16 Best Things to Do in Florence

"Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele is always pushing the limits, and this time he blurs the lines between monument and merchant at Gucci Garden, an interactive complex where fashion, food, history, and art commingle. Located in the 14th-century Palazzo della Mercanzia in Florence’s Piazza Signoria, Gucci Garden is Michele’s colorful journey through the Florentine fashion house’s past, present, and future. The multi-level boutique-slash-museum includes a store selling exclusive Gucci Garden designs, a gallery space with contemporary exhibitions, and a ground-floor restaurant by rockstar chef Massimo Bottura." - Erica Firpo

Gucci Garden, Florence, Tuscany, Italy - Museum Review | Condé Nast Traveler

"Set the scene for us. What's this place all about? The Gucci museum opened in 2011 on the 90th anniversary of the fashion house, and charts the evolution from its start—right here in Florence—to the enormous international brand it is today. Also onsite is the new Gucci Garden, the brainchild of Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele, with a store, exhibition rooms, and a restaurant with world's best Massimo Bottura at the helm. The museum complex—effectively, a Gucci wonderland—is in the Palazzo della Mercanzia, which was built in 1359 and restored in 1905. Rather interestingly, the historic structure once housed the Court that served to resolve disputes between merchants and members of Florentine arts guilds. Amazing. So what can we expect to see in this Gucci wonderland? The museum showcases a range of iconic pieces, from scarves to luggage to Hilary Swank's iconic dress from the 2011 Academy Awards. Are there any other standout elements? The renovated Gucci Garden is an eclectic space that's constantly changing. Who can we expect to see here? This gallery is centrally located and popular with tourists, from fashion aficionados to those who've only heard of Gucci. Locals love this place, too. On the practical tip, how are the facilities? There are elevators and the bathrooms are particularly lovely. Any guided tours worth trying? Audio guides and guided tours are both available (for a fee), and both are worthwhile. If you come to the restaurant just to eat—and plenty of folks do—you'll also get a free ticket to the museum. We imagine the Gucci Garden has a pretty good gift shop. Accurate? This entire museum is as much a gift shop as it is a museum; in fact, it's considered one of the most covetable gift shops on Earth. In the actual gift shop, a fashionable bazaar-like retail space, you'll find clothes and accessories and objects for the home alongside smaller items like notebooks, pencils, and surprisingly affordable branded paperweights. All that museum-ing and shopping can really take it out of a person. What are our options for a refreshment at the museum? Three-Michelin-starred chef Massimo Bottura, of Osteria Francescana in Modena, is also behind the new 50-seat Gucci Osteria. It isn’t cheap—this is Gucci, after all—but the menu is great, with Italian classics like Parmigiano Reggiano tortellini, buttery cacio e pepe, and creamy mushroom risotto. Bottura has a sense of humor, too, offering high-end interpretations of American classics, including a hot dog, a burger (he's a vocal Shake Shack fan), and, for dessert, a piña colada. Sounds great, but we might be limited on time. Is it still manageable? This isn't a large museum, and you can definitely check it off in an hour. Just leave enough time to try the restaurant, which is a destination unto itself." - Bridget Arsenault

Well worth the 8 euros! Only two floors and small exhibits but they are thoughtfully put together and tell a beautiful story of Gucci’s start and legacy. The immersive mirror room is very transfixing, plan to chill in there if there isn’t a lot of people! We went on a Sunday and it was not busy at all. We almost had the place to ourselves.

Google
Read about the store and museum online prior to visiting Florence and really enjoyed my time there. If you're a Gucci lover like myself, it's definitely a must-visit. Like others have mentioned, the museum is a bit small when you consider the history of Gucci, but it's still worth seeing. The mirrored purse room alone is an amazing photo op and just seeing all the different eras of fashion was amazing. I went in Dec 2024 and I lucked out as it wasn't very busy. The Gucci Garden store is wonderful, as they have pieces that are only sold there. The sales person was extremely friendly and helpful and I ended up purchasing a lenticular postcard and a tote.

This place is a must stop for all fashion lovers, specially Gucci ones. I have an old vintage Gucci silver bracelet and watched the movie with Lady Gaga about the Gucci family and that was enough to decide not to miss this museum and boutique while in Florence. Its really wonderful exhibition of the famous printed silk scarfs and Gucci bags are displayed even better - with mirror room and floor and ceiling out of mirror too you feel like in endless space. Museum is pretty small but the exhibited pieces are definitely representative this famous Italian fashion icon.

