Such a jewel of a little hotel. Super friendly (family owned) staff, nice breakfast, Very Clean room! Also very safe parking, felt well cared for. Like I said, its a jewel! Since its in a neighborhood, it's a slower pace. May not be the best place for a handicapped person however, but if you call, the owners can help you decide if it would work for someone with special needs.

We have stayed here a couple of times and each time it has been an amazing experience. The rooms are comfortable and it is a super quiet neighborhood close to anything you would want to do. The couple that runs it are incredibly kind and amazing people. Highly recommend!

We had hoped we had found another cute place to stay on our trips to Santa Fe but after complaining in an email and never getting a response back, we've crossed this one of our list of places to stay. We can say it is in a convenient, quiet location and the staff we met were friendly and helpful. However, we are very disappointed to find out, too late in the evening, that the Jacuzzi bath did not work in our room. This was something we were looking forward to when we booked the room for our anniversary trip. It is missing one knob but had no power anyway; this was after we found the shower and bathroom floor had dirty boot prints, perhaps from when someone was trying to fix the broken tile (still broken) in the shower. It would have been nice if the owner or management cared enough to have acknowledged our concerns.

I really wanted to love this place but, it is charming, lovely, quaint, with very welcoming hosts. But.... We stayed in two different rooms on a two night stay, so we got to experience two different spaces. The rooms are clean and decorated very nicely. One bed, room 7, was very comfortable, the second bed, room 2, was VERY soft and uncomfortable. In general there is a lack of attention to details which perhaps is an issue of assuming staff is doing their job when they are not. In one room the toilet paper holder was broken off the wall, in the other there was no wand on the mini blinds so you could not adjust them. There are wires running to things that should be neatly attached. Because our stay required leaving our first room completely and then checking back into our next room the nexr day, I was assured someone would call and let us know as soon that room was available. No one did. I almost had a bad fall stepping off a bottom stair because there were no lights working in a very dark stairwell. I noticed later that night that they were on, so apparently the timer had not been adjusted correctly. These are all small things but collectively it points to a lack of attention.

We've stayed at the Guadalupe Inn several times while visiting friends in Santa Fe. During our last stay at the Guadalupe Inn in October we forgot my wife's favorite couch pillow we like to use when traveling. Two days later we realized we left the pillow in our room. We called and got Jacob on the phone who told us he would check with the housekeeping staff to see if our pillow had been turned in. The next day we got a call that our pillow had been turned in. We asked if we could send a box with prepaid postage and have the pillow mailed back to us. Jacob said they would do that for us. When our box arrived, Alan put the pillow in our box and took it to the post office for us. A few days later we got our pillow back in perfect condition. My wife was overjoyed. The Guadalupe Inn is a small in located walking distance from the Santa Fe railyard and plaza. We love the Inn and everyone has been very accommodating whenever we've stayed there. This time, Jacob and Alan provided exceptional service in locating our pillow and getting it back to us. We highly recommend the Inn and its staff if you ever want a great place to stay in Santa Fe. It's a great place to stay and the people could not be nicer.

Carol and all the staff are absolutely fabulous. It’s an AMAZING deal since of the balloon fest is happening and everything in town was over $300 — and bonus it’s adorable and comfortable. I couldn’t be happier. We will be back and I HIGHLY recommend.

We recently stayed at the Guadalupe Inn to visit the Contemporary Spanish Market. What a lovely place! From the time I made the reservation to the time I left, the staff was phenomenal! The room was more than adequate. The breakfast was delicious & atmosphere was perfect. It was within walking distance from the Market so they allowed me to leave my car so I didn’t have to search for parking—that was a great bonus! Next time I visit Santa Fe I will surely book a room at the Santa Fe Inn again! Thx😎

Google
I love everything about this place! The location is excellent, the staff (particularly Alan and Lee Ann) are friendly, helpful and kind..My room, which had a fireplace, a jacuzzi, and colorful modern southwest inspired paintings, was beautiful! The bed was extremely comfortable. Next time I'm in Santa Fe I will definitely stay at Guadalupe Inn again!

Yelp
Cute, warm and clean little place with friendly and helpful staff.

