"Why we love it: An Elvis-theme stay that lets you live like The King himself The Highlights: - Elvis-themed suites - An on-site arena offering family-friendly shows - Shuttles to Graceland, downtown Memphis, and Beale Street The Review: Memphis-based developer DreamCatcher Hotels consulted with Priscilla Presley to help design this property adjacent to the mansion at Graceland, ensuring reverence to The King without any of the usual gaudiness. At the 430-room hotel, guests now find an homage to Presley with just enough glitz and glam to keep things interesting. In addition to the simple but comfortable standard rooms, the Guest House offers 20 special themed suites, with one or two bedrooms and clever details like bold colors, extravagant furnishings, and Vegas-style metallic accents. The hotel’s two full-service restaurants include Delta’s Kitchen, which serves classic Southern cuisine for breakfast and dinner, and the more-casual EP’s Bar & Grille, where guests can enjoy everything from bar fare and pizza to steak and seafood while watching the game on several large TVs. For a different kind of entertainment, head to the on-site arena, which offers 464 stadium-style seats and family-friendly shows that add to the guest experience."

Had an amazing stay at the Graceland Guest House. Loved the rooms and decor. Staff was so helpful and friendly. Best part was meeting the sweetest lady who also makes the most amazing chocolate milk ever!! I hope they never stop the PB&J bar. What a great idea!! Thanks for a great stay! We will definitely be back.

Overall we had a great experience. The place is really beautiful. The grounds are really well kept, the pool was warm. The room itself was nice, but some of the furnishings are starting to show the ten years of wear. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I personally wouldn't take kids there, but there were several families with children. No free breakfast so that kinda sucked, but the proximity to the airport more than made up for it.

The hotel and the room were great, we spent the day doing a tour of Graceland, came to check into hotel and enjoy the rest of our evening. We enjoyed the pool and got ready to enjoy the rest of the evening. The location was great, only a 15 min drive from Beale St. which was a great way to end the night. The reason this visit was a 2 star, was because of what happened in the night. Our car was broken into in the middle of the night along with 4-8 others, even though according to hotel staff there are supposed to be 2 patrol cars circling the parking lot every night. The way it was handled was poor and frustrating. According to one employee, the first report of damages to police was done at 7am that morning, we didn't check out till 10 am they didn't attempt to find out who the cars belonged to. Management seemed more concerned throughout the whole ordeal, with keeping everything that happened quiet, as they even went as far as telling another guest who was acknowledging that she had seen multiple vehicles that had their window broken, they told her in front of me not to be telling people what she saw. We got different stories on the situation from Management, front desk staff, Valet, and Security on how many cars were broken into. We were parked in the front row in handicap, clear view to the front doors of hotel. It just was very disheartening and frustrating that this is the way our trip ended, we did a long road trip all the way from Texas, to have our window broken, no easy way of getting it fixed on a Sunday, no help from Management. They have a security post to get into the hotel parking lot and two patrol cars, how is it that 8 cars were able to get broken into in one night right under their noses. Very disappointing.

Lovely hotel, ideally situated if you’re visiting Graceland. Nice big room, with large comfy beds, nice bathroom, tv & coffee machine in room. Only little thing I spotted, was that my bed sheet had a rip in it & it was noticeable, but otherwise all good. The pool was nice & so were the cocktails. Breakfast wasn’t included, but for 25$ you could have the buffet breakfast or there was a coffee shop with pasties, bagels, etc you could buy. We ate in the burger bar, which was okish!|Peanut butter & jelly sandwiches were giving out free in the evening & there was music in the evenings & Elvis films being shown! |Also free airport transfers were provided which was very helpful. |All in all we had a lovely stay.

If you want a nice place to stay with friendly people. This is the place. Package deals can get you an entire Graceland experience. Elvis fans will not be disappointed. The staff was exceptional, and accommodating. If we journey back to Memphis we will definitely stay here. Safe and sound. Thank you Guest House staff!!

I always wanted to visit Graceland since I was 8. I finally did it. We enjoyed it so much. It was much bigger than I thought. The estate is beautiful and the grounds too! I want to go back for Christmas lights. You must stay at the Guest house hotel. The place is wonderful and super clean and really nice room. The food is great, large portions. The staff is amazing. The front desk Manager Mary Dean was so accommodating. I can’t wait to go back. Maggie, Carl and Coco my newfi doodle

Rooms are not very functional, small shelves, no microwave, mini-frig didn't work. I was told that none of the mini-frigs work in any of the rooms...so if someone complains, they bring them a better mini-frig on a hand cart and plug it in. They keep telling the guest that it is not a real mini-frig. The only reason to stay here is to be close to Graceland - in a high crime city. They charge for parking, they charge for Internet. Service is not very friendly. Free PB&J sandwiches at 9pm - while they last. Whose idea was that? How high class! The towels are all under the bathroom sink instead of up on a rack for easy access. The lighting in the bathroom is poor & dim. There is no exhaust fan in the bath so humidity is an issue when taking a shower. The shower head is not easy to adjust, if at all. This place is designed for a 1 or 2 night stay at the most. All the area hotels have shuttles to Graceland so there is really no reason to stay here. This hotel is not particularly Elvis specific. Not even a simple 'Thanks for staying with us' when I checked out.

