Location was superb, just a 10mins walk to the old town and 15mins walk to the train station.. Breakfast was elaborately presented in buffet style.. Reception staffs were pleasant and helpful.. Room cleanliness is excellent too. The only thing i didnt like was the dim lighting in the room. Apart for this, all was flawless

Hard to beat the location being a 5 minute walk from old town and about 15 minutes from the train station. The feeling of the hotel is unique as it used to be a church! The rooms are plain but big, and the tall windows give it great lighting. They also provide a complimentary breakfast that has everything you need. Definitely would stay here again!

Wonderful stay in a perfect location. Great price with breakfast included. Yes the rooms are on the plain side but they felt clean and nothing beats the huge windows. If you are looking for a unique place to stay this is it! It was magical hearing the church bells while enjoying a morning coffee

We had a wonderful stay at Gästehaus Priester! Our accommodation, consisting of one bedroom and a living room, was spotlessly clean and very spacious. The atmosphere of the place gave a truly sacred sense of calm and freshness. The breakfast was very filling and offered a great variety. The gentleman and lady who handled our reservation were very warm and helpful. The staff serving breakfast were extremely friendly and cheerful. Located right in the heart of the city, it’s a perfect base with easy access to everywhere. Highly recommended!

I could not have been happier with my experience at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious and the seating in the courtyard was relaxing and pretty. The location was perfect! Every I wanted to do was within a mile. The train station was a straight line from this hotel and I think 7/10 of a mile. It’s just a couple blocks from the river and the beautiful UNESCO old town. The meeting point for the tours I took was about a 10 minute walk. The communication before I reached the hotel was excellent. They even sent the QR code for free local bus transit. My room was clean. I highly recommend this hotel.

I loved the idea of staying in a converted preist’s seminary & was realistic about the accommodation. (After all it was a seminary.) However, considering the exorbitant price we paid for the simple dorm room with no TV, no air conditioning, bare bones room with tiny shower & a small bottle of body wash etc. ….I thought it was a bit overpriced. This is essentially a self service guest house where no one in reception desk after 4pm, you let yourself into guesthouse, auto lights, & no lobby. There is a common area with no frills table in the hall with a tv. Ok… no frills I get but this was way over priced (perhaps due to their location?).|A positive… breakfast IS included!|[note: many Euro hotels have gone to a “fee based” ( not included) ] breakfast. Sleeping areas were large but spartan;bathroom was tiny. Another positive….very clean!

Quiet repose, arriving between 2-4pm the massive door opens automatically. The building is beautiful, in town, and a 8 minute walk up from the Sound of Music 🎶 and Hallstatt all-day tour. Also, I was just about across the road 5 minutes from Mirabell Park, which is sumptuous. After reception hours, the key opens the door. Arriving at other times has different instructions. Check in and pay the balance, choosing Euros because USD will cost you more on your card. You are warmly welcomed and guided to your room. My key was traditional and solid. My room was spacious, pristine, bright, and comfortable with a personal bathroom and shower. Very modern. There's a wall heater for winter. The window is double pane, both open inwards. I had a fan which was not needed. Be ready for all sorts of weather in August. I appreciate all the little details, electric tea pot, assorted tea, and cute jam. Feeling at home, quiet, comfortable bed, in for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was over the top. Fresh made, the best inclusive buffet I've enjoyed in a long time. There's lots of seating with 3 rooms and some tables outside. Book your stay well ahead. I loved coming home to the blessing of a peaceful courtyard. 1st floor has a small seated atrium for reflection. My room faced the cafe pedestrian alley. There are lots of places to eat as a vegan. Enjoy!
