Gubernator Hotel

This hotel is ideally located in the center of town, but on a small street. The window in my room was facing a road. I had ear plugs and was sleeping perfectly with slightly opened window.||The hotel itself is very clean. Rooms are with high ceiling. The bed is super comfortable! ||There are two things in the hotels, which are critical for me - good bed and tasty breakfast. So I got everything here!

This well-located hotel offers good service and nice accommodation . Rooms are spacious, have everything needed for a short stay - shampoo, shower gel, slippers and a gown. Breakfast is quite nice as well. The buffet is limited but you can always order something from the menu and it will be brought to you just from the oven. The interior is quite dubious but still the hotel is very nice. It is a very good deal for the price.

Hotel is very clean,comfortable, great restaurant. Breakfast is included, but the restaurant in the hotel is so good my wife and I ate most of our other meals at the hotel restaurant. Great food, especially the grilled salmon and rib eye steak.. The hotel is centrally located, easy to get to shopping, the city park and the river. The staff are great. Very helpful, mostly speak English or other European languages. If you can learn a few Russian words before you go you will feel right at home. TV is all Russian language, but why go to Tver if you just want to watch TV? You can walk to Red Square in a few minutes and see the Lenin statue, then on the the river (take the boat ride up or down the river, you will enjoy it). I have been to Tver multiple times, and the city is getting better and better over time, sort of rejuvenating itself. The Hotel Gubernator is a great place from which to see Tver. Give it a try.

We needed a nice quiet place to stay. This hotel was good. It was not far from the Train station just a short taxi ride. We found the breakfast to be good and the rooms clean and comfortable. We do like Tver and will stay here again.

I just returned from 5 weeks business trip to Tver. I was very lucky to choose Gubernator hotel for this long stay:||The location is great and the hotel is lovely. It's in close walking distance to the city center. ||The room is very spacious and clean, beds are comfortable.||The staff is very welcoming and helpful. They make you feel at home. ||The food is superb during breakfast (included), lunch and dinner.||||I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice, clean and comfy hotel with great location in Tver city center. Walking distance from main places of interest. ||We had our room in the attic and liked it a lot.The only thing is that there is no elevator - it was perfectly fine with us though.||Breakfast was decent.

One of the best places to stay in Tver. The staff is very friendly. For a 18th century building it is well maintained 👍🏼. It's a located in the Center; so everything from places eat, to transportations to site seeing are conveniently located. Only downside is there are no elevators in the hotel, but once you up and down the stairs few time it's not a big deal 😉

Room was very spacious and clean. Decent breakfast buffet every morning and would recommend ordering something from Kitchen. Helpful staff, centrally located in Tver and would recommend without hesitation.