Yelp
We just stayed here for two nights. The place is lovely, close to everything in downtown Santa Fe, very reasonably priced. It is family run and owners are incredibly nice. We highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Santa Fe

Yelp
Very cute and rustic hotel 5 minutes away from old town Santa Fe. We had stayed here in '19 and we were excited to be back. Judging from the reviews I'm glad we stay on the top room both times lol *whew*. This time around the stay was almost as good as the first time. Few things; there is only one AC unit in our room and there were 2 walls blocking it. A really bad design imo. Had several hot nights and the room never really got cool. And the other thing was the breakfast...it's not good. They used to make waffles but I'm guessing they don't anymore because no one offered that option to us. Aside from the AC and the underwhelming breakfast we had a great stay and the staff is very friendly.

Yelp
Guadalupe Inn is a small, family-run hotel in Santa Fe, close to the plaza and arts district. We found Guadalupe Inn through Expedia, and am glad we did. It was a pleasant stay. We arrived in Santa Fe in the late morning, so decided to see if we could check-in early before the standard 3pm time. Although our room wasn't ready, the staff did get our room ready by 1pm, which was so nice of them. In the meantime, they allowed us to keep our car parked in the lot while we walked to the plaza area. We were in room 12, as all of the rooms are different and have their own decorum. Our room was nice! We had a queen size bed and found the room to be a good size for just the two of us. The bathroom was really nice, as it had a shower with a jetted tub. Our room also came with a fridge, TV, toiletries, and bottled waters. Free parking on the premises, too! We did face some issues, one with a spotty wifi, so at times it was better to use data than the wifi, which was a minor problem. But the bigger issue we had was the fact that we couldn't turn the temperature down below 72 because it freezes. With that said, it was hard for us to sleep at night since we were both too hot from the temperature. We're used to sleeping nearly 10 degrees below that, so it was tough for us to get used to. In addition to the hotel stay here, it comes with a complimentary continental breakfast, which was solid! Although it's a continental breakfast with the basic items such as fruit, pastries and hard-boiled eggs, they make their own waffles here, which is truly a treat! Victory waffles, indeed, as Leslie Knope would say. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Guadalupe Inn! It felt like staying at a friend's house than a hotel, with the friendliest staff, and cozy and welcoming atmosphere.

Yelp
Great little place not too far from the Plaza. Spacious accommodations with fireplace and outdoor seating area. Nice and clean. Parking is a little tight but we have a big truck. Price is decent. My only complaint is the noisy bed in our room. We did enjoy our stay here.

Lydia G.

Yelp
Cute little bed and breakfast. I found this place through a booking website and did not realize it was a bed and breakfast. I just saw the great reviews, great price and great location. To be honest if I knew it was a bed and breakfast I would not have booked. That being said you are not inside someone's home per se. the rooms are built alongside like a standard motel would be. The breakfast had tea, coffee, yogurt, toast, hard boiled eggs, mini muffins, a variety of fruit, and instant oatmeal. There were no waffles as in some of the reviews so maybe that is a weekend thing or no more. But the owner was so nice I wouldnt be surprised if he got us some upon mentioning! The beds were comfortable unlike some reviews have stated. It also was very quiet in our room. Talking with the owner and dealing with any of the staff in general was very pleasant. Minus one star because no ac in the room. Sleeping was very uncomfortable, even though the firmness of bed was spot on because of no air flow and the bedding was made of unbreathable too soft material. I opened a window to make it more comfortable on our last night but then some birds group before the sun and the chirping ruined my sleep. For reference it was high 50s/ low 60s while we were there and an open window made it more comfortable not too cold. I also didn't like how reviewers said the second bed was in a separate room, however I wouldn't call it a separate room. It is all in the same room with no partition, the beds are just not right next to each other like a standard double hotel room would be. The "separate" room was a reason I was sold on this Inn and it wasn't even. To be honest I personally would not stay here again due to those reasons however if you're comfortable with that stuff then this is a great place for you

Yelp
I stayed here for 4 days ,worst coffee ever ! the beds were sagging ,for the price it was bad ! However the people who work there are great .

Rob O.