This is a nice hotel. A little on the pricey side but worth it to stay so close to Graceland. They have a shuttle to the mansion and museums that's included. We ate at the EP bar and grill. It was mediocre and overpriced. They could be a little more environmentally friendly. Didn't see anywhere to recycle and when you get a grab and go sandwich they put it in a plastic container when I feel like it could go in a bag. They give away a free peanut butter and jelly sandwich and chocolate milk at 9pm but don't get too excited. It turns out they only give you a 1/4 of a sandwich. They did have live music in the lobby in the evening that my son enjoyed!

Yelp
What a beautiful hotel. Visiting during a non busy time, we were upgraded to a suite. With a living room, bathroom, and bedroom, there was a ton of room. It's nice to have somewhere to sit that is not the bed. Multiple TVs too. The bed was comfy. Shower huge. Room dark for sleeping. Wish I was able to stay more than one night. Stations were set at Elvis music upon entering. Pick your decade for music taste. A movie played each night at 7pm in a large theater. Kind of fun to see these old movies on a large screen. We really liked the band that played in the lobby/bar. They were so talented and very knowledgeable about the music, writers, singers, and history of the songs they played. There is a shuttle to Graceland but we walked as it's right across the street. We checked out and they let us keep our card parked there while we did our tour. Staff was wonderful in making sure our stay was special. Great stop.

Yelp
The Guest House at Graceland is a lovely and dog friendly hotel, priced remarkably reasonably for the 4 Diamond rated hotel that it is. We stayed the weekend before Thanksgiving and it was decorated beautifully for Christmas. I've heard the year round decor of the hotel called Elvis modern, and I'd agree. The room itself was comfortable, the shower pressure was amazing and featured two modern shower heads, and there were so many details at this hotel that make it special: from the restaurants and bars named for Elvis and family members (EP's Bar & Grill, Delta's Kitchen, Shake, Rattle, and Go) to the actual movie theater that screens Elvis movies nightly. There is a large gift shop with everything Elvis: from ball caps, to bedazzled hoodies, to flip flops, and EP knock-off sunglasses. Everyone that worked inside the hotel and the gift shop was so friendly, from the people who checked us in very late at night, to the woman who saw me looking around and offered to unlock the movie theater so I could see it. We were in a bit of a rush to get back on the road (and had the dog) so we had take out coffees and fruit/oatmeal from Shake, Rattle, & Go. It was fresh and efficient. While taking a photo of the stairway, I met a really friendly older couple who shared their Elvis stories. They both had seen Elvis 30 or more times and were part of the Graceland "Founders" group. The woman gave me Elvis buttons she had made as well as photos of herself as a young woman with Elvis. I imagine encountering Elvis Ambassadors like this couple is part of the charming experience visiting this hotel--where Elvis fans share their personal stories with each other generously. Unfortunately, we were traveling from Dallas to Maine with our dog and stopped at the hotel because it was dog friendly, so didn't have a chance to tour Graceland itself, but hope to return soon and stay a few days to enjoy all that it has to offer. The only small downside was the confusing parking situation, specifically getting out of the lot, which involved one of the room keys? I tried to get help from the person working in the security station at the gate and she was less than helpful. Otherwise, a solid 5 star experience.

Yelp
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a guest of the King??? What King you ask - well, Elvis!!!!! Once Upon a Time, I thought about it and decided to see exactly what that would be like...so I transported myself to the Guest House at Graceland (where you too can be a guest of Elvis). This - by far - wasn't cheap (from the beginning to the end - everything was available - for a fee) Pros: * the grounds are nice (fire pits and pool included) * complimentary nightly live music * complimentary shuttle access to Graceland mansion * complimentary nightly pb&j sandwiches * complimentary elvis movie in the theatre * full hotel staff (i.e. bell hop, valet concierge, shuttle drivers, etc.) * 24 hour gym access * fridge / keurig in the room (no microwave) Cons: * parking was $16 (valet) plus 3 added taxes - came to about $22 / day realistically. * breakfast was $25 plus taxes * theatre movie provided nightly but no popcorn provided * bottled water (in room) was $6 (I am positive taxes would have been added) * no indoor pool * rooms were subpar for the price per night * sketchy neighborhood * customer service needs work I am sure by now you are wondering - Would I do it again??? I wouldn't....the elevator walls and rooms were unkept and my shower door would NOT stay closed. Did I have an enjoyable experience - yessssss!!!!!! Would I recommend??? For the experience - yes! Guest House at Graceland - "thank you! Thank you very much!!!"

