Guest House

Hotel was good. I would just inform the customers in advance about the parking situation. The entrance of the place is directly on the road. Car can be parked not so far, but still inconvenient if you don’t know that.

This is a great little hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. I had a room at the back and it was very quiet. The breakfast is modest but adequate. I would definitely go there again.

Very clean and modern style rooms. Great location to walk and ample restaurant selections within minutes of the guest house. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Felt very safe here and would return! Great value. Multi-lingual staff

The staff was extremely helpful. The room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was simple but good. We were in a back room that was quiet. The hotel is conveniently located near the main square, the monastery, the river, restaurants, the taxi cab stand, etc. There is no elevator but that wasn't a problem for us.

Very comfortable room with a small, full kitchen. Everything new and working perfectly. We stayed for 2 nights. The second day ,the room was cleaned and we were provided with clean towels. The staff was very kind and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Able to check in early, upgraded to kitchenette, great front desk staff, friendly accommodating, beautiful room. Perfect spot for walking to the castle and convent and around the old town area. Beware if you cannot do stairs the hotel does not have a lift, and the shower is small getting through the doors, for us it was perfect. Very close to train station, however we were in Thomar on a Monday and many restaurants are closed that day, the castle is open and you can spend several hours wandering there and the convent, definitely worth a visit!

We had a fantastic night's stay and rest at Tomar story. It was extremely clean and the room was decorated beautifully. We loved the themed aspect of our room and the window and view of the river was beautiful. The hotel staff were lovely and looked after our luggage outside of the check in / checkout times. Tomar is a brilliant riverside town and the visit to the Castle and Church of Christ to see the Knights Templar headquarters has been the highlight of our Portuguese tour.

Absolutely wonderful guest house. Very helpful staff. Clean and spacious room. Hot shower with good water pressure. Decent wifi. Great location. Excellent value for money.