Yelp
The only thing that keeps me from giving this quaint little hotel a 5-star rating would be a similar experience to other reviews that I read (after the fact, unfortunately). If you stay, request an upstairs room!! If you are on the bottom floor, there is NO chance of sleeping in or enjoying some peace & quiet, as you can hear every foot step from above! The floors creak, so the people getting up @ 6am above, kept me from enjoying some much needed R&R and not having to wake up at 6am, like every other day. Had the S#*% scared out of me a couple of times with things that were dropped on the floor above. Also, the traffic can get a bit noisy as well on AguaFria, although not their fault. The room was great, bed was a little worn and soft, but still comfortable. The little patio outside was nice, even with the traffic at times. I'll stay here again, if I get back to Santa Fe, but you can bet, I will be staying in an upstairs room!

Yelp
We absolutely loved our stay at the Guadalupe Inn. Our adorable room was spotlessly clean, nice and warm, and adorned with local art. We enjoyed hearing stories from the owner about the history and his heritage while we had breakfast. We wished we were staying longer!

Dena A.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about this place and the people who work here. I ended up staying here last minute on my way to Taos and needed an affordable place that was close to downtown. I found Guadalupe Inn on Booking.com where it was sold out, but when I called there was a room available and they were kind enough to give me a discounted rate close to what Booking.com offered. The room itself was adorable and huge, with two beds, a fireplace, a nice balcony and even a bath tub with jets. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. The location was perfect; I was able to walk to the Georgia O'Keefe museum downtown in less than 10 minutes and all the downtown attractions (restaurants, the plaza) were equally walkable. The best part of the experience, however, was the people. This is a family-owned business and it was clear everyone really cares about making their guests feel at home. Doug, especially, was great and went out of his way to make sure my stay was comfortable. He helped me with the discounted rate, lugged my heavy suitcase up the stairs for me and even gave me a ride to the airport the next day so I wouldn't have to take a Lyft (refusing a tip when I offered). I'm very grateful to him and to the Inn for making my short stay in Santa Fe such a lovely experience.

Yelp
Thank you SO much for another wonderful stay at your beautiful Inn! My friend & I have passed through Santa Fe several times, and we've stayed at the Guadalupe Inn twice; We are delighted to have discovered your Inn and we cannot imagine staying anywhere else; WE LOVE IT!!! We're thrilled that you could accomodate us & we're already looking forward to our next visit.

Yelp
I'm really conflicted about my feelings about the Guadalupe Inn. I really wanted to love it (and there are many things to like), but had to dock a few stars based on some pretty real issues with our room. PROS: - Staff was very nice and accommodating. We needed to check in after the normal office hours and had no problem getting a hold of the night manager via phone. They had good recommendations on places to eat and things to do. - Nice mom and pop vibe. I don't know who owns this place, but it seems to be a local operation. I like that it wasn't some cookie-cutter hotel. - Location is fantastic. It's very easy to walk to the center of town and do all the normal Santa Fe tourist things from this location. It's particularly close to the cool and hip Railyard area where there is a farmer's market on Saturdays and the cool SITE museum. This area of town seems to have the best restaurants - the kinds of places locals go to and aren't just some tourist trap. - Free parking. I think it's one car per room. I saw someone else complained about the parking and the safety of the parking situation, but I couldn't figure out for the life of me why. No problem from my perspective. - Continental breakfast is good. We were there on New Year's Day and they made a special set of waffles and had real maple syrup available. It's a continental breakfast so it's nothing fancy, but it's free and it does the job no problem. - Rooms are cute as a button with a southwest decor. The furniture and fixtures are not modern, but they have an adorable homey vibe which I liked very much. Everything was clean. - Internet. Didn't have any issues with the internet and we were in the unit furthest away from the main building, so don't agree with what the other yelper said about the internet being slow. - Cost. Great value for the excellent location. CONS: - Heating. I tried fiddling with the thermostat to figure out if we could make it warmer at night. (We were there in Dec/Jan.) I turned up the temperature and turned to "Heat" but it didn't seem to do any good. It can get fairly chilly at night. Granted, we just wore some thermals and we were fine, and we didn't ask the staff for an extra blanket or anything, so I can't fault them too much on this - just wished it was clearer how the place could get toastier. - Noise. I agree with some of the other folks who said that being on the 1st floor under a 2nd-floor room can be pretty noisy. You can hear all the footsteps of the people above and their murmured conversations. You can hear them arriving at 6am in the morning clomping up the stairs, putting their bags down. You can hear them getting ready in the morning, and you can predict when they will walk down the stairs and past your window. One of the days must've been garbage pickup because I could hear the truck quite loudly around the backside of the building in the early morning. - Leak from above. We were in unit 8, which is the one with the kitchen, and whenever the people above us would take a shower, their shower water would leak onto the shelf in the kitchen. This deterred us from using that whole area of our room because, yuck, someone else's shower water in the kitchen sink and related areas! We notified the staff and they apologized. They said that because it was a historic building they couldn't get things fixed right away. We ended up leaving a bowl on top of the kitchen shelf to collect the water so it wouldn't further ruin the wood. The noise and the leaking we experienced on our first night made us try searching for another place to stay, but since we were there during the holidays everything else with a decent price/location was booked. We decided to stay for the remaining days because we did like everything mentioned in the PROs list. Based on the other reviews it sounds like if you have a 2nd-floor room you'll probably have a lovely time. I would just advise people be aware of the potential problems if their room is on the 1st floor - and if you can look past some of those issues, there are still many things to like about the Guadalupe Inn.