Located at P.za Della Signoria,10, 50122 Florence FI, Italy 🇮🇹. Garden Gallery Admission - 8€ FREE for people over 65 years and children under 12 years. Open hours are from 10.00am until 7.00pm Monday to Sunday. The museum is a fantastic look at Gucci’s fashion label from its origins to now. The exhibits change over time so you see something different if you return repeatedly as I have about three times. It’s wonderful to learn all the different stories of Gucci and appreciate the displays of the vintage luggage, archival pieces, contemporary designs, experimental garments and more. The videos are so engaging. Each room showcases Gucci’s social and cultural impact and innovative spirit. I recommend going to have a delicious meal at the Gucci Cafe and to finish off your visit. There’s a great selection of items to enjoy. The structure itself is stunning and luxurious with its Renaissance architecture blending with modern aspects. The blend of modernity and heritage makes this such a beautiful place. I truly recommend. Thumbs up!!! 👍👍👍

This museum is so cool!! Don’t even think about it just go. It’s a great very immersive experience. Some of my favorite pictures were taken here. For anyone who appreciates fashion it’s a must do.

Google
The show room is beautiful as they offer many unique pieces in that location. However the museum is closed and doesn’t reopen until May 16th so I was disappointed to hear that. I’ve heard incredible things about the museum and it was one of the things I was looking forward to seeing the most in Florence!

Sonya Miteva

Google
I expected more from the museum. There are too few rooms considering the long history of the brand. Interesting, but not worth the entrance fee.

Google
Definitely an interesting place to visit, especially if you love fashion. But to be honest, I was expecting a little more from it.

Yelp
Oh this was so much fun! You don't have to be a fashionista to appreciate the fun displays they have inside. It's such a colorful and refreshing take on a museum. They do a great job of showcasing the rich history of this fashion house in an interactive and alluring way. I really enjoyed the room completely filled with purses. It seemed to go on forever and who doesn't want to go drool over those beauties. The gown room was fantastic as well. I loved that they give you the opportunity to study them up close and to see all their intricate details. The museum is pretty small and we were able to do everything pretty fast (1 hour or so). Great spot to get away from the heat, crowds or rain for a bit.

Yelp
Not sure why I never posted this review but here it is. After having dinner at the Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura our waiter gave us two tickets to the museum. Two days later I went to check it out and was very impressed with the collections on display. The exhibit showcases different styles from the Gucci timeline. So many vintage pieces that I never saw or knew about. Gucci is one of my most favorite designer brands so I really enjoyed to see the story and history behind every piece. The first floor is a very unique Gucci store that you can actually make purchases from. Clothes, purses, luggage, home decor and more. Things you can only find here and not in other Gucci boutiques.

Yelp
This place was a ton of fun. We have been to other places like this, which feel like they are made for Instagram. Gucci Garden or Gucchi Museum does much more. They have a QR code that explains the two stories of fun escapes. My daughter and wife had a blast in the Exciting different rooms. The commentary of each room added color to why The rooms were set up. It is immediately next to the Palazzo Vecchio and is worth visiting.

Yelp
The NY Times recommended this garden with an on -site café and a terrace overlooking Florences prettiest piazza. I got in line in front and managed to ignore the beggars. We spent about an hour here very creative and well done. Exhibits displayed Gucci collections over the years in very creative ways set to music. The colorful & engaging exhibits were on two floors. There wasn't a place to sit down so we had to keep moving. Interesting and unlike anything we've seen before. On the first floor we saw three rooms of Gucci Garden Collection.

Yelp
Gucci Garden Gucci Garden Gucci Garden. Did you know Tom Ford worked for Gucci from 1990-2004? If you're a real Gucci person, you must buy a piece here. Everything is unique and the staff is very helpful. We ended up not buying anything, but we did check out the museum upstairs which is 100% worth it. Florence is the best city in Italy because of gems like the Gucci Garden!

Yelp
Came here a year ago while on a vacation trip in Florence. The entrance is in the Piazza so great location. Walking in, the display of all the Gucci items are beautiful and there's alot of limited edition items here - bags, shoes etc. The place is divided into two areas - one for shopping and another for the Gucci Garden. The Gucci Garden has free tickets for students so you just need to bring your student ID. The Gucci Garden is an unique visit. Check it out, it's fun!

