Heather R.

Yelp
Grounds for Coffee is a great coffee shop to visit Ogden. There's plenty of seating inside and there's a great atmosphere. Baristas were nice and my hot chocolate was delicious. There are plenty of coffee and non-coffee drinks to chose from. There's also some food and pastries for sell. They also sell bagged coffee and loose tea. Overall, I recommend coming here for a nice hot or iced drink.

David S.

Yelp
Stopped in here post breakfast for a cup of joe. I got the black drip Ethiopian and my wife got the chai latte. Drip coffee - really good. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Chai latte - Served cool. Strange because we saw them make it, temperature wise it just wasn't warm enough. Great taste however. Overall coffee was fine, not as good as Wasatch but fine. What really turned me off was a large sign posted inside for a certain politically oriented organization. The organization represents and promotes racial disunity and anti-family policies. I affirm their right to promote whatever they want and i'll take my money and buy coffee elsewhere which is my right in this country. Can we drop the politics and just make coffee?

Kevin W.

Yelp
Ever since I moved to Utah, Sadie and the staff at Grounds for Coffee have been amazing, and the coffee is the best. Grounds has excellent food and selection of merchandise; and even when they are super busy during events such as the Farmer's market, you can always expect a smile and excellent customer service. Sadie, Remy, Kenzie and the team always make my day and it's worth stopping by to experience the best coffee and coffee shop in Ogden. There is also a hot yoga studio (Higher Ground) and weekly meetup groups for those so inclined upstairs. Grounds for Coffee, thanks so much you guys for always making my day.

Timothy E.

Yelp
We stopped off for coffee and bought some extra stuff too. Tracy got their Pumpkin Latte and I got the Orange nutmeg. We enjoyed them while we waited on the rain to pass.

Jordan I.

Yelp
Best coffee around! I have always loved Grounds for Coffee and this location has the best atmospheres. It's a great place to get some work done and enjoy good coffee.

Naomi L.

Yelp
What a fun little shop on the lovely main 25th street. You'd honestly never guess that there are several other of these in the state. I hope that the rest of them are as individual and friendly as this location. We were in desperate need of coffee and sought this place out because, let's be honest, there aren't many places open early Sunday in Ogden. That being said, I think given more options - we would have still stopped in Grounds for Coffee. The vibe was lovely and relaxing (totally could have fit in back home in New Orleans, actually the window seating reminds me of Rook Cafe on Freret St). The mushroom quiche hubs got was moist and the salsa added a nice touch. I think it would be a nice spot to do work, with lots of thoughtful outlets all over the floor. There's as a nice yelp check-in for a free flavor shot or drink upgrade.

Lexi D.

Yelp
New favorite coffee shop by far! Told the cute barista to make me some type of iced chai and it is amazing!! If CJ makes your drink, you are blessed! Great service and environment!! Yummy treats and bevys! Shout out CJ for real she was so friendly and helpful!

Mikala W.

Yelp
I'm rounding up to 5 stars, but really it's a 4.5. This is a cute little coffee shop with a yoga studio above it. I love that they have kombucha on tap and a wide selection of delicious and vegetarian food options. The staff is nice, but a bit slow moving. If you like a sweet non-coffee drink I would highly recommend the chai chiller, sooo good! Also, free muffin for checking in on Facebook or Instagram :)

Marisa N.

Yelp
Rainbow bagels, delicious coffee, local art, good vibes--I am in love. I can't say enough good things about this place. I haven't even left and I'm already planning my next trip.

Tiffany G.

Yelp
Adorable coffee shop. The ladies working in there were super nice! Our coffee was good and they have great decorating skills. Highly recommend trying out for coffee dates.

Erik S.

Yelp
Very friendly staff! I'm from Denver and people I'm Utah are sooo much friendlier than Denver area people! Good coffee too

Marlie H.

Yelp
Absolutely love grounds and everything they're for! I try to stop by when i can to grab a drink and hangout !! you just can't beat the atmosphere

Kay M.

Yelp
A quaint, funky and charming coffee shop. Once you step inside it doesn't feel like you're in Ogden, UT. The entire place is unique and mismatched. The coffee is fantastic and their baked goods will satisfy any sweet tooth plus there are vegan options available. If you feel you need to relax after your caffeine jolt there's yoga upstairs!

Jennifer G.

Yelp
This spot has delicious coffee. And I'm a coffee snob (Starbucks doesn't cut it). I got a hot white chocolate Hazelnut latte and it was awesome. Will definitely return.

Kristin S.

Yelp
This place had a great vibe, fun and courteous staff and cool artwork, but the coffee I experienced was meh. Food was grab and go so I'm not sure how that is normally so my rating has nothing to do with that.

Thommy C.

Yelp
This is such a great place. We love downtown ogden and visit often. When we are feeling the need for a warm or cold beverage, from a place that knows how to make you feel so welcome.... Grounds For Coffee is the Place. The vibe is awesome and adds to the experience. The team working here is friendly, patient and a fun. They have many things to choose from, to include baked goods as well. If you find yourself on 35th street and are looking for a place to grab a drink, relax and talk with old friends and new friend alike... be sure to drop by.