Yelp
The Guadalupe Inn was wonderful in every way. My best friend and I stayed one night, April 9th, in room 4. It wasn't nearly long enough to take everything in. There were two queen beds, one in a separate bedroom, a large living room with fireplace and lots of comfortable seating, a lovely balcony and a beautiful bathroom with shower and jacuzzi tub. Decorated in southwestern style with amazing attention to detail. Very comfortable, dreamy beds. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful. I will recommend this jewel to everyone I know.

Yelp
I didn't love it. Didn't hate it either. Pros: location! About .5 mi from old Santa Fe. Pretty good Indian food restraint 400 ft down the street. About 1.5 hrs from Taos. It was shockingly quiet too. Hard wood floors made it seem like noise should have been a problem... but it wasn't. This isn't a place to party you'll probably be kicked out. The lady seems nice that runs the place but at the same time, came off as a micro manager. The shower head: wow. Best shower head ever. Felt like I was in a waterfall. Cons: the manager. Parking was weird. Security not really an issue but I felt like it could have been if someone really tried. All in all, I might stay there again next time I'm in town.

Alan B.

Yelp
Dont expect a lot of comfort, but you do get a very good value. Most places this close into down town are $250+ a night. This place is about $90. You get convenience and covered parking (great in winter). The simple continental breakfast is fine and there is wifi. So all your basic needs are met. In the negative department, my bed was not great. Not awful but just not all that good. The plumping was very noisy. In fact, when someone in another unit too a shower at 6am, it woke me up 2 mornings in a row. And the shower head was really weird in how it sprayed water. The room itself was clean although just very tired. If this were is a low cost area, it would get 2 stars because you could do a lot better with a modern Whatever Suites style hotel. But given its location and the high price of other options, it is a tolerable place with a great value.

Yelp
I wanted to show my daughter Santa Fe on a road trip from Omaha NE to Tucson AZ. I had no idea where we could stay and then my daughter found Guadalupe Inn for $80 a night on Priceline. What an extremely great find! The rooms were adorable, comfortable, and decorated in the Santa Fe style. We were sad to here that it is no longer a B&B due to one of the founding sisters being sick, but there was still a great continental breakfast and warm homey feel to our stay. THE COFFEE WAS AMAZING! Both of the receptionists that we met gave us great recommendations for food, places to visit, and shop. They were extremely friendly and hospitable! The inn is also not very far from all the great downtown destinations, you must go see the hidden gem down the street from the inn, the Guadalupe Church, as well! Our visit was fantastic!

Carlos K.

Yelp
We had a wonderful stay at the inn. The rooms are incredibly clean and cozy. Our room was upstairs. It had 2 queen beds (one was in a separate bedroom), a living room, a balcony, a bathtub, and a shower. The location is great. It's walking distance to the downtown Santa Fe area where there are plenty of shops, restaurants, bars, and art galleries. The staff was incredibly attentive and accommodating to our needs and requests. Especially Leonore, she made us feel welcomed and made sure we were comfortable. The continental breakfast is served from 8-10am and included waffles, cereals, fruits, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, juice, coffee, and an assortment of teas. I highly recommend the inn and look forward to staying here again.