Yelp
Very well done museum, and I now have a new appreciation for how incredible Gucci is. They push boundaries, incorporate nature and loud colors, go for interesting models, and push boundaries. This was a fun and small interactive museum that could be done in an hour. Even if you just need an AC break, stop by here
google avatar

Yelp
So fun!! We had a great time in the museum and all the animated features, finds and clothing. My son had fun in each room and was wanting more. Crazy how many shoes are in that room! It is definitely worth the quick $8 euros to take a tour. Unfortunately, the bar/restaurant was not open when we were there, which would had been nice to sit in the AC and enjoy cocktail :)

Yelp
We stopped here in Florence as I love everything Gucci and Massimo Bottura. He is the ultimate chef who brings good food to everyone . Massimo continues to inspire his fast cars/slow food movement and this location will make you smile. I love all the colors and the cafe is so classy, typical "Fiorentino". The Gucci Garden is a beautiful shop with items only available here in Florence(no where else) and a gallery that costs 8 euros to enter. There is also a Michelin star restaurant on the premises. We enjoyed our cappuccino in the cafe as the outdoor seating was closed due to rain. It's worth a stop if you're in Florence !

Yelp
Fashion in Firenze! Gucci Garden is a must when you're staying in Florence or just passing through. The exhibit rotates showcasing different themes and pieces from the Gucci timeline. The museum is three levels with stair and elevator accessibility. It also has two stores on the first level. Gucci Garden branded items are only available in store and are not available for purchase or shipping online, so if you see something you like - buy it! For those visiting from out of the country, these items are available for a tax-free reimbursement. Next door, there is also a restaurant: Gucci Osteria by Massimo Bottura - famed Italian chef who owns one of the world's best restaurants in Bologna. Hot tip: students can enter the museum for free! Make sure to bring your Student ID.

Yelp
Gucchi Garden is so Gucchi. Fans of the fancy and fashionable Double G brand will love visiting this museum located in the Palazzo della Mercanzia (dating back to 1337) in Florence just steps from the world-famous Galleria degli Uffizi on Piazza della Signoria. The Gucci brand was created in Florence in 1921 by Guccio Gucci so it makes sense that the company create a beautiful exhibit space in the city. The location couldn't be better. Tickets are 8€ per person and provide access to 6 rooms of exhibitions and art on 2 floors full of creations from current creative director Alessandro Michele as well pieces from the past by Tom Ford and others. The vintage pieces were the most interesting to me bringing a mix of memories and awe while the futuristic nature of Gucci design continues to scream modern Guccification. The iconic Gucci web stripe is hard to miss; however, many of the dresses, jackets, shoes, and luggage on display are uniquely Gucci in other ways. There are many ways to spend 8€ in Firenze and lots of museums to check out which means Gucci Garden doesn't rise to level of "must-see," except for diehard fans, but the brand museum was well-done and I'm a fan because it's all Gucci at Gucci Garden.

Yelp
Had the absolute best experience here and wonderful customer service. Came here to check out the store and met the most wonderful SA Yoshiko. She was so patient with showing me every piece I was interested even though she knew I wasn't planning to buy a bag that day. I told her I wanted to spend a few days thinking and would be back in a few days since we had reservations at the restaurant. Yet, she spent over an hour talking with me about the store and Gucci. When my husband and I came back 2 days later to see the museum before dinner she was there waiting at the door for us! She then provided us with free tickets to the museum and even though the tour is self guided she joined us and gave us a private guided tour throughout the entire museum. We got learn about all the inspo behind each exhibition and she took pictures of us throughout. When the tour was done she left us to go through it alone and met us back down at the store. When we came down she already had all the bags I expressed interest in ready for me to view. She answered all my questions again and in the end I chose a lovely bag and wallet exclusive to the shop. After our purchase she walked us to the restaurant and even pulled out chairs for us to sit while we wait. And then even though the store was closed she waited with us until the restaurant opened. If that's not above and beyond idk what is. Thank you to Yoshiko and Gucci gardens for such a wonderful experience.

Yelp
Definitely visit this museum/store when in Florence. Very interesting museum of vintage Gucci clothes and accessories . The first floor is the store and cafe. The store carry's gucci items that can only be bought at a Gucci Gardens store. Very pricey but a must if you love Gucci. Second and third floor is the museum that costs 6 or 8 euros (can't remember the exact cost). We did not eat at the cafe but have heard great comments about it.

