Great restaurant! Parking is a bit intense with all the towing signs. Food was amazing! There were a couple of small screw ups that could have been prevented by staff, but they arent too interested in providing the most outstanding service. Manager Ken was involved and swiftly made up for the short comings, as well as restored the original good mood we came in with. Will definitely give them another shot!

Nice ambience, but the food is average at best. The food is definitely made to cater to a mediocre pallet if you’re picking up what I’m putting down. I ordered fajitas and they didn’t even come out sizzling and my sides were room temperature if that 😒 I specifically requested black beans, not refried beans or any kind of beans that were smashed and still got refried beans 🙄 lastly I had requested Valentina, which is a slightly spicy hot sauce and my server brought back another sauce because she said they didn’t have the Valentina, which no problem. I asked if this was comparable or if it was the same and she said yes, just a little bit more spicy. I put that on my food and ruined my food. It was so hot . And I like spicy food so that’s saying something. My server was polite, but I wasn’t impressed with the service. I did request to speak with the manager. Richard was so nice so helpful and so understanding. The only reason I would come back is for Richard and happy hour. Food & drink Tropical Margarita Shrimp Fajitas w/ black beans

Attended a birthday party of about 15. Spacious bar and dining area. Waitstaff was courteous and attentive. Ashley and Jacob served our party. Ashley was responsive to requests and handled our party well. Beer-battered fish tacos and tortilla soup were very good. Brown charro beans and rice were quite good rather than just filler like other places. Music was at a good level. The restroom was clean.

I go out to eat for Mexican or Tex- Mex more than another type of food and the number of options in the Houston area is significant. The small, intimate places are often the best, but there are some larger establishments with much to offer, and one of them is Guadalajara Hacienda restaurant, next to the Katy Freeway. This is a large restaurant with abundant seating, inside and out. With so much seating, there usually isn’t a wait and if there is, it should be short. There is a large parking lot, and parking is free. You are not forced to use valet parking, which is good. And since it’s right next to the interstate highway, it’s easy to find. Guadalajara Hacienda serves the usual Tex-Mex options, like nachos, tacos, quesadillas, empanadas, fajitas, and so on. But you will find a few specialty items here, too, like sweet corn tamale cakes and several vegetarian options, as well as seafood and other menu items. These options make Guadalajara Hacienda a little different from other Tex-Mex establishments. The chef specialties and other options add variety to the choices. I like the food I have tried at this restaurant. I like that the tortillas are made fresh, in-house, and I like the overall quality of the food. There is a wide selection of beverages, and even the beer selection, I am happy to report, is better than that of most other Tex- Mex establishments, with several craft beers to go along with the usual assortment of Mexican beers. If you want a soft drink, they serve Mexican Coca Cola here, in a bottle, cold and delicious. And, as expected, they serve margaritas, mojitos, and other cocktails popular to this type of establishment. I love my Mexican and Tex Mex food and I enjoy Guadalajara Hacienda restaurant. The service is attentive, the food is tasty, and it’s easy to get inside, get seated, and enjoy your meal. It’s a good choice for this type of cuisine in the crowded and often overwhelming Houston restaurant market.

Erick the bartender was our server, he was informative and very accommodating. My first time there while waiting for my tire to be serviced next door. Amazing food and drinks!

Google
We had a fantastic waiter and the drinks were really great. I was surprised at how affordable they were they were absolutely worth it. The entree had great presentation but did taste bland. I had to add a lot of salt and pepper. But on the other hand, the chips and salsa and queso were very good. Definitely plan to come back for happy hour.

I’ve been to the Guadalajara on 59 North in Houston and that one was so good, I decided to try this one in Memorial (I10). Same wonderful service, amazing food and a beautiful atmosphere. Joselin (Jossy) our server did a wonderful job taking care of us and she had such a great personality. Mario who I believe is in charge of the kitchen, gave some amazing suggestions and you can tell by the food, he does an amazing job and he said he’s been with the company for 25+ years. We also met the manager Rob during this visit and he was pretty amazing as well. Overall, two visits and both locations are ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️! This is the best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to out of all my dining experiences. Hats off to #Guadalajara! Stay Alert & Be Safe! #SABS #CssOne

Yelp
We set at the bar this evening and ate dinner. Service was horrible, we ordered tortilla soup for dinner, it was cold. The two young ladies behind the bar do not have any since of urgency. I really like this place, i hope they get things turned around.

Yelp
The Best Mexican Restaurant that I tried since I live in Houston... The best interior design, excellent attention, music, location, EVERYTHING!!! Now in my top ten restaurant list of the town. 100% Recommend!!!!