Yelp
Can't say enough great things about this place. Within walking distance of great food and many sites. Nice continental breakfast. Wonderful front office staff. Unique, cozy rooms in a safe location. Great for ladies traveling on their own (I went with two friends and we felt totally safe).

ClassicGirl Z.

Yelp
We really loved this place - the photos don't do it justice. The rooms are not large but they are unique and very southwest. It felt much more like an Inn than a hotel. We had the honeymoon suite which included a clawed bathtub with a moving door so that you could have the bed next to the bathtub with 4 way mirrors. Ooo La la! Which is all well and good until someone has to use the toilet and there are no real ways to close the "wall" between the bedroom and the bathroom. My husband and I took turns going into the sitting room or the balcony to give each other some privacy. LOL Also, if you get the room with the tub, there is no shower. That being said, its an awesome tub and I highly recommend it if your into that type thing. Im also in love with the headboard on the bed in this room. It was made of sticks. Also - if you use the AC - PULL the buttons to turn it on NOT push. It took us 15 minutes to figure this out. Dont miss breakfast - a great coffee bar and homemade muffins. Love our balcony so much too. If we come back to Santa Fe - Im going to stay here. All the staff was lovely too including a little toddler who was so the cutest hotel employee ever. Thanks for the kindess.

Janie T.

Yelp
My husband and I are leaving this charming little hideaway today. We have enjoyed our stay very much in the deluxe junior suite with its cozy little balcony and fireplace. It is VERY quiet with the exception of the 5:00 AM alarm clock of finch singing outside our window. Seriously!!! The sun is not even up. We have walked everywhere!! The Inn is very close to the Plaza, the Santa Fe Railyard District, Canyon Road and nice restaurants. We walked to all of these places. When we arrived, we told our host that we would be leaving early the next morning to drive to Abiquiu. He promptly provided us with yogurt, homemade muffins, and boiled eggs, since breakfast does not open until 8:00 AM. We were able to store the food in a small refrigerator and warm the muffins in the microwave provided in our room. Oh, also, there is bottled water in the room.......no extra charge!! A real plus in my book, along with the fast, free wifi!! The bathroom was very spacious with a large shower and nice jacuzzi tub. Plus, a separate fan switch (yea) and another soft lighting switch, rather than the just typical glaring light over the sink. The suite was spacious with lots of storage, tall pretty split beam ceilings, nice soft lighting (I am into soft lighting - can you tell), and a separate seating area in front of the fireplace. There is also an AC unit. We think this is the best kept secret in Santa Fe for the money. We would definitely stay here again!!

Sheila C.

Yelp
What a gem of a find. Doesn't look like much from outside but awesome on inside clean quiet and a staff willing to accomadate your needs. Call them directly and you will get the same price as priceline. Would diffently stay here again

Samantha G.

Yelp
Booked this through Hotels.com and was pleasantly surprised! We were driving through New Mexico and wanted to stop in Santa Fe. I'd never been to Santa Fe, so I was a bit surprised at how small and cozy the city is. Guadalupe Inn is quaint to match! It is a small locally owned inn with about a dozen rooms. We notified the manager that we would be arriving late, and he was nice enough to accommodate us and help us get settled. He escorted us to our room and made sure we had enough pillows and towels. Added and completely unexpected BONUS: our room had a clawfoot bathtub! We stayed in a room with a queen sized bed and a small living area with a pull out couch. It was perfect for our group of 3. I'm not sure if all of the other rooms have clawfoot bathtubs as well, but it was the most glorious, warm bath after a long driving day. 1 star removed due to the wifi not being super consistent. The manager had to reboot the modem a couple of times, and I still had problems connecting.

Adam B.

Yelp
Great place, has character and a real breakfast worth waking up for, for free.

Martha T.

Yelp
This inn is fantastic! It's small (12 rooms, I believe), two stories, with each room having a unique Southwestern decor, including tile, paintings, lighting, and weavings. We have returned here repeatedly, have been welcomed graciously, and enjoyed the stays completely. The free breakfast is very good, set in a pleasant dining area that looks out into a yard. Oh, and the price is unbeatable for the very pleasant accommodations and cleanliness.