Yelp
A museum from a luxury fashion line?! I only own a couple of Gucci pumps and haven't followed too much of the clothing line, nor have been that interested in their handbag line, but I figured, it's only in Florence, might as well check it out. I went on our last night, a Thursday night after 8pm and was able to take advantage of their discounted admission. It was reduced to 5 Euro. And what's notable is that 50% of ticket proceeds goes to maintaining the city's art treasures. The museum has excellent lighting and showcases the different collections and notable one of a kind items such as a car and golf set, and even exquisite gowns worn at award shows. It's several floors and is an easy walk through. The book store and cafe are housed on the bottom floor. No photos are allowed though I saw one couple taking photos. Maybe if it was Chanel or Louis Vuitton I would have liked it more, but I would say it's a solid 3ish stars. It's a nice change of pace (and more relatable) from the typical museums in Europe.

Yelp
I heard great things about this exhibit but failed to realize it changes and the current exhibit during Fall 2019 sucks. There are about 3 rooms on 2 floors with content and 1 of those rooms on each floor is displaying time filler video (i.e. old runway shows). The other two rooms have interesting pieces with the majority coming from recent collections. This was disappointing though because it was clothing I had seen in showrooms 1-2yrs ago and I didn't have to pay 8 euros then. And the quality of some of the garments presented was lacking. I would think they would want to showcase relatively new pieces in good condition but there were relatively recent items that had significant damage or wear. TLDR: skip this exhibit the next rotation might be better.

Yelp
Located next to the Gucci Museo, the Gucci Icon store carries books and Gucci products not found in the regular Gucci stores. Being Gucci, prices are not cheap. But for me, I considered when I'd be in Florence again, and decided to splurge and buy a few things. The SAs were very friendly and not at all snobbish. They wrapped all of my purchases and gave extra gift bags for my purchases. I'm pleased with my purchases and every time I use my Gucci Museo purchases, I'll remember my visit to Florence.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a very fun museum to visit for an hour or so. Great collection of Gucci outfits through the years and a very nice library and display. Enjoyed my time here

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of Gucci but I thought this was simply okay. I only went because students get in for free with a student ID, but I don't think I would pay to go see it. The idea of it is cool, but it was super short and I kind of expected more from it. However, they do sell exclusive items they don't sell anywhere else, which is awesome!

S R.

Yelp
I was waiting in line and the woman at entry told us that the last entry was at 6:30pm. When we got to the front, it was 6:28pm. She stared at us and then walked away laughing, not letting us in. They were incredibly rude and were proud to be nasty to customers. We watched her yell at a young woman who was struggling to open her Covid card pass and slammed the door on her. 0/10.
google avatar

Carlin L.

Yelp
Wife loves Gucci and I had no clue why nor an appreciation for the massive bills associated with her purses until I visited "Gucci Garden", which showcased the truly artistic approach to design and fashion. Particularly eerie was the "tribute to Bjork" room. I'm not a fan of the song or Bjork but the combination of the video and the Gucci dress was stunning and mesmerizing. The museum has free WiFi and worth the €8 per person entrance fee.

Yelp
Guccio Gucci's first store open in 1921 in Florence. I appreciate the history of fashion and since I had some time to kill, I check out the Gucci Museum. (I probably should have seen David, but that line was too dang long!) It costs 7 euro to enter the museum. No photos are allowed to be taken in the showrooms. I enjoyed learning about early start of Gucci and seeing the beautiful leather products, car, evening wear, and handbags over the few floors. I ended my visit by going into the museum shop and cafe. The staff are friendly and not snobby at all. Bathrooms are very clean and a good place to escape the heat and chaos of Piazza della Signoria. "Quality is remembered long after price is forgotten" - Aldo Guccio, (son of Guccio Gucci) 1938