Yelp
Smh, I just can't get enough of their lime-marinaded beef fajitas! I could eat them a few times a week, they are sooooo delicious! They came out sizzling on the hot skillet and I was all smiles! They are very tender and made with love!

Yelp
The waitress was very friendly and the restaurant is styled like an old timey villa which is comfortable. I ordered the chicken flautas which is their specialty. They were good but I feel they are over priced for the quality/quantity of each meal. I will not go here again because of the e prices and portion sizes. Their hot sauces are also pretty bland and not spicy enough.

Yelp
Fajitas are good, i love margaritas, nice vibe on here, service was great, tres leches my favorite.

Yelp
Plenty of parking at this location and it's free. There is outdoor and indoor sitting which can be nice if the weather is nice and you like listening to traffic on interstate 10. The hostess sited husband and I near the windows which was nice as I found the restaurant to be rather dark. We were greeted with glasses of water, red sauce and chips. I asked if they had green sauce and they did so our waiter got us some for free. We placed our food order which did not take long to come out. Overall the food was good, the appearance of the plates was good but once we got our food we didn't see our waiter till the bill came. I do recommend this restaurant as the food is good and the prices are fair.

Yelp
The place was packed, probably because of graduation celebrations. Nevertheless, Aileen was a fantastic waitress. The chips are served with red and green salsas. I love to mix the salsas. I ordered a chopped salad. Though I didn't get any meat with the salad, it was a generous serving. I chose the cilantro creamy dressing. It's delicious. My friends loved their meals. Aileen gave my friends plenty of chips to go. This location is not far for me. I should frequent it more often.

Yelp
My family had dinner here last night. Solid restaurant. Ambience is fitting for Tex-Mex restaurant. Casual vibe. The service was good. Overall, I would give the food 3.5/5. We all shared a couple of entrée items: Chips/Salsa - 4/5: Chips are thin, crispy but not greasy. Salsa is typical red salsa, and good-very good. Enchilada Marisco - 3.5/5: Seafood enchilada. A single enchilada but fairly large. I'm glad we shared this as the sauce is so think, creamy and rich, I don't think I could have finished one by myself without getting sick of the sauce. If you eat a small portion, it's good. Guadalupe Lime Beef Fajitas (8 oz of meat) - 3.5/5: The lime flavor is very forward, which we liked. This was definitely big enough to share for 2 people. The meat had good seasoning and flavor. I thought the dish needed more sautéed vegetables (onions and bell peppers). Overall, very down the middle of the fairway Tex-Mex restaurant.

Yelp
We sat at the bar for 20 minutes before we were served after giving two different bar tenders took our order and then promptly did nothing but look at their phones. A friend was in the dining room and came to the bar to get drinks because their server couldn't get their order . She waited as well. The restaurant wasn't that busy. Our friends joined us at a table in the bar and they ordered drinks and they repeatedly asked for their drinks. We got a manager involved and he comped our appetizer. We didn't ask to be comped . We just want average service. My credit card sent me a notice that my Tip of $10.00 ( based on 48 .00 including tax ) was changed from $ 10. 00 to $16.00 . I always final out my bill and keep the receipt. Who changed this ??? Their food is no better than any other Mexican Restaurant in Houston. You make the call , I know I won't be back.

Yelp
Great HH selections. The bar staff is a little too anxious - give a girl a second to sit down and look at my drink options (lol). HH bar bites were good (would recommend leaving out the beef from queso). Wasn't a fan of the Paloma or the Mule - but the beer was nice and cold. My friend had a few Skinny Ritas - again, okay, not great. All in all - definitely a repeat HH place.

Yelp
A friend of mine brought me here stating this was his favorite tex-mex restaurant. We sat in the patio area and were greeted immediately. We immediately ordered margaritas to start. They were sooooo good! We weren't too hungry so we shared the beef fajita plate. This plate is enough for two people in my opinion. It comes with the rice, your choice of beans, and your choice of toritlla. Everything was delicious! After we finished eating, we closed out at our table and moved to the bar to keep drinking. We really could not get enough of those margaritas. Overall this really was a great tex-mex restaurant. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
We had early dinner yesterday and we've been here plenty of times. It was a rainy day around 5:30 pm restaurant wasn't busy so getting a table for 5 was simple with no wait. The restaurant wasn't crazy loud so that was nice. I ordered regular frozen margarita which was refreshing and the right amount of tequila. My daughter ordered the frozen mango margarita and it tasted like a mango smoothie instead. Halfway thru her drink she had to get another be because a bug made landing in her cup. The food entrees have never disappointed us. Both the jalapeño beef and chicken enchiladas were plentiful in serving and packed with delicious flavors.