Yelp
This hotel was amazing!!! I booked it because we were on a roadtrip with limited time in some cities and planned on going to Graceland. If you love Elvis, this hotel is for you. They have thought everything with EP wall sconces, the artwork, names of restaurants. They show an Elvis movie every night at 7pm, followed by free pb&j sandwiches at 9pm. The pool area is beautiful and even has the chairs in the pool! A beautiful bathroom with a walking shower that has two shower heads, one rain shower and one regular. We ate at EP's. The nachos were massive! I got the Elvis Presley burger which is huge! The quesadilla is like a combo of quesadilla and tacos. The peach cobbler was very good and our waiter was helpful in answering questions. I recommend self parking, it's very easy. My mom said this was her favorite hotel she has ever stayed at. I wish we would have had more time here!

Yelp
The Guest House at Graceland is across the street from the Graceland exhibit complex and next to Graceland Mansion, so the location is fabulous to visit Graceland. Self parking is $10.00 per night, but the property is gated with security or access with our room key. There were Tesla charging stations in the parking lot as well. The lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas with a wonderful scent that smelled like the Bellagio in Vegas. Check in was fast and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The reason for the one-star deduction is that the property and room is starting to see its age. There were some worn areas and the glass base of the side table in our room was cracked. The highlight of the property is the huge theater showing Elvis movies or concerts each night. We saw Elvis in Hawaii concert the first night and his Viva Las Vegas movie the second night. The shows were free for hotel guests. After the show, there was a complimentary peanut butter and jelly sandwich bar with chocolate milk. Delta's Kitchen is in the hotel plus a couple of bars, a coffee bar, and gift shop. The Guest House offered a free shuttle to the Graceland entertainment complex across the street. Great location, friendly service, clean, and amnenities made for a good stay. Highly recommend for a Graceland trip.

Yelp
How to you even begin? I have been wanting to make the trip to visit Graceland since I was 13, this has to be my most sentimental trip on my bucket list- I'll spare the details! The experience at the guesthouse in every aspect was amazing! Absolutely gorgeous hotel, the details are amazing, I cried walking in the first day! Our room was perfect, bathroom was ideal! Every staff member was wonderful, helpful and I couldn't have asked for more from the interactions I had! We visited the movie theater and watched a show, swam in the pool! (Only suggestion is a pool heater!) it was an absolute perfect day to swim, the water was just a bit too cold! And I was surprised there wasn't a hot tub). We had breakfast at the buffet, food and selection was wonderful? Great fresh assortments, options for everyone. I'll be back to finish my review but I cannot rave enough, if you are hesitant on staying on the property do not be it is worth it In every way, next trip will be during Christmas! I cannot wait and I wouldn't spend less than two days- to enjoy everything!

Yelp
I would have given this hotel 5 stars except that they charged me a different amount on my bill than what my confirmation said. I'm not talking about the overall amount, I'm talking about the amount per room, per night that I have a confirmation email for and then they changed it on my final billing. When I called and they asked for email proof I sent it over and she said accounting would call me and then nobody ever did and I emailed twice to try and get it resolved and never heard back again. It's a little less than a $200 difference and it disgusts me that a so called four diamond hotel would treat a customer like this. UPDATE***** this business has not reached out to me to try and resolve this no matter what they post on Yelp and now people are reaching out to me telling me the same thing happened to them. Frauds! Proof of the two different rates in the pictures

Yelp
We stayed here for two nights and had a great time. It was an excellent location for all the things we wanted to see and is only 9 minutes to the airport. The hotel is lovely. Very updated and rooms were comfy and clean with modern amenities like coffee, pillows, etc. As an Elvis-themed hotel - they lived up to my expectations. There is live Elvis music at the bar nightly, they have a free peanut butter jelly sandwich bar with chocolate milk every night at 9pm for snacks (loved this), there is a movie theater that shows a free Elvis movie every night from 7-9pm, etc. Staff were nice and all requests were handled quickly - like extra pillows, towels and blankets as well as an additional luggage rack for the room. Check-in was super easy and self parking is only $10. Our room was ready when we arrived at around 6pm and the beds were comfy! I liked that they have easy charging by the beds and plenty of options on TV to partake in Elvis live concert viewings (some I had never even seen) and some premium channels. The TVs and remote are updated so you can easily log into your apps and watch streaming as well. Showers were VERY nice. Rain head shower. A+ We had a small issue in one of the dining rooms while here and when my husband spoke to the manger, she was stellar. She sent us a bottle of wine and two free breakfast vouchers for the buffet. All the staff were excellent and it's directly across the street from Graceland so it can't be beat for location if that is what you came to see. Their conference area is very nice and we were super impressed with the large and comfy movie theater. It was cold so the pool was closed - but that looks nice as well. The gift shop is small but nice and you can buy your Graceland tickets here and take a free shuttle across the street that runs every 30 minutes.

