Overall very good fish restaurant with great view out on Baltic Sea. Food wise we were happy with our lunch.

We chose the fish buffet, which turned out to be great value for money. The selection of smoked and pickled fish was excellent. Only the salmon and shrimp were mediocre, but that’s not what we came for. It would’ve been nice to have more sides (e.g., roasted potatoes) instead of just fish, fish, and more fish, plus a mayo-heavy potato salad. Don’t expect much in terms of service—they had no recommendations and answered all my questions with “what you want.” Definitely a casual buffet spot, so don’t expect a restaurant setup. They do have a solid selection of beers.

Typical Danish fish restaurant with a great wiev and plenty to choose from on the menu. Don't miss their small but lovely fish market.

Pretty standard røgeri. Location is amazing and food is good. The only problem I have is that shrimps had way too much batter. The shrimps fries are supposed to be thin and crispy. The other food from the buffet was great. Lots of options of freshly smoked fish.

It has nice atmosphere, there's a lot of different types of fish to choose from. You can go for all you can eat option or for some specific dish also. They have tasty beer. Fishes were delicious and the potato salad was amazing.

“Sol over Gudhjem” has a nice smokey flavor and the meat is tender “Shelled shrimp smørrebrød” has plump juicy shrimp

Nice place for lunch or dinner. We went for the buffet which was cheap and offered a wide selection of smoked fish. It’s a great place if you want to try several fish dishes. You can sit inside or outside and parking is available right in front of the restaurant.

The buffet is great, providing a rich and tasty variety of fish and salads! The terrasse also provides ample space between tables and they have baby chairs, so it's a good place to go with a kid.

How little can you get away with, and still charge people for eating? Substandard ingredients poorly prepared and topped with dirty tables and a rude service. I seriously doubt any of the locals would ever set their teeth in any if these so called local specialities. The two stars are purely awarded for location.
