EVERYTHING WAS JUST DELICIOUS! Approx Cost: $150-$200 Entrees, Mains, Desserts, worth it! My partner and I celebrated the Valentines Day together at Grown and we're so happy we did it here! Tasty and delicious food were served from entree to dessert. The ambience of the place was definitely a plus, too! Not crowded at all, just perfect for date nights either with friends/partner/family. The chef and the staff here as well were just great and professional. Highly recommended and surely we'll be back to dine here again.

Came here for a quick breakfast, and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was so good that I forgot to take a pic, and the coffees were better than most cafes in Brisbane. The staff are lovely and intuitive, even going as far as swapping my eggs out for softer boiled ones, without me even asking for a replacement from them. I'd highly recommend coming here whenever you need a feed in West End.

We found this little cafe by chance when staying at the towers right next door. It's easy to access on the elevated level, and has a ramp leading up here too for those who can't take the stairs. The atmosphere is very nice and calm. The colour scheme is fresh and the outdoor seating was beautiful with the trees and quiet roads surrounding us. As soon as I saw there was French Toast on the menu, I was sold. I was not expecting to see what came out to me. I was really pleased with the presentation and the unique take on a French toast. It looked deep fried but was so light and soft and delicious! I've never had a toast like that before. Although a little pricey, I feel it was worth it with all the fresh fruits and ice cream included. Highly recommend this place. I've been telling everyone to try the fun French Toast 🤣

A little gem tucked away in a quiet spot in West End. Prompt and friendly service, good coffee and amazing food. Today I had the Zucchini Corn Waffle dish, which was devine. I was quite happy to sit and sip my coffee while watching the world go by. Thank you I will be back again! Recommended!

Wow ... just wow! Was in the area today and called in for lunch. Awesome service and the food was incredible. The flavours in my meal were short of sensational and my business colleague said it was the best smashed avo he had EVER eaten. I had the mushrooms on sour dough, with the poached egg and halloumi. Yum boody yum!

Great coffee and amazing food! The waffle must have been made in house as it was perfectly crisp yet soft, and the espresso butterscotch sauce made it even better. The beef taco bowl was packed with flavor—the beef was so tender and well-seasoned. A fantastic spot worth visiting!

Genuinely the worst $31 I’ve ever spent. First they brought out the meal prepared wrong (Asked for no spicy chilly). They then took it back, remade it & brought it back missing dressing and without the poached egg (that costed an extra $3.5). They brought out the missing poached egg and it was hard boiled. I️ would have rather staved than have the meal they gave me. Service was excellent and our waiter was completely apologetic and handled the situation exactly right. Just terrible kitchen service. Edit for response: On the paper menu, it had chili sauce listed. On the online menu, there was also truffle dressing listed. Also you can see how difference the food is from the reference photo provided in their menu. Just not up to the high standard that it leads to you expect.

Just because this cafe is tucked away doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take a drive here. The food is prepared by a chef, who makes every plate their masterpiece. Many additional flavours were hidden amongst this carefully thought out meal. My husbands plate of food was exactly the same. They curate each meal with precision and perfection. Not to mention the coffee ☕️, it was made by staff who obviously knew what they were doing. Can’t wait to come back. Chef…… we see you 🫶. Thank you for your skills learned and provided.

Yelp
Olives with smoked cinnamon, rosemary and lime. Oh my goodness - amazing. We also had the polenta chips. Do not leave here without trying them. So absolutely delicious!! I enjoyed the lentils and slow cooked creamy polenta. My sister loved the avocado toast made with house made gluten free bread, home made Vegemite and of course, fresh avocado. The chef came out and explained all the dishes which made them extra delicious :)

Yelp
This latest addition to Brisbane's robust plant-based food scene is notable for its simplicity. The menu looks like a menu from any other Australian cafe, offering things like French toast and polenta and a wide drink selection. The fact that all of it is vegan seems almost incidental. It is as hipster as most non-vegan Brisbane cafes, but by no means intimidating for anyone not wishing to be indoctrinated in a religion or lectured about animal rights. More than perhaps any competitor I've seen thus far, this seems to be the vegan place for non-vegans. All of which is great as far as I'm concerned. The food I ordered came out remarkably well. French toast without eggs is not easy and I've seen it be a tripping point for other cafes, but theirs was creamy and satisfying. It took a decent while for me to receive it, but the carmelized sauce on top sure tasted fresh. The pepper ice cream was presumably coconut-based, but I hardly stopped to think about it as I scarfed the whole dish down. Given that I never liked eggs anyway, I was quite satisfied and gave nary a second thought to its vegan-ness. The only thing I could have asked for was a more generous helping of fruit on top. The potato cake on the side was likewise delicious, and I was glad to have sweet and savory options together. Their menu offered a nice range of things that looked appealing. They still have a few kinks to work out, in my estimation. Their drink menu looked great, but I was asked about ordering from it probably one more time than was necessary. Their recycled wood tables are atmospheric, but I felt like I almost got a splinter on one. Between their website and their actual menu, they still seem to be trying to figure out what their prices are; there was a lot of variation. They will purportedly be open for dinner in the future, which I would really like to see, but at the moment it is a breakfast and lunch place. All told, I would probably back a few more times were my stay in this country not coming to an end, and I hope they are still here when I visit again.

Yelp
Today was my first day in Brisbane and my Aussie friend brought me here to eat some vegan brekkie. The Chilled Filter black coffee was nice and smooth. The Brioche French Toast taste like I was eating a soft bread pudding. The top layer of the brioche was as if I'm eating a crepe brûlée. The Tempeh Toastie was so satisfying! I never eaten a tempeh that good. Highly recommend vegans and non vegans to eat here!

Yelp
They host a vegan chef who offers a dinner tasting menu. I believe the tasting menu events take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and you need a reservation. We came for a Tuesday evening and really enjoyed the meal. There were seven courses, and each was fresh, bright, and delicious. The wine pairing is also very nice, as you get a chance to try a lot of wines that you might not find otherwise. Overall, a great experience.

Yelp
Amazing french toast, full of flavour. Finally good vegan food in Brisbane. I have been to many vegetarian and vegan restaurants and generally they are full of process food, this was not the case.

Yelp
Holy cow. The scrambled tofu was awesome. Got a hash brown on the side - epic. The waitress was super helpful. Food came out fast. Also had the French toast, and it was beautiful. So good. Need to come to Brisbane more so that I can get these scrambled tofu

Yelp
delicious food, I would recomend this place to anybody looking for a good vegan snack while in Brisbane