Yelp
A beautiful place with a pretty friendly staff. The movie theater showing old Elvis movies is a cool touch. If you want your nightly peanut butter and jelly sandwich which is free, you will have to get there an hour before. People are serious about their peanut butter sandwiches they're in line an hour or more before they bring them out.

Yelp
For a resort, it could be better, for a hotel, it could be cheaper - depends on what you're looking for. Just a little FYI, if you are traveling with a pet or a service animal, do not pay for upgrades on your room. I paid and bc I have a service animal, I was told that any "upgrades" had to be what was available on the second or third floor as that is where they relegate all animals. I was not refunded or compensated. We paid for a room on a high floor with a courtyard view - an extra $20 a night and she could offer a tree. The photo is an "upgraded" room from what we were originally in with a view of a bush. My service animal is 8 years old and this is one of three places that has given me an issue in all these years; Starbucks in Clayton asked me to leave when I walked in with my service. Rybo Properties charged me an illegal pet deposit, unreturned. The Guesthouse kept my unrealized upgrade cash and put me in the oldest, unrepaired former smoking and gross people rooms they don't really take care of.

Yelp
The room itself is big and spacious - incredible shower. They have a gym and pool that are nice amenities. The valet service is very cheap - $16 - and they bring your bags to your room. It's across the street from Graceland and they have a shuttle. It's also very close to the airport. I'm docking the star for the dining options. We had to dine here on a Sunday night because we had a 6 am flight the next morning. Only the casual restaurant is open so we had to wait 45 minutes. Once we actually got seated, no one came by for 10-15 minutes to even give us water. The food was pretty mediocre. Given how big the property is, they should definitely have more dining options. Net/net: Stay here but don't eat here :)

Yelp
If you're coming to Memphis to visit Graceland and to experience Elvis you should stay at this property. The hotel is right next to Graceland and they offer a free shuttle to and from the mansion. Besides the convenience of the location you get to experience a different every night at the theater in the hotel. They also offer free peanut butter and jelly sandwiches every night, Elivis favorite snack. I got the room with "the view" I don't think it is necessary. The view is of the courtyard/pool. You can spend time there and don't need to see it from your window. Otherwise, the rooms are nice size.

Yelp
What a beautiful clean, resourceful hotel with elvis all over. Great restaurant options great eats. And right next door to E's house don't get any better then this if you are a Elvis fan.

Yelp
I love The Guest House At Graceland!!! Pros: - Offers a free, convenient, bus shuttle to and from Elvis' home and the rest of the attractions. Our shuttle driver was awesome and even sang happy anniversary to my wife and me! - Clean hotel and clean rooms. - Free live music in the lobby most nights. - On any given day you can see someone dressed as Elvis walking through the lobby (I did!). - Free PB&J sandwiches in the lobby each night (while they last). - Free Elvis movie in the theater most nights. - They offer combo packages if you are planning to visit Elvis' home. Cons: - The pool is beautiful, but a bit too shallow for my liking (I think the max depth was 3'). This is nit-picking and won't impact my rating. I highly recommend this place if you are planning to do the mansion tour.

Yelp
LOVE-will be back! Comfy bed in large room; pretty grounds; free nightly movie; great restaurants; staff is helpful and friendly

Yelp
If ever in memphis, stop by Guest House at Graceland. It's down the street from Graceland. They serve peanut butter n jelly sandwiches b/c that was Elvis'' favorite. Beautiful place that has its tvs programmed to play Elvis music 24/7. It has a Souvenir shop and large restaurant inside for convenience. The surrounding area is not very nice so just be careful.

Yelp
The EP bar on a Friday night @4-5pm was only staffed with one bartender who was serving the entire bar area and all the walk in business from the pool. He was obviously over his head busy. Not his fault but he really needed help. Every customer was ordering multiple drinks for the pool or the patio. Service was slow and worthy of 3 stars. The "small plate" nachos we a quarter sheet tray of deliciousness with smoked pork, bbq, cheese, jalapeños, onion, etc. would definitely order again 10/10. Please staff your bar appropriately. Thank you.

Erin R.

Yelp
EP's Bar and Grill was the only restaurant open, which was a disappointment. Should have had at least 1 more open place to eat. The floor in the restaurant was so sticky that my shoe got stuck to the floor underneath our table. It was like it was mopped with syrup water. Our waitress never showed up so another waiter stepped in and graciously took care of us. The 2 ladies at the hostess podium were more interested in the latest gossip and being on their phones than what was going on in the restaurant. In addition, there were plastic bags shoved underneath tables to keep them level. It looked cheap and very unprofessional, not what I expected for the amount of money we paid to stay there. The breakfast is also way overpriced at $25 per person. The furnishings in our hotel room were beat up. There was a tear in our bed and the desk chair's fabric was peeling from the back. Also, as others have stated, the walls are beat up by carts. Overall, I expected better. Pro tip: We travel quite a lot and what I've seen at other hotels is that they offer mounted body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in the hotel showers. It would be a nice touch to follow that trend.

