"There's a Spanish train that runs between Guadalquivir and old Seville.." Chris de Burg song Spanish Train. We got to see this river in Seville where it was of substantial size. We also got to see it in Cordoba in September where the water level was very low after a dry summer. If in Cardoba make sure to go and see the Roman bridge (and tower on the far side)

Maybe on a cooler day it would be a nice walk along the river but otherwise nothing really impressive

Indulge in the history of the Moorish civilization and listen to the music coming from AlBayçin .. What an experience!

A beautiful river that changes dramatically through the seasons as it winds through Córdoba

Very green river - presumably from farmers upstream. Not very attractive and probably ecologically dead I presume. Edit: was back this year and discovered that what everyone thinks is the river is actually a big boating pond. Actual river is a mile to the west.