Cindy C.

Yelp
Stayed at Guadalupe Inn twice this passed year and will return in the future. The rooms are lovely, clean and well decorated. Some have terraces and the area is surrounded by trees. The breakfast area is pleasant, food is simple and good; easy to chat with other guests and get travel suggestions. Staff is accommodating and always helpful. Away from touristy Plaza but 15 minutes walking distance. Added benefit by Railyard District with good and affordable restaurants and some interesting shops. Its a win win place to stay, I highly recommend it.

JANE B.

Yelp
Charming grounds. Rooms clean. Staff friendly. Pillows like bricks. Room air conditioner had note saying not to set below 72 degrees so our room got hot and we couldn't open window because people were walking past our room and could see inside and the unit went on and off throughout the night. Breakfast was another disappointment. We came in grabbed our coffee and some of the usual low grade fare. We were in the middle of this when a woman came around with homemade waffles - we had no idea this would be offered so our mistake perhaps.

Christopher T.

Yelp
This is a very nice place to stay. It is within easy walking distance to downtown with covered parking. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. My son and I stayed one night and we were allowed to have one of the adjoining rooms at no extra cost when they found out it was not booked. With both of us over 6 foot tall it was great to have tall shower heads in the bath. I was provided a coffee maker in the room after being asked if I was an early riser. This allowed me to enjoy coffee prior to the modest continental breakfast server at 8:00 am. This is a small cozy place that would highly recommend.

Rick L.

Yelp
The room was clean, a good size, and very affordable. I've never stayed in hotel with a jacuzzi tub that was this inexpensive. The management was extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is great - just a few minutes walk from all the great shops and restaurants in the plaza. If you want to hangout in a plush room all day and be pampered, this may not be the place for you, but if you want a nice, extremely affordable place to stay while exploring Santa Fe, this is it. I would absolutely stay here again.

Damien A.

Yelp
I haven't actually stayed there, but friends of my have. Nice small quaint property. Perfect for a nice quiet stay! The charm of Santa Fe shines through the Inn with is decor and tile work. Own by a true Santa Fe family who bring New Mexican love and care to its guests!!

C D.

Yelp
First of all, I brought up all of my comments with Kay the manager prior to writing this review. We stayed 2 nights in Room #1. Posted office hours are 8 AM - 5 PM. On our 2nd day of our stay, we came back to our room to at 4:30 PM to find our bathroom had not been cleaned. Office manager Kay had already left for the day. We had to contact Bill to get fresh towels (towels were removed and not replaced, essentially we had no towels in our room). Bill provided us with a bathroom cleaning kit and we ended up cleaning the bathroom ourselves! When I brought up my concerns with Office Manager Kay the next morning, she told me that she had hired a 17 year old housekeeper and this was her first job. The pros were the gas log fireplace and jacuzzi bathtub in the room. Location is easy walking distance to downtown Santa Fe and covered parking is included.

Sharon M.

Yelp
Charming! Unique, interesting Southwest decor and very comfy bed. The place was spotless. We loved having our private patio where we ate the cheese, crackers, grapes and wine that we had brought with us. Breakfast was in a lovely dining area, again with very attractive Southwest touches. We would absolutely stay here again. It WAS a bit tricky to find because it is tucked in between two street numbers and you enter through an alley. But don't let that deter you! This lovely little gem is absolutely worth the small hunt.

Ted Ross L.

Yelp
The staff of the hotel was very accommodating and always helpful. However, room experience and sleeping experience was horrible! The bed was like a 'jelly' when one person moves on one side of the bed, the other side moves too and wakes the other person up. It would be better to just sleep on the floor! Regarding the room, looks like there is no insulation between the 1st floor and the 2nd floor. When someone in the middle of night walks on the 2nd floor, the person sleeping on the 1st floor can hear every step! Furthermore, when someone on the 2nd floor runs water (shower, sink or toilet), the noise is so loud on the 1st floor that it can wake the person up sleeping below (1st floor). Do not count on getting any good night sleep on the 1st floor if you are on the 1st floor and there is someone on the 2nd floor. It is tough the next day especially when you have 6 hour drive the next day.

Angel O.