Yelp
The front desk team was incredibly polite and friendly. The room was clean and quiet and the maid service was top notch. It lost a star for super delayed room service one night (2 hours) and the order wasn't quite right. Night two no dressing for the dinner salads. The food was very tasty, so just go downstairs to eat and you'll be fine.
google avatar

Yelp
Customer service is great. Food options are right on including the coffee shop that is better than FarTucks (I won't say the real name). Shower is lovely. Overall cleanliness of hotel is great. Pricing is about what you would expect. Only major downfall is the wifi/cell service. Cell service outside is fine. Inside not so much. And WiFi is TERRIBLE. Not even usable. I have provided a screenshot. For the price of a stay here, the wifi can and should be better.

Yelp
I've stayed here twice and both times it's been amazing. The atmosphere is great, the food and drinks are very good. The staff is all so sweet and checking on you as they pass by. The rooms are clean. The nightly movies are so cool! And don't forget the PB&Js at 9pm..

Yelp
We were glad we stayed at the Guest House for our visit to Graceland. The building and grounds are very nice. Lobby area is filled with unique furnishings and decor. Some items are very warn and need refurbishment but the place was very clean. Our room was on the fifth floor of the South wing with a pool view. We stayed two nights and the room was very quiet. Bed was comfortable. Complimentary shuttle bus service is provided that takes you across the street to the ticket office. Since it was hot while we visited in late August, that saved us a walk or taking our car the short distance to the parking area for the Graceland tours. Also after a day of walking around the Mansion and museums in the Entertainment area and ride back to the hotel was nice. We would stay there again when in Memphis.

Yelp
I do not take leaving this two star review lightly. I had some really positive experiences, but unfortunately more negative experiences, so I did the math and the division and came up with two stars. Let's start with the positive! Free peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at 9 PM, which is perfect for a bedtime snack. Free movie that they play at 7 PM. This place is all inclusive, shuttle service, restaurants, gift shop, bar, a swimming pool. They thought of everything. Dorothy, at the information counter could not have been more delightful! Our shuttle driver, I believe her name is Corrine was lovely! The gray haired man doing the valet parking, super helpful, friendly, and very nice. Now, onto the negatives. I stayed in room 565 and I am attaching a photo of the metal strip right outside my door. So every morning and all throughout every day that I stayed there the house cleaning carts go over it and it is the loudest metal CLANK starting bright and early around 8 o'clock in the morning. It was every day AND all day long and it was horrible. It's almost like a modular building that was just pieced together by these metal strips. It is a beautiful hotel, but the employees have no pride in it because every single wall on every single floor is scraped from the housekeeping cards. I thought maybe it was just my floor, but I looked on every single floor and it's all the same. Some scrapes are so deep that little chunks of sheet rock and wallpaper are missing. So sad to see such a beautiful new hotel with such wear and tear so soon. I am attaching video of that as well. If you fill out a paper waving housekeeping, you'll get a free beverage. I don't particularly like people in my room, so this was an easy decision for me to make. I fill out the paper and I go downstairs and this woman named Kate, (who is always bent over staring at her phone every single time I went down there) took my paper and just said thanks and went back to her phone. When I got back up to my room, my son asked me where the Voucher was. I figured they would just attach some sort of note on my account, he said no they were supposed to give me a voucher so I called down to reception and a woman answered. I asked where I could get the voucher and she insisted I should've been handed the voucher when I turned in the form. I said that I was not given a voucher and she basically said well I don't know what to tell you, you should've been given one. I described the person and said her name was Kate who took my form and she said AND I QUOTE "oh. That's me. You can come down and get one". Keep in mind I'm on the fifth floor in a suite so it's a good seven minute walk back down to reception. This is after a 15,000 step day and it's late at night so seven minutes down seven minutes back to my room was not enjoyable especially because I just come from down there. Anyway, when I got back down there. I expected a smile and an apology. Nope, she barely looked up from her phone and handed me the voucher and then went back to her phone. Not one word came out of her mouth for my inconvenience and her dropping the ball. Had dinner twice in the nicer restaurant and it was nice. Had dinner in the Elvis Presley diner and we placed our order and we were pre-dinner rush. As we are waiting, the restaurant is starting to get more and more busy. We noticed the people next to us get their food even though they came in easily 10 minutes after us. So we're waiting and waiting and next thing I know they are finishing their dinner and getting their bill and we still haven't been served. we flag our waiter down and he went to check on our food and said that someone had taken it and he would put the order in again. We've now been sitting 45 minutes with no food. Our food actually comes out very prompt after that, but it had me thinking if food is always so promptly served how come we were sitting there 45 minutes in our waiter did not know to think something was wrong.... Anyway, at this point, we've missed the 7 PM movie but we're trying to wrap up and we never get the bill. We keep waiting and waiting and waiting finally we flagged the waiter down again and he says he's sorry that he forgot about us. But I can't help but feel if someone took our food and gave it to another table, wouldn't you kind of hyperfocus on our table after that. Anyway, when he brought the bill, no apology, no offer of a free dessert, no 10% discount, nothing. The fact that this mess up cost us missing the movie was irritating enough, but I just think he should have realized if food comes out promptly that there was a table sitting there for over 45 minutes with nothing. He dropped the ball and we were not in anyway compensated for missing a movie. I mean a free scoop of ice cream for my kid would've completely changed the tone.