Yelp
This museum was really special. It is a new museum that opened to celebrate a century since the founding of Gucci in Florence. If you have an appreciation for Italian/Florencian brands, I highly recommend a visit. During their late-night hours on Friday night after 8pm, the admission is reduced. The museum was an archive of Gucci merchandise since its humble beginnings as a travel goods brand and through its evolution into one of the most globally recognized luxury brands today. This museum will have you appreciate the brand's quality and timelessness. If you have an eye for fashion, you will see that the product lines from 40 years ago would still be fashionable today. On some level, the whole museum may be seen as a sales pitch for Gucci. My favorite part of the museum was the newest exhibit on the 2nd floor: a room full of mannequins shaped to match their runway models, and the clothes they wore in various Gucci fashion shows. I felt as though I had stumbled into the basement of Westworld where they keep all of the retired robot hosts. The mannequins were almost lifelike in their presentation. The iPads with descriptions of the fashion show and clothing they were wearing truly brought them to life. Another great part was a section of Gucci red-carpet fashion which displayed real dresses worn by celebrities on the red carpet. As you can imagine, these dresses are just plain gorgeous. You will realize how tiny these celebrities are, but wonder why you won't ever be so lucky to be outfitted in such glamorous clothing! I brought my husband here since I am interested in fashion and wanted to see what this was all about. But what ended up happening was my husband decided he likes Gucci. The next day, we ended up taking a bus to the luxury outlets in Florence and guess who found a lot of Gucci merchandise he couldn't resist. Ahem, it wasn't the wife.
google avatar

Kam S.

Yelp
Almost gave it 4 stars... felt it was lacking in something, but quite can't put my finger on it. I enjoyed the museum a lot - definitely recommend it to those who like luxury goods. It's small - yet artistically designed. Seeing some of the inspiration behind their collections, ideas and concepts was interesting. I think I would have enjoyed learning more about the family - the elegance of the brand's rise to popularity. In Paris, Louis Vuitton does this well - made it worthwhile. Seeing the infamous Gucci Cadillac Seville car was the highlight for me. I love cars and heard stories about a Gucci Cadillac, yet never knew if it was true. It's a nice museum for in-between visits to other attractions. It's not "primary" enough to make it onto a Must See list.
google avatar

Margot G.

Yelp
Very cool museum! For only €8, you have access to two floors of classic Gucci relics. It is a very cool mix of Gucci history and fashion forward design all in one. There is also a very well curated gift shop as well as a Gucci boutique selling exclusive Gucci Garden products. Did not get a chance to dine at the osteria, but it was very well appointed and I look forward to coming back.
google avatar

Sally D.

Yelp
Absolute perfection we ate outside after touring museum and shopping in store ! Loved the food the decor and excellent service
google avatar

Laurie F.

Yelp
This was such a waste of money. Save your money and visit the Uffizi museum instead (for just 1 euro extra), you won't feel ripped off. This museum feels like someone just raided an old woman's garage sale and exposed all of it in a tiny building. I can't believe Gucci would put their name on such sad establishment. The only interesting part in a room with 4 beautiful Gucci dresses, dating back to 2012 (I know - so historic). It was a collection made for stars (Blake Lively, etc.) that was worn at red carpet events.
google avatar

Erin M.

Yelp
To my close friends and family, it's a known fact that I am a huge Gucci fan. So it wasn't any surprise to my best friend who I traveled with when I requested to make a stop at the Gucci Museum while in Florence! It's a pretty small museum, and only charges 7 euro - 50% of that going back to the city of Florence to help preserve it's sites and history. What I really enjoyed about this museum is the history it gave about the logo, the brand and the creator. When you go through the different rooms, you will see vintage pieces as well as a few red carpet favorite dresses worn by some of the world's most famous celebrities. They also have small temporary exhibitions as well as some of the original building preserved. Overall, a very nice museum- a good break from all the Renaissance masterpieces. They also have a decent gift shop! Worth a stop in especially if you are a fashion lover and in the area. If you have time, also a grab a latte at the Gucci Cafe and people watch in the Piazza.
google avatar

Connie C.

Yelp
Interesting museum showing handbags and clothes dating back to 1900s. Ticket is only €7.

Yelp
I stumbled across the Gucci museum one afternoon in Firenze. This museum is amazing. If you're even moderately interested in fashion, it's worth checking out. They go through the history of the brand, from inception to present day. It's truly amazing to see the internationalization of Gucci and the entrepreneurial path of Gucci. They also have a small store, with some items exclusively made for this Gucci store, and none other in the world. I got my wallet from here! Such a cool experience.
google avatar

Yelp
Stunning exhibits ranging from 1920 luggage to the 2007 evening gown collection. Beautifully displayed vintage red carpet styles, 70's textiles, and original patterns, this museum is a must-see for any creative mind. 3 floors of exhibits and a small theater playing bits of old films that the Gucci foundation helped to restore. However the 3rd floor was closed off during my visit so the museum felt smaller than I hoped.
google avatar

Robosapiens R.