Yelp
I had happy hour with my friends last night. The drinks specials are decent and the service is really good. I love their chips and salsa. They have both red and green but you have to ask for the green (it is the best!). I didn't eat this time, but I have always enjoyed their food each time I have been. The restaurant itself is quite large. They have outdoor seating, bar tables and regular inside seating. The only thing I don't like is the smell. The table tops are all metal and I can smell the metal throughout the entire place. I hate that smell. I know I have a very sensitive smeller, so I hesitate to even comment most of the time, but one of my friends in our group said the same thing! I guess I feel validated now. Haha. In addition, because the tables are metal, they are super cold to the touch. I use a napkin each time when resting my arms on the table. It's not a deal breaker, but it's also not my first choice of places to go. I will say, the food is great and the portions are large. The presentation is always nice. They do a good job.

Yelp
We eat there all the time Great food Please put ur large tacos on a plate by itself Was too soggy to eat ask for another one on a plate waitress brought one out Very friendly Will be BACK

Yelp
Definitely adding Guadalajara to the rotation. Service was on point beginning to end. I walked in the door looking for my friend and the guy thought about it and led me right to her. Our waitress was awesome and on point, I didn't get her name guess since I came late but I'd definitely update when I find out. I started with the mangonada and it was quite delicious and with the candy wrapped straw...heaven! The chips and sauces were good but the avocado based one is definitely not as good as Chuy's but it's still alright. For the entree I went with the enchiladas combo. It came with 2 enchiladas (one cheesy cheesy cheese, one ground beef) and a tamale all covered in their signature gravy. Also included a pretty big taco and rice and beans. I enjoyed most of it but it's definitely something in their ground beef that I don't like. I also tried the empanadas with queso and the green salsa and it was good. All the food was served hot, it wasn't that packed in there, good service...I'd definitely return!

Yelp
The inside was beautiful. Being midday, it wasn't busy at all. I was promptly seated and served fresh chips and a very mild, almost sweet red salsa. I ordered a lunch combo with a jalapeño beef enchilada, a chicken taco, rice and beans. Served on a warm plate, it looked delicious. The thin but rich jalapeño cream sauce made the dish. The rice was fluffy and you could taste the cumin. The gilled chicken in the taco was moist, pairing well with the spicy refried beans. Good lunch spot. As I was going to a meeting I didn't get to try the great margaritas a friend had suggested. Maybe next time!

Yelp
I live in Jersey but come home to Houston every few months and my top request is always to eat at Guadalajara. We usually fill ourselves up with so much chips and salsa that we barely have room for our main entree but this habit cannot be stopped. The salsa here is absolutely top-notch. It's everything you want in a salsa. I wish I could buy jars to bring back to NJ with me. I ordered the flautas and like to jazz them up with a few extra toppings. The filling is yummy and the outside is crispy. *not shown the queso blanco I ordered on the side for dipping, a must! I can't wait to go back home in December to eat this again!

Yelp
Ample parking. Good service. We split the beef fajitas; the flavor was delicious and the meat was tender. Their house margaritas were good and strong!

Yelp
So I was recently in a country other than Mexico, and it made me want Tex-Mex on a Wednesday..... What a fine decision that was!!! H-Town has a plethora of dining options and it can be quite difficult to choose sometimes. Thankfully, my craving for Tex-Mex let me to Guadalajara Hacienda! This was possibly some of the best Tex-Mex I've had in quite some time!!! The service was fast and attentive. The chips and dip were delightful. And the main course... was absolutely spectacular!!! Highly Recommend Guadalajara Hacienda!

Yelp
We are vegetarians and find this place very vegetarian/vegan friendly with a good variety of choices- vegetarian menu and gluten free menu. The service here is always superb! Tonight Vivien was wonderful- she was friendly and attentive to our needs and shared that she had been a vegetarian and had great suggestions on what was available for our needs. Be sure and ask for Vivien. Wish her the best. We love the Ambiance - the Decor makes one feel immersed in Mexican culture. The table and chairs are very comfortable . Highly recommend.

Yelp
I got the Rosie's Chicken Flautas, it was good but there could have been more sauce. The service was great. The ambiance is nice as well.

Yelp
I was mistakenly charged an additional $220 more than what I signed off on my receipt. Thankfully I kept my receipt from this visit.