We just returned from a stay at The Guest House at Graceland. Everything was wonderful. The staff were all very friendly, kind and gracious. It was December and it was lovely hearing Elvis Christmas music throughout the facility. It is very conveniently located for visiting Graceland and the exhibits across the street. The lobby was beautifully decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Yelp
The Guest House is definitely the place to stay if you want to visit Graceland due to the location. In reading other reviews, we didn't have the short staff issue like others did. There was someone at check in and check out, someone answered our room service call and we had good service at both Delta's and the lobby bar. The room we had was very clean and roomy and they even had the TV on when we arrived playing Elvis music. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, we got to enjoy some cocktails by one of the fire pits one evening. Additionally, at night they offer a peanut butter and jelly sandwich station, served with chocolate milk, which was a nice snack. Some of the downfalls are the surprise $10 parking fee for both the hotel and Graceland. I personally feel that if you purchased a ticket to Graceland, they shouldn't be charging parking on top of that. Make sure you take the shuttle over, it's free and our driver was amazing! She sang happy birthday to me on the way and was so sweet and kind. I also felt as though the breakfast buffet price was a bit steep after the cost of the room. While I understand it is all you can eat, the room rate and all the fees added up quick. Overall I would stay here again if I ever came back to Graceland. I would certainly try EP's bar and grill since we didn't get the chance on this visit.

Yelp
To be fair, here's an update of my review and I forgot to do it right after. Immediately after my complaint, the general manager of the property, Travis Campbell, took it upon himself to correct the wrongdoing. He apologized for the incorrect behavior of the front desk staff which were responding to a new policy in place and clearly tried to execute it too much at face value, and after very kind and proper words also offered to treat us to breakfast. We thanked him but told him that we were leaving too early the following morning. That evening we had dinner at the hotel's top restaurant, Delta's Kitchen (which was excellent). The next morning after leaving we were pleasantly surprised when we received an email from Mr. Campbell indicating that he has removed the charge from our checkout in lieu of the breakfast that we couldn't accept. Such a proactive attitude and action can only show that the apology was not a procedural thing, but actually an honest intention to treat their customers to a good experience. Yes the check-in experience was awful, but everyone has an awful moment as they did that day, but not everyone goes to this length to make a bad experience into a good one.

Yelp
While the room was great and location to get to Elvis mansion was easy, nothing to do in the area. The pool was nice but no service. No pool towels in the afternoon. No security to watch unruly children and parents. I. Other words, too chaotic. Restaurants except for the breakfast place were so bad.

Yelp
Our stay at the Guest House had us all shook up! The beds were very soft and comfortable--very quiet and clean rooms. We loved the breakfast buffet at Delta's. Guitar waffles! Tasty bacon. There were not any gluten-free or vegan specific options but you could make a yummy breakfast with the selections. The cute bonuses like the 10 PM PB&J bar, daily Elvis movies and fruit-infused water in the lobby were great! Elvis was music everywhere, even in the rooms! The live music every night was a cool vibe after a busy day. Great pool with a lounge ledge and poolside cocktail service. It wasn't overly busy when we visited in mid-August. Fun gift shop with tempting goodies. They had Guest House specific gear. So much bling it would make the King proud. 10/10 highly recommend!

Yelp
Hotel was amazing!!! Customer service needs improvement. The bars could have offered more choices for drinks and the service was lousy.

