Amazing place to go an eat. Whether you sit or take away. I definitely suggest both. The banana crossaint is amazing.

As a French, I can tell you they have good pastries even though it's a bit expensive (6R$ for a croissant or pain au chocolat). They do a kind of brunch for ~25R$ that includes a juice (not fresh one), a coffee, a piece of bread with butter and jam, and a pastry. There are not so many places to seat (~15 people can seat there) and most of the tables can only seat 2 or 3 people so don't come if you're a big group and want to eat there.

I am passionated about French bread and once spending a few weeks in Rio I was excited with the opportunity to taste them again. What a disappointment! Guerin´s ¨paes de cereais¨ was a very bland, heavy if not disgusting ¨and overpriced ¨bread far below the french bakery standards. On top of it, expensive! Their croissant was less disappointing but - disappointing! They were too sweet crust with a sickening filling. Don´t go there!

This is a good place to find french specialities as bread and pastries. Following my personal experience bread quality can vary so much there. Sometimes I god excellent baguette other times was just like a stone. Pastries are generally better however prices are really high. What I prefer until now is the feuilleté au saumon.

Best patisserie in the area! Loved their almond croissant 👌

Insanely overpriced bakery. If I'd pay so much for a pain au chocolate (almost RS 10), then I'd rather have it somewhere with a cosy seating area and excellent service.

When I visited I bought two sweet pastries and a baguette that seemed to be a day old. I wouldn't recommend because the price is too high for what it's worth.

Chocolate croissant was good, but they don't even brew real coffee here, they use a Keurig type coffee maker...
