7 Best Coffee Shops in Dublin | Condé Nast Traveler

"Wooden bar tables, benches, and stools; baristas in flannel shirts; and a moose-head painting all give this coffee shop a cabin-like feel, one that transports visitors out of the city and into a more rustic setting. Different coffees—some by Boabab Coffee Roaster in nearby Celbridge—serve as the foundation for strong double espressos and frothy drinks. Mochas, made with Belgian dark, milk, or white chocolate, are also a highlight." - Melissa Kravitz Hoeffner

Legit Coffee Co., Dublin, Ireland – Bar Review | Condé Nast Traveler

"First impression? Wooden bar tables, benches, and stools; baristas in flannel shirts; and a moose-head painting all give this coffee shop a cabin-like feel, one that transports visitors out of the city and into a more rustic setting. Cool. So who’s there? Regulars here don't feel particularly crunchy-granola—after all, coconut-chia porridge and halloumi platters aren't really camping fare. Rather, you'll spot trendy Dubliners eager for of-the-moment foods and great lattes. How are the drinks? Different coffees—some by Boabab Coffee Roaster in nearby Celbridge—serve as the foundation for strong double espressos and frothy drinks. Mochas, made with Belgian dark, milk, or white chocolate, also are a highlight. Worth ordering something to eat, too? Breakfast, brunch, lunch, and snacks all come in hearty portions. The menu has Mediterranean influences; dishes include baked eggs with Moroccan sausage and a grilled eggplant sandwich. Did the staff do you right? Baristas are friendly, chatty, and happy to tell you about the next pop-up slated to take shape in the space. Wrap it up: what are we coming here for? Excellent coffee, pastries, and daytime dishes make Legit an ideal resting spot, whether that's with a book, a laptop—there are plenty of outlets—or travel companions seeking to beat jet lag with some caffeine." - Melissa Kravitz Hoeffner

Dropped in to buy beans and got a quick mini tour of the roastery !Lovely knowledgeable staff ..Best coffee bean bang per buck in Ireland !So many places selling same-ish beans and/or charging a fortune to get the advertised flavours /notes .Whatever it says on tasting notes on the bag you’re getting ! ALSO …the freshness is like I haven’t tasted since the much missed Baobab cafe /roasters who traded on their freshness .Coffee like this (under a few weeks since roasting) seems to have some kind of extra magic ,like an alternative /parallel ‘caffeine’ which gives you a boost without the jitters/shakes !!!I think I’ve found my new favourite roastery !