Yelp
The strength of this place is it's superior location right next to the House and Property Elvis used to live. The museum and tour start are directly across the street--you can walk it in 10 minutes (there is a street crossing light) or they have a shuttle from the Hotel every 30 minutes. We took the shuttle over, and walked it back. Parking is free and easy for hotel guests with a large self-parking lot. There is a 24-hour manned gate to get in and security drives around the large lot. I still would not leave things in your car here or anywhere really. The people that work here are nice. The rooms are expensive but good sized for 2 people. The pool was closed for the season when we where here and looking out our window at the back property--it's fine, but not impressive. Nothing that I would call a resort--it's a Hilton or Marriott level hotel though. Towels were very good--comfortable and bed very comfortable. Bath soap was facial soap so I used a bath bar from the last hotel. Room was quiet--I could have slept all day. The one thing that was a problem in the room and the reason I may not stay here again was the bathroom. To save money on electricity they installed LED lighting over the sink that is too Dark. And I mean dark--like you needed a light to see yourself for a shave or face detail. I don't know why they did not realize that the lighting was insufficient. And the other lights over the shower and toilet were too dark too. The bathroom needs new lighting. Interesting was that I thought that maybe a bulb was out in the lamp over the sink and went to pull off the cover so I can grab the bulb--take it down and get a new one before my shower and shave. But I was able to tell that so many guests before us tried to do the same thing! because the latching on the glass was stretched away. Behind it was no bulb outlet, just a few of these LED's like you would find on a small night light. We brought out own bags up and down, and the bellman stored them for us the next day when we visited Elvis. There is a coffee shop in the lobby and a breakfast place with a Buffet ($25 a person) that provided a good breakfast that kept us filled all day. They made us egg white omelets and waffles. And when you ask for an egg white omelet here--they know you are either from NY or California. Other than Graceland next door and across the street, you will not be leaving the property to walk around the neighborhood. This hotel is on a Very busy high traffic street in Memphis with commercial businesses and some residences. The Hotel is just 10-15 minutes from the entrance to the Airport. If you can get by with a dark bathroom saving the planet with LED lights it's a perfect place to stay for a night visiting Graceland. Not sure I would want 2 nights here due to cost.

Yelp
We love the Guesthouse and have been coming every six months since November 2022. I did have an issue this visit in July 2024, but it was resolved by management. I did update my original review already, therefore I do not understand the need to justify the early check in fee in your response. I do realize early check in fees are an industry standard for typically a noon check in, not $75.00 to check in at 2:00PM when a customer is paying for an EIGHT night stay at your hotel. Even the receptionist recognized me as waiting on me three times before, so you would think your hotel would value such loyalty.

Yelp
I absolutely loved the decor! Our room was clean and the staff was very helpful. We caught the free shuttle across to the Graceland tour.

Yelp
Staff was so friendly and welcoming. I was a first time visitor from California and I enjoyed my stay! My room was very nice. Pool and outdoor area is also great! Fire pits were really cute. Also the live music downstairs at the bar.. and of course pbj night at 9. I will say I didn't see as many people in my age range (mid 30s). But as an Elvis fan, that was my main reason for originally picking this hotel, and because I wanted to visit Graceland anyway.. I would probably stay somewhere else in the future only due to convenience of wanting to go out etc. The restaurants they have on site weren't particularly my favorite so I ate out most nights. And I absolutely loved their fresh fruit infused water downstairs in the lobby!!!

Yelp
Everything goes well here. Very hospitable staff, food is good at the restaurants, shuttle service to airport and Graceland. Elvis music plays, there are Elvis movies every night and Elvis in TV too. Rooms are comfortable. I'm

Yelp
The hotel itself, stores, restaurants, amenities, and rooms were great! Great decor and attention to detail for a modern look in design. Rooms were clean and well stocked. Check-in staff wasn't exactly friendly, but they weren't rude either. Definitely busy and they were struggling with making keys. Due to all of this we couldn't check in until 4pm after a long day of traveling. Makes sense but could have been handled with more grace by staff as we were just asking questions about the timeframe. Made us feel like we were the inconvenience. Easy to stay at if you want to see Graceland! Shuttle service to and from the airport was fantastic. Easy and fast as well!

Yelp
This hotel was filthy. I found 2 baby roaches on the bathroom ceiling. Despite the photos of their room, the complaints were ignored and I was told they were unfounded since the roaches didn't come out, say hello, and introduce themselves to the maintenance tech. The restaurants don't serve entrees, they serve over cooked burgers and sandwich's. If you like PB & J as much as Elvis, then this is your spot. You even have the opportunity to watch an Elvis movie in their theater and then share the community peanut butter and make your own sandwich with a bunch of strangers who are also digging in. The cooks must be too busy making pimento sandwiches and can't break away to make guest sandwiches while following their health code training. You also get to pay to park their pretty empty hotel but that parking doesn't cover the parking directly across the street that has the same owners. Nope, unlike other hotels, being a guest of the guest house gives you know privileges. They nickel and dime you any way you can. In the mean time, lock your vehicle and don't talk to strangers. You are quite literally vacationing in the middle of a shithole.

