Canada Road Trip: A One Month Suggested Itinerary

"I rode the gondola to the top for incredible views over the city and surrounding mountains; in summer there are lots of hiking trails and in winter there are ski and snowboard sections, and you can hike to the summit in 1.5–2 hours then take the gondola down for $20 CAD." - Matthew Kepnes

Must see. Amazing views of the city i think the year pass is worth it if you live in the area. I love the summer activities they have if your visiting for the first time its a must see aside from the view they have a bit going on.

Doesn't worth what you pay for. To buy the ticket on ground was a terrible experience: it took around a hour, beacuse there was just one lady at ticket office, and she was asking for the name of passenger, what took a while. After on the top, restaurant was overcrowded and very disorganised. There was almost nothing to do over there, just walk around. A lot of construction everywhere. Beautiful view.

My kids and I had so much fun. The gondola ride up the mountain was awesome and the views at the top was even more amazing. The lumber Jack show was hilarious I appreciate the effort they put into it and the bird show was fun too. My little guy was over the moon to watch the bears. In my opinion it's worth the cost. And we ended the day with snacks at from the cafe and the gondola ride down the mountain.

We had a fun trip to Grouse Mountain. Gondola ride, grizzly bears, hikes, excellent vies and sunset.. we reached late in the evening but still had a good time. Staff was friendly. Overall loved the experience.

The bcmc is a tough but nice hike. Less crowded than the grind. $25 to take the single gondola down is steep though.

We really enjoyed this part of our tour with Westcoast Sightseeing. The Gondola is wonderful. Enjoyed the Birds in Motion and Lumberjack shows which were both entertaining. Only issue was it was a super hot and sunny day and there is literally no seating with shade. Bonus, we saw Coola and Grinder!

The scenery was truly beautiful, and I really enjoyed it. In August, the weather was cool, misty, and refreshing. The lumberjack show up there was very entertaining, especially for kids. I also had the chance to see two 24-year-old grizzly bears (as of 2025), Kula and Grinder, definitely check out their story on the info board, it’s fascinating. The birds of prey show at the end of the park was exciting and impressive. There’s also a zipline and an open air gondola for more fun experiences.

Fun place to take the family, things for all ages. Shows were fun but don't have any shade so if its warm hard to sit and watch.