Yelp
Text Max at its finest. Food consistently good. Love the table side, guacamole! The staff are always pleasant and friendly. Is my favorite when I'm looking for a Mexican food dinner

Yelp
Love the food, green sauce dip, the atmosphere and the service . I feel in the mountains of Mexico when I am there.

Yelp
With Tex-Mex restaurants being a diamond a dozen here in Houston, you really have to be on your a game to bring people in. This place has a good amount of parking that it shares with another restaurant next-door. It offers both inside and patio dining. Food options are pretty standard compared to other Tex-Mex places. Personally, I had the bacon wrap shrimp plate. Everything was good no complaints with the food. Service wise they miss the mark! Our waitress had a little to no personality whatsoever. No follow up after she dropped off the food nor check in to see if we wanted more drinks or wanted to order anything additional. Each time we wanted something we had to look for her and try to flag her down and make eye contact which was annoying. All in all I ordered two entrées four margaritas and a to go plate. When she brought me the to go plate, there was no silverware, napkins, salsa or any other condiments offered with the plate just the food. When I asked her to bring me a small container of salsa, she told me that she will have to charge me extra for that. Who does that?? I had bought food to go so at the very least you should include that with my meal. After she said that I asked one of the other waiters if I could have a small thing of salsa, he told me no problem and brought me one. So this makes me think she was either being petty or lying about the up charge. This seems to be a going routine. I have visited their downtown location a few times and they pull this nickel and dime act also. The service is not great either. Personally, I'm done with this franchise. I won't be visiting any of their other restaurants, especially when there's so many options to choose from in Houston. FYI Pappasitos is a short drive away.

William L.

Yelp
Wonderful Service and Great Food! This place has been one our favorite Tex-Mex Restaurants for a long time! Yes To Fajitas! Yes To Seafood! Yes To Enchiladas! Yes To Queso! Chips & Salsa...Great!
google avatar

Fox E.

Yelp
Guad to you want me to say, that it's the best food in town? Not close. But it's good. This is a delicious place with good Tex-Mex. They have nice workers and the prices are fair but not cheap. It's definitely not bad. It could be better in some regard but we still like coming here and it's still one of the better ones. Tex-Mex is not my favourite cuisine, but if I'm going to eat it, this is one of the places I will eat it. And we like the Poblano Soup.

Yelp
After church on Sunday with my wifey and she wanted Mexican food so we decided why not go here? A little dude note if your heading to this restaurant going on I-10 west, do not use Siri for directions! Unless you like traveling through side neighborhoods with lots of children playing in the streets, going through tons of stop signs and having to be careful not too run over any stray dogs! All you need to do is exit to the feeder and make a uturn under the freeway, sure it's 100 feet longer than siris directions but come on man! Ok sorry about that tangent, let's get back to the review! So we sat siren and wanted queso, and the waiter asked do you want the white or the yellow? Not being used to two different colored queso's we said just give us both. We couldn't really taste a difference, but I'm old school and I only tried the yellow queso. But word around the table is both were good. I decided to order the Shrimp Avocado Relleno, but sub grilled chicken for the shrimp. Having never ordered this before I wasn't sure what to expect. When it came out it kinda looked like vomit on a plate with colored tortilla strips placed on top, and I was a little scared to try it. (see picture-sometimes it's better to eat with your eyes closed) I did because who's not hungry Sunday afternoon after church and I must admit it tasted a lot better than it looked. It also comes with a Tex-Mex orzo salad, which is some kind of really small cold salad with a couple pieces of spinach on the side. It looked pretty and tasted good, but word Of advice, eat this quickly and get back to your main dish, or you will find the melted cheese from the avocado relleno starts to harden back to the plate and makes this dish hard to eat. I've heard their line fajita beef is pretty good, so if I ever come back I may have to try that.
google avatar

Regina N.

Yelp
We still hadn't found a good Mexican place in Houston so we decided to try this place as it was conveniently located. Dropped in on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed with big groups and families. Ordered enchiladas and flautas and food came out lukewarm and not as tasty as we were expecting. Ended up eating one flauta and ditching the rest of the meal and nibbled on their chips. Enchiladas were just average but service was decent.

Robert M.

Yelp
I'm surprised this location does not have higher ratings but here goes. I'm a huge Tex-Mex fan and this is my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant aside from Gloria's and ninfas original. This location always has the best service. Their salsa and chips is delicious and their fajitas and enchilada plates are so good. Drinks are great! Literally love this restaurant.

Daysi L.

Yelp
the decor is so cute! very bougie. our waitress was super sweet. i don't really remember too much cause this was like a month ago but i know this plate was deliciousssss just expensive as hell but it was on my dads dime so u know. but still good ladies come here on ur man's dime
google avatar

Alyssa A.