Yelp
The Guest House at Graceland is, in a word, disappointing. We arrived at 3:27pm and approached the reception desk only to be greeted with "check in is at 4pm. Come back in 1/2 an hour". The seating area had over a dozen clusters of folks waiting. The reception desk had 3 representatives simply chatting with one another. 20 minutes later the manager arrives and asks why folks aren't being checked in? Check in suddenly begins at 3:47pm. We get to the desk & a dejected hospitality agent asks me my name. I give it to her & spell the 5 letters. She expresses a quizzical look & asks if maybe I used a different name? I reply, "No. I'm not on the run". She then passes me to another agent. He is in a much better mood & asks me name. I give it to him and the first agent leaves the guest she's with to say I spelled it differently with her. We'd called the night before to confirm the reservation & the reservation #. This precaution was useless in this case. In any case, their reservation system is quite poor as it is done off site & they needed to call elsewhere to find our reservation. Ultimately, after about 40 minutes, we are handed our key cards & directed to the elevators. Clearly this team isn't highly motivated. The room was clean but no different from a baseline Hilton or Marriott. They do offer Elvis movies for free in their theater M-F that was very enjoyable. No typical popcorn or sodas were offered during our visit. The WiFi is pretty horrendous. There's better service in flight. Cell service for that location (for Verizon anyway) was near zero as well. The hotel is a short walk away from Graceland but they offer shuttles to the property every 1/2 hour. There are also pink Cadillacs to take you to Marlowe's BBQ restaurant. The Guest House is about 15 minutes away from the downtown area, FedEx Arena & Beale Street. Parking is, at the time of this writing, $10/night or $16/nt for valet. The Guest House is located on Elvis Presley Boulevard which sounds a lot cooler than it is as it's generally populated with gas stations & fast food joints. During our stay they had suffered a substantial flood in the center (1 of 3) tower and the dining area, shop & bar were closed during our stay. I'm being generous with the 3rd star due to this fact. Frankly, the hospitality staff at the desk seemed unmotivated & not particularly friendly on this day (a Monday). More critically the reservation system is deeply flawed as we overheard & had conversations reflecting that our check in problem was a common one that slowed the process substantially due to the manager having to call another offsite office to "discover" reservations. They started serving breakfast in the dining area the day before we departed...so hopefully the services in general will return soon?

Yelp
I love the people...how I was greeted, attended and welcomed. I love the decor/the movie theater..restaurant and room. The organization/decoration of the room was great with lots of Elvis inspired accents. The room had garbage around places and fridge from the previous guest... I had to wipe down the shower to remove the other people hair. I will come back and try again to have a 5 stars experience all around thanks to the people working here.

Yelp
Hotel was nice, rooms were awesome! Loved the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with the chocolate milk served free every night, and the lady that served them was so nice!

Yelp
Elvis really knew how to live like a king. They have one of the best pools ever. If you stay here you have got to go to marlows.

Yelp
Obviously it's a great place to stay if visiting Graceland, but the Service...oh my, really bad. Having a hard time trying to eat or drink here! Plenty of great places in town with great service. Had a bartender tell me hes getting off soon and his replacement is late so don't order. WTH?

Yelp
If you're in Memphis just for Graceland, you need to stay at the Guest House at Graceland. Staying at the guesthouse really amplified the whole Graceland Experience - from the 7pm Elvis Movies at the Theater, to the 10pm PB&J snack. The hotel is fairly large, and offers a fair amount of activities including swimming, corn hole, table games, music, and movies. The only downside is the cleanliness. While out room was clean, the carpets and walls are dingy, but not bad. They do tack on a lot of hidden fees while checking in, so be wearing of that.

Yelp
Nice comfortable clean modern hotel but lacking included amenities. Nickel and dime you for everything. For instance breakfast buffet $20 pp was generic buffet you'd get free at any other hotel. Not very good btw. Overcooked my waffle. Yucky weird looking wrinkly sausage . $6 waters that are free at most places. Self parking $10. Also no free hot tea or coffee in the lobby like most hotels. pod drink machine in room is just not the same! Minimal and cheap toiletries. A line of 100 people for 1/3rd of pbj sandwich in the lobby. Crowded and poor, unfriendly service at times.

Yelp
We took our Sr parents here and there were no complaints. The room- fantastic, clean. TV was easy. We requested a walk-in shower for parents and the hotel delivered. The restaurants at the hotel are more than satisfying. Service throughout the hotel was friendly, kind and very helpful. They also have a shuttle to Graceland and the airport. I would come back again.

Yelp
Check in great peanut butter and jelly sandwich and hot chocolate bar at 9 o'clock until supplies. Last best place ever right by Graceland.

Yelp
If I didn't have to stay here for my friends up coming wedding.....I have had such trouble with them after I booked my room. I never got a confirmation number or emails. So I have to call every week to double check my booking is still there. (Anxiety issues) When I expressed this to one lady I got a bit huffy with me. Also my poor friend has had THE RUN AROUND with planning her wedding there. 0 stars for that alone. I'm not looking forward to my stay.....

Yelp
Service has been fantastic. HUGE property. I was a little annoyed at the pushy bellman but other than that, no complaints. They train their people well! There is a HUGE movie theatre for guests every night there is an Elvis movie ‍. :) The bed and temperature in the room were both very good! Wide hallways too!

Yelp
The hotel itself is fine but they need to work on their technology. The cell phone service isn't great. They also have misleading information on their website. They claim they have a fridge in the rooms but it's just a chiller so it doesn't keep your food cold at all.