Yelp
Sorry folks! Closed until December from what I was told at the boutique! You can call gucci store to get the exact opening date!

Rachel M.

Yelp
Pretty small museum considering they have you pay to get in. I'm sure there is a rotation of items as there was a max of about 25 outfits out when I went. As a student, I got in for free. I am happy I did because I couldn't see myself paying to see a few clothing items, paintings, luggage, and sketches. Some of the stuff out was gorgeous while others were pretty plain. There was a short (15 minute max) experimental-like film on loop in their theater. That was very intriguing and I enjoyed it. Sadly, there were about 20 people that came in and out during it that didn't want to sit and think about what they were being shown. The longest another person made it was about 2 minutes before running out the door.

Yelp
Came to the Gucci museum as soon as I head of its existence in Florence as it is my favorite brand. The museum is very small but it is absolutely stunning there are some absolutely incredible dresses and handbags but my absolute favorite was the car. It was perhaps the most beautiful car I've ever seen. If you are here while it's open you should definitely go.
google avatar

Gen B.

Yelp
A gorgeous collection, but not much of a museum. A quick run through is all you need, but Gucci's genius cannot be ignored. The car and riding crops were a personal favorite. Also there is a store attached with a museum only collection. A stunning silk scarf originally made for Grace Kelly among the pricey pieces.

M M.

Yelp
Museum was cool, loved seeing the different outfits/accessories through the eras. The shop was fabulous. I had excellent service and purchased several small gifts and a couple items for myself. I selected several boxes of matches and postcards for gifts (they gave me complimentary tissue/gift box/ribbon for each gift). And I got a large pink tote bag with the signature eye logo and smaller linen bag for myself. I totally regret not getting a wallet. Hope to get back and purchase next time!

Franky C.

Yelp
Worst waste of an hour of my time in Florence. 3 small floors of trunks, purses and a few couture dresses. Not sure how this qualifies as a museum - there was hardly anything in it! Saw the occasional cool item and tried to snap a picture but someone ran over to block my shot. Complete waste of time - don't bother.

Timothy T.

Yelp
Amazing museum and store. Not only a cool walk through history but a store which carries unique Gucci and historic items. Fantastic service. Great brand and great people!

Yelp
I went to the Gucci Museum (Museo Gucci) on 6/12/2013. It was my first time there. I did not know about the museum till I ate lunch at their cafe on the piazza. For 6 Euros I did a tour of the museum. It tells the story of the Gucci Company from the opening of Guccio Gucci's first store in Florence, in 1921, to the present. My favorite item on display was the picnic set. A pleasant way to spend a little bit of your time in Florence and well worth the entry fee.

Yelp
Beautiful museum, loved every part of it. Definitely something to visit during your time in Florence.

Yelp
This museum is not to be missed. My traveling companion had to drag me in there, and I left with a free tour, iced coffee with grappa, and an Exquisite one of a kind, handbag with my name embossed in gold in it! Nuei (Na) was a delight to work with and very professional.
google avatar

Aymie R.

Yelp
One thing Italians are known for is their fashion, and Florence is home to many of their most famous fashion houses, including Gucci. When I arrived in Florence, I had no idea there was an entire museum dedicated to all things Gucci. It's in the Piazza della Signoria - admission was included with the Firenze Card, so I decided to visit after the Palazzo Vecchio. It was definitely one of my favourite attractions in Florence. A must see if you are a Gucci fan! There were exhibits for just about everything Gucci - from handbags to picnic sets to golf bags. My absolute favourite was the room housing gowns that celebrities had worn - I could have sat there for hours staring at the beautiful dresses!

Yelp
From the napkins to the sugar everything was decked out in Gucci! love this place! highly recommend it if you are a girl like me who truly enjoys fashion and a great cup of coffee. had a nice sit down around noon but only had cappuccino and dessert. the place of course is pricey but you can expect that because it's Gucci! they have a museum and gift shop with really neat and exclusive items made just for this location.

Yelp
A must if you're interested in fashion, and my husband enjoyed it as well. The building is gorgeous, completely renovated. It was almost empty, a nice air-conditioned break from the heat outside, and has fantastic bathrooms. Entry fee is reasonable (even more so if you catch a special, additional art exhibit). There is an interesting and unexpected video exhibit about their involvement in film preservation. Can be done in about an hour.

Yelp
A must-do for fashion lovers with a cute cafe in the bottom. It is mostly self guided but worth the visit.