Paul Y.

Yelp
Great place, great tasting cup of Joe! I'll be back. Service was fantastic and friendly

Aaron S.

Yelp
Delightful place with friendly baristas. This is the kind of place I would visit all the time if I lived nearby. Drip coffee is super cheap (but still tasty), and they even have housemade almond and oatmeal milks. Love the eclectic decorating, too.

Cobra K.

Yelp
Came here because I was in desperate need to get outta my hotel room. Good lord it's stuffy in there. So I came here...and 'checked in' to get a free upgrade on my drink...went from a regular sized mocha chiller to size GIGANTIC. PROS: 1. Free wifi...password is 'groundsforcoffee' 2. Second floor balcony is cute 3. Delicious mocha chiller 4. Cute atmosphere CONS: 1. Closes at 8pm 2. Hard to find power outlets on the ground floor 3. Require key to go to the bathroom 4. Slow service from the redhead working (I don't expect to wait 7minutes in line if there's only one customer in front of me...minimize the socializing and get my order)...she's hot, if a little impatient. I prefer fast and courteous service. I don't like it when I feel like I'm bothering you. If I ask you what the wifi password is, don't get irritated. If I ask you for the key to the bathroom, don't get irritated.

Seth G.

Yelp
RILEY, YOU ARE THE MAN. Me and the wifey come through all the time hopping to get you behind the bar. Not ONCE have been disappointed. If you're walkin' by and see a tall blonde dude with glasses whippin' up, GO IN. God-tier craftsmanship with his mochas.

Emma E.

Yelp
This is the second location I've tried, with the Clearfield location the first (that location is just a drive through...which I walked through, and they were very accommodating). The Ogden location was super cute and had great coffee. I'd give 5 stars except our order wasn't exactly what we were told it would be. There was only one girl at the counter doing both cashiering and coffee making, and I don't think we were charged for what we didn't get. Lots of flavor options and it looked like great pastries and snacks too! I would definitely go back!

Taleigh E.

Yelp
Staff is always very pleasant and happy . Atmosphere is fun yet still relaxing! Orders are always correct , prices are good as well. Great for a quick stop :)

Didi R.

Yelp
This is my second visit this week! I just can't get enough of the chai lattes (trust me, just go for the 20 oz. whole milk option) with nutmeg. The baristas are very friendly and are happy to explain any drink they prepare. Did you know they have bike rentals? Check this place out!

Amanda H.

Yelp
Came here every morning while in Ogden, coffee is delicious & super affordable. Staff is friendly + fun. Great customer service + great coffee! Big menu / tons of flavors to choose from. Definitely go here if you're in town!

Tatiana P.

Yelp
I have come here a lot in the few months I have lived here. I filled up my punch card once and look forward to doing so again. One of the most notable aspects of this location is actually the baristas. They are so nice! It must be a requirement because they are all very charismatic and kind. The atmosphere is nice and the wifi ks pretty good. I have done homework here on multiple occasions. Also, it's a good people watching location. You can sit in the window area! I would recommend the green tea chiller. It might take them a while to make but it's SO YUMMY. Really yummy. Go try its yumminess.

Jordan W.

Yelp
This is a very chill place. Back when I attended Weber State I would go here every once in a while for poetry slams they held every so often. Recently I was in the area, so I decided to stop by. The employees were very friendly and got my drink just right.

Linda J.

Yelp
This is not regarding the 25th street store all though I find it wonderful. This review is about your shop at Ogden Regional Hospital. I just want to say that Cache and Chase are the bomb. These two guys are always dressed neatly, treat everyone kind and professional. Best Barista's ever!!!!

Ian L.

Yelp
Honestly, this location of Grounds for Coffee sucks -- don't come here if you have a choice. Be prepared to wait - a long time - in line before you can even place your order during peak times. The staff does their best to serve customers but the way it is set up, it is extremely slow, and when management has literally only one person on a busy day making drinks and taking orders -- it is hopeless. The bathrooms are disgusting and in bad repair. Soap dispenser ripped from wall, broken tiles everywhere, barely any paper, and a grimly looking floor from when the toilets overflow. The menu board doesn't even display the correct prices. The prices apparently changed in August of 2017, but now well over six months later, the managers haven't been bothered to update the prices, other than leave a small, easy to miss, message about the new prices. There is an upstairs seating area that has a carpet that looks like it is barely ever vacuumed -- often lots of leftover crumbs ect. The coffee scene is becoming a lot more competitive in Ogden recently with new cafes opening up around downtown. There is no reason to come to Grounds for Coffee in the shabby, ghetto state it is being run. The Grounds for Coffee on Harrison Blvd. is nicer and better run.

Elle K.

Yelp
Love this Place. Great loft space, fun books to browse, nice tea selection, sharp Barista's and Excellent coffee. The only downfall are the old men in there who listen to the news on their telephones WITH OUT headphones. However going in the evening is better because the geezers are all asleep. lol