Yelp
Love coming here with friends after church on Sunday because you can actually hear each other talk, even when it's packed, and also, their lunch menu is offered, even on weekends. Great for a large group!
google avatar

Daryien G.

Yelp
Met my mom here for happy hour on 08/08/2022. They're one of the few Mexican restaurants (with good food) that's actually still offering happy hour. Four house margaritas, two of them with a Grand Marnier floater, only ~30.00 The younger male bartender was really nice and attentive, definitely has the personality for the job. I HATE that I cant include his name (he wasn't wearing a name tag) and I believe I left my copy of the receipt at the restaurant ‍ Will return soon

Annette W.

Yelp
This is one of favorite Mexican restaurants. We especially love their Guacamole and queso. As for our entrees, we've had no complaints about anything we've ordered. We think the prices are quite reasonable for the food we get. Service is great as well.
google avatar

L M.

Yelp
Happy Hour Frozen Margarita... yes!!! My first time here. Salas were so fresh and fab, chips warm and crunchy. Service fantastic at the bar. Get off that Katy Freeway and come sit for a nice beverage! Really impressed with this place. I will be back again.

Paula M.

Yelp
Giving it two stars because the host was nice. I was looking for a place to watch a game. As soon as I walked in, I let them know I would only be staying if they were showing the game. Hostess said they'd put it on for me. She lets the people at the bar know. Ten minutes later, nothing. No server, no game. I ask the hostess again. Bartender annoyingly signals that he knows. Proceeds to try and find the game. Puts on different channel. And continues. I look at him mouthing "game?" Turns around as I didn't exist. Needless to say, I left and won't be coming back
google avatar

Virginia M.

Yelp
Worst service ever provided by Regina. We went to celebrate a birthday and her energy just killed the vibe. The on top of that she was slow to bring out food drink and didn't check on the table once we did get our food and drinks. Then she just brought the bill without anyone asking. Over charged for drinks that never made it to the table then said I can get you the drink to go. NO!! Just credit it because we don't order!! Don't go back and forth with customers.
google avatar

Cassandra M.

Yelp
I have eaten at the restaurant and love it. But, this particular review is in regards to catering/delivery (they call it bulk order & delivery). I sent a catering inquiry online and was contacted by one of their representatives (Holley). Holley made the process really easy and was able to answer my questions. Now, I can just send her an email of my order and then someone calls me for my payment information. I have ordered delivery from them several times now and it is always early, the delivery person (not 3rd party delivery, this is an employee of Guadalajara) is always very helpful and the food does NOT disappoint. Everything is so good, everyone loves it. And, the tres leches is to die for! I consider myself a bit of a tres leches connoisseur, and this one might be the best I have ever had! (And, I have had a lot!)

Yelp

Yelp
Good parrillas with fajita, chicken and shrimp. Can get a bit loud and service is ok. A little pricey, but quality food

Yelp
Food was mediocre but VERY EXPENSIVE. I paid over $20 for enchiladas and a coke. Service was good

Yelp
Food service and ambiance great Wide range of plates to choose from Drinks are cold and adult beverages good
google avatar

Yelp
Nice atmosphere. The service is very good. The margaritas are very good. The food is very bland. We ordered starters. Guacamole 5/5 (the accompanying chips very good), chicken nachos 3/5, and street tacos 3/5. Just needed some spice.
google avatar

Eloy C.

Yelp
By far my favorite Mexican restaurant in Houston. The waiter gave us extra chips and red salsa. The food was delicious and seasoned just right. You have the option to sit inside or outside, which you'll get a perfect view. The price was a little higher than other Mexican restaurants but it's all worth it. Only complaint is that the tables are very close to each other and the staff like to sit parties close.
google avatar

Ema P.

Yelp
Service was nice. The appetizers and food were great.. we had the appetizer platter in the guacamole. For our entree we had the beef fajitas and for dessert we had the sopapillas. Yum yum yum. Also, their virgin mojitos were awesome!

Ro P.

Yelp
Drink was horrible. Food was horrible. Had a margarita and no color no taste could not even drink it taste like water and just alcohol. Seafood Enchiladas

Yelp
Get the baby quail....I know but it's tender smokey and delicious! The guacamole is fresh made. The service is very attentive. Wendy O was darling. We ran her around fetching multiple extra bowls of salsa for the paper thin chips. Get the quail.....dip it in melting hot garlic butter

John H.

Yelp
The food is the best Mexican food all of Houston. Service and Ambiance is excellent, a must try!! Server Mo is awe