Yelp
Great location and the people are SO nice. Rustic feel and wonderful amenities. We had an whirlpool bathtub (older but still nice) and a fireplace. To top it off a great little patio area where we enjoyed some homemade margaritas. The room price was the same whether booking it through them or Priceline so go local! They also serve a quaint little breakfast in the morning too.

Nicolas U.

Yelp
I'm a commercial pilot. I spend about 80 nights/year away from home. The usual lodgings are visually sterile if not offensive in their sameness and boredom. The staff is polite, in a mandated forced-smile business way. The food is too predictable. The endless corridors seem like a decorated prison-row. The electronic locks sometimes don't work. The plumbing is shoddy. The showers just dribble. You pay for WiFi. and everything else... THE GUADALUPE INN IS A DIFFERENT WORLD ON A MUCH MUCH BETTER PLANET!!!! Spotless, delightful staff, beautiful Santa Fe decor, wonderful breakfast, quiet quiet quiet, hidden in a back-street away from annoyances and traffic, a real key, free WiFi, wonderfully easy-on-the-eyes decorated rooms, under-floor heating (nice warm carpet barefoot) beautiful Western tile in the Jaccuzi-bathtub(!) and the shower's like a warm tropical downpour. And the most pleasant, welcoming and helpful staff you'll ever meet. It's like coming home. And did I mention that it's the best value in accommodation i've ever come across? Signed: a visitor for life!

Yelp
Quaint and quiet inn located close to the bustling square. Wonderful staff greeted us upon arrival. With knowledge that we would be leaving prior to the complimentary breakfast, hotel staff offered fresh fruit and banana muffins to save for our drive in the morning. We were also provided a city map and given multiple suggestions for dinner and shopping in the area. Such a great experience! Would definitely recommend to any traveler passing through Santa Fe!

Yelp
This hotel is a hidden gem in a great neighborhood of Santa Fe. The price was excellent for the quality of the rooms we stayed in, which were very clean, beautiful, and friendly-staffed. Leahi, the night manager, was incredibly helpful in assisting us after our car broke down in Santa Fe. The inn is family-owned and the staff really went above and beyond what we expected. The breakfast was delicious, especially the amazing green chile corn muffins. The inn is centrally-located, and an easy walk from the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum and downtown shops and restaurants. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay near the heart of Santa Fe.

Yelp
Our stay at the Guadalupe Inn was wonderful! It's within walking distance of The Plaza, restaurants, and art galleries. The staff were friendly and made our stay delightful.

Yelp
We stayed here for 2 nights back in March. I found the hotel on hotels.com. All of the pictures looked good, and I was excited to stay somewhere smaller instead of a huge hotel chain. I requested a late arrival since we would be coming in later than normal. The woman who helped us was super nice, and just asked me to call when we got close. Its tucked away on a quiet road, with covered parking. We had room #1, and it was amazing. The room was big, with a fireplace, and a huge bathroom with a jetted tub. We had a small balcony that was perfect to sit at night and enjoy each others company. All of the furnishings were nice as well, and it was a beautiful room to stay in, and really comfortable. One of the best beds we have ever slept on in a hotel. It was a wonderful getaway place close to home for my hubby and I for a romantic weekend getaway. Breakfast was homemade food, and really good as well. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance, and the manager also recommended restaurants that were really close for a great dinner. This will be our new spot to go on weekend getaways, and I can't wait to get back soon!

Yelp
Limited hours to get service (8-5) or check in (3-5). They aren't always there between 8-5 either. There is a phone number to call for after hours service but who wants to phone after 5 for a little ice? The towels never dried and were not totally replaced when wet (not enough towel bars). Don't stay here for the bfkst unless you are ok with waiting until 8 am and with their idiosyncratic choice of yogurt, toast, Pinon coffee, and I could go on but won't. Its a small room crammed with tables and a TV broadcasting Santa Fe ads (Please!!), plus the guy's music selection. How about some quiet in the morning? Whole Foods is just a little ways away (less than15 min walk) and has much better bfkst! At night it can be loud, all it takes is one person talking and the sound carries thru the walls. The door locks are inadequate, no dead bolt! The bed was not comfy and the internet was slow. It is close to the Plaza area but very difficult to find while driving as the signage is practically non existent and faces the street instead of the oncoming cars.
